Yuan Si was stopped at the door as soon as she came in. After finally getting the grain situation sorted out, her mother pulled her inside for a thorough questioning.
Of course, Yuan Si did her best to attribute everything to her master. She definitely wouldn't mention the dangerous and bloody parts. According to her, she and her master had simply gone for a stroll up the mountain, dealt with the bandits there, and happened to bring back a lot of good things.
"Mom, my master didn't want any of the things from the bandits' den, so he gave it all to me. But he said there are too many prying eyes around here, so it's not a good idea to take that stuff out. He's holding onto it for me and will deliver it to our house after we go home," Yuan Si whispered to her mother.
