I want to write a story, it's about...
The Fortune That Changed a Slum,
Rahmat Mia is a poor rickshaw puller in Dhaka. He pulls rickshaw in different areas of the city. One day he saw some men selling lottery tickets. He felt tempted and bought a ticket.
He knew the date of the draw and waited eagerly for the day. When it finally came, he bought a newspaper and returned to his slum to check the result in secret. With trembling hands, he took out the ticket from his torn bag and matched the number.
To his utter surprise, his number had won the first prize-50 lakh taka! He checked again and again, unable to believe his eyes. "Can this be real?" he whispered. Though he felt like shouting, he stayed silent. He told no one, not even his wife.
Quietly, he contacted the lottery office and claimed the money. Soon, his name appeared in the newspaper as the winner. Then, Rahmat made a noble decision-he would not enjoy the fortune alone.
He deposited half the money in a bank and used the rest to buy land and build a house. He also gave small loans to his slum-mates to start a cooperative business. He joined them. and together they built a better life.
The slum dwellers gradually became solvent. and Rahmat became a symbol of hope. A single lottery ticket had changed not just his fate, but the future of an entire community.
