Firstly, because she hadn't made a spicy dish before, and secondly, because she was craving it herself.
While writing out the menu for her special, Jiang Qiuqiu had written down "blood curd" and was suddenly struck by a craving for its unique texture—silky, tender, and soft. Paired with Sichuan-style spices, it was utterly irresistible.
'I can't think about it anymore. The more I do, the hungrier I get.'
It was still early, so Jiang Qiuqiu decided to do some prep work before the stream.
