Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Bro, Your Head is Glowing Green

[What? A plot twist? This is why watching live is so much better!]

[Someone who knows Milk Tea is here to call them out! I knew it was scripted! And to think I felt so sorry for Milk Tea! Liars! I'm unfollowing Milk Tea!]

"Don't be so hasty. There are no coincidences. That's the profound nature of psychology. If you didn't have psychological issues, you wouldn't have called in to speak with me."

"As for whether you have depression, you'll know once I'm done. You're not Milk Tea's friend. You're one of her husband's buddies. You knew he was cheating, didn't you? You've had meals with his mistress and the other women he was seeing. Just a moment ago, you were thinking about tipping off Milk Tea's husband, am I right?"

[Holy shit! I'm getting totally lost! Even a suspense thriller wouldn't dare to have this many twists!]

The man's expression faltered, but he remained stubborn. If word of this got out, how could he ever show his face again?

A man's pride is the most important thing!

"I am a friend of Milk Tea's husband, that's true. But I don't know anything about what you're saying."

Wen Ying smiled. "You know perfectly well whether you were going to tip him off or not. And just now, weren't you thinking of using this as leverage to blackmail Milk Tea's husband for tens of thousands? As your psychologist, I feel I should remind you that your psychological issues are bordering on criminal."

[Oh my god! I thought he was being a loyal friend, but now he's a blackmailer?]

[They say you should take a knife in the ribs for your brother, but he'd rather put two knives in his brother for money!]

"Stop trying to fool the viewers! I'm not buying your act. I was just testing you. Everyone, don't fall for it! I've got stuff to do, so I'm out of here."

"Not so fast. You already paid. Don't you want to hear how severe your depression is? Didn't your wife say she was preparing a surprise for you today, and that you shouldn't come home until tonight?"

The man's expression shifted again when he heard this. His wife *had* said that. Today was his birthday, so he'd planned to play along.

'But how could this woman know that?'

"You know Milk Tea, don't you? That means you must know my wife!"

The man seemed to think he'd discovered the truth!

"My friend, your condition really is serious! I think you should go home right now. There's a vast green prairie waiting for you there."

[Damn! This is juicy!]

[Bro, your head is glowing green! If you hurry back now, you might still catch them!]

[I'm already telling all my friends to tune in! This stream is amazing!]

The man snapped. Who could stand by and let someone say something like that about them?

'My wife is cheating on me?'

'In our own home?'

'No way!'

"I'll prove you're a liar! I'll get the platform to ban you! I'm going home right now to prove it!"

His face grim, the man hailed a taxi, keeping the stream running the whole time.

Less than ten minutes later, the man got out of the car, took the elevator, and stood outside his apartment door.

He raised his hand to knock, but then glanced at the live stream.

[Don't knock, bro! The best part of catching a cheater is the element of surprise!]

[Don't be scared, bro! We've got your back! If the host is lying, we'll all report her together! Send her to prison! Getting scammed for 2,000 is enough to file a police report!]

The man lowered his hand, pulled a key from his pocket, and opened the door.

In an instant, all the blood rushed to his head.

"Damn it! You're actually *** in my own home!"

The phone clattered to the floor, but everyone on the stream saw it: in the foyer, three pairs of men's shoes were strewn about.

[Can I really watch this without a subscription?]

[A whole green prairie on his head. I feel so bad for this bro!]

[Here it comes, here it comes! Brace for impact!]

But just then, the phone malfunctioned. The screen shattered, and the viewers could only hear the audio.

"Cheng Dalili, are you even human?! Why do you think I work so hard?! It's because your parents back home needed money to build a house! You made me go to my family and borrow fifty thousand for you! Easy for you to say! You call that 'borrowing'? You were just taking it! What gives you the right to hit me?! If you've got any guts, then don't you dare use that money!"
