The woman who approached was about thirty, glittering with jewels. Her exquisite makeup was framed by voluminous, wavy curls. She took off her sunglasses, her gaze landing curiously on Qin Hanyun.
"I can't believe it's really you. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Brother Han Yun, what are you doing here?"
The woman clearly knew the driver. Her gaze flickered toward Chaochao's mother for a moment before she looked away.
'This woman looks so drab and provincial. Probably just some local asking for directions.'
"On business," Qin Hanyun said tersely.
"Brother Han Yun, are you going back to Jiang City now? I'm going back too. Let's go together."
"Sorry, it's not convenient."
"Let's go."
Qin Hanyun didn't even introduce the woman, simply turning to Chaochao's mother.
Chaochao's mother smiled, nodded, and left with Qin Hanyun.
The woman watched resentfully, a little confused. "Uncle Li, isn't that woman a local?"
"I suppose so. I'm not sure either."
