She tried to move her aching limbs, only to find they were bound tight. She couldn't budge. A cloth strip was stuffed in her mouth, preventing her from speaking. The entire space was plunged into darkness.
Black Panther raised an eyebrow. He hadn't expected her to wake up so quickly.
He stepped forward and ripped the gag from her mouth.
"COUGH, COUGH—"
Jane Sterling coughed lightly, her senses telling her she was in an unfamiliar place.
'Could the taxi driver have done something?'
She remained remarkably calm. Hearing the footsteps in front of her halt, she strained her ears to listen.
A blindfold prevented her from seeing her surroundings.
However, she could feel that the air was warm and comfortable. She was likely indoors.
"Who are you? Where is this? What do you want?"
