Being a community mod was actually pretty boring.
Because... this community was full of old-timers.
The average age was only around forty, so you'd think there'd still be some energy. But for some reason, everything they discussed was so dated and stuffy.
They talked a lot about food, sure, but it was just talk. You never saw any real fandom culture.
You never saw any flame wars, either.
On the rare occasion a fight did break out, it was for the weirdest reasons. For instance: you'd insult my Beast Gene for being ugly, and I'd fire back that the gene you inherited was just for some ornamental pet, blah blah blah. It was incredibly dull.
Then, a couple of days ago, a "green tea" seemed to pop up out of nowhere.
That's how Dong Dongdong described the post. It reeked of that "green tea" vibe—pretending to be neutral, but the wording was just so disingenuous.
Anyway! It was fascinating!
