As they spoke, they reached the elevator doors. Chu Yao was completely disguised, with a mask and sunglasses, but the bright red tips of her ears completely gave away her furiously blushing cheeks.
They were so close, how could Lu Xize not sense the bashfulness of the woman in his arms? A faint smile played on his lips, and his voice grew even softer. "Foot doesn't hurt anymore?"

Chu Yao froze. 'He knew?'
'Her foot was a little sore, but she hadn't shown any sign of it. How did he know? And when did he find out?'
'Besides, if he knew, why didn't he do something sooner? Why wait until now to carry me?'
