Late at night, Joy Fischer was driving to the Fischer family home, the fear in her eyes impossible to contain as she unconsciously sped up.
Sitting in the back seat, Luna Nash unconsciously tightened her grip on the handle.
"Joy, I know you're in a hurry, but please slow down! It's the middle of the night!"
Joy Fischer had only just gotten her driver's license, and there was no telling what might happen with her driving so anxiously.
Jane Sterling, sitting in the passenger seat, shot a reassuring glance at Luna Nash in the back before gently patting Joy Fischer's shoulder.
"Don't be anxious. Tell us what happened. If there's anything I can do to help, I will."
Luna Nash chimed in from the back seat as well.
"Yeah, Joy! We're all friends here. What could you possibly have to hide from us?"
Joy Fischer bit her lip, unsure how to explain it to them. After a moment's thought, she simply took out her phone and placed it in Jane Sterling's hands.
