The atmosphere in the waiting room shifted, turning heavy and sharp. Phoebe fixed Luca with a piercing gaze, her executive presence completely commanding the room.
"Let's get straight to the point," she said, her voice dripping with absolute authority. "Which business matter do you want to discuss?"
"Has my partnership proposal not reached you yet?" Luca asked.
"It did. I've read it."
"Good. Then I believe you've had more than enough time to come to a decision," Luca pressed, leaning in slightly. "Delaying a major business venture is never a wise move."

Phoebe leaned back, her expression unreadable. "You seem very certain that I've reached a decision, considering you handed me a proposal that looks entirely half-baked."
A frown creased Luca's brow. "Is there a part that falls short of your standards?"
"Naturally. I have no interest in partnering with someone who is indecisive."
"Indecisive?"
