Chapter 66 - 66 – A saiyan reborn

Tundra watched the testing with some interest, from Rhuba fighting a few soldiers to having her blood drawn.

Once Rhuba finished everything, Tundra decided to let her rest. He wanted her to be in peak physical condition when he enhanced her.

Rhuba rested on one of the ship's beds, wondering what would happen next, before eventually going to sleep.

With that, a day passed before Rhuba came face-to-face with Tundra, who simply placed his hand on her head, his hand engulfing the entirety of her head before a glowing white light formed around it, pulsing into Rhuba.

For a moment, nothing happened, with Rhuba going rigid, before a bloodcurdling scream was torn from her lungs as her body began to grow larger, her canines growing more pronounced and her tail growing darker, fading from an earthy brown to a dark black, much like her hair.

Her muscles grew as her frame grew larger, her height surpassing any other Saiyan alive, her arms and hands growing a bit larger.

Tundra made sure to keep holding onto her. He felt her ki grow as he saw her more animalistic features get exaggerated. It was at this moment that he had a faint feeling that someone related to him would find this very amusing.

Several minutes later, the changes stopped as she passed out. Thankfully, she was wearing Tundra's issued battle armor, or she would've burst out of her clothes.

Tundra stared at Rhuba for a moment. He would never be doing this again. He felt a decade being shaved off his life.

Having someone pick up Rhuba, only for it to require two soldiers due to the physical weight of her body, and them not wanting to hurt something Tundra was interested in, Tundra left for his throne, pondering over what this mystic mana had done.

---

Several days had passed since Rhuba had passed out. She hadn't woken up yet. Many researchers huddled around a bed, looking at Rhuba. They had inserted an IV to pump nutrient-rich fluid into her veins.

While looking into her blood, the researchers saw that her DNA was constantly rewriting itself. That was likely what caused her coma.

Tundra also noticed that a bit of his mystic mana had gotten stuck inside of her, gradually being used over time, rewriting her DNA to make it better. It seemed like there was still room for improvement.

He sighed. There was no way he was going to wait for her to wake up. He was heading to Earth for the Dragon Balls.

With that decision, Tundra's ship set off for Earth, the journey taking several weeks, and in all that time, she did not wake once.

Landing on the ground, Tundra spread his senses across the entire planet, wondering if he could find them that way.

And he could. He felt faint traces of mystic mana, seven of them to be exact.

Tundra was about to collect the Dragon Balls when he felt several large power levels. It was the Earth fighters.

Tundra decided to wait at his ship's entrance, watching them arrive. It was Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo. They seemed far stronger than when they last met.

The three landed in front of Tundra, visibly sweating. They had trained hard to match Tundra, but now Tundra had gotten even stronger, like an ever-moving wall.

The first to talk was Gohan.

"Mr. Tundra... may we ask why you're here?"

Tundra smiled. He was polite, too polite for a Saiyan, but it was better than being rude.

"The Dragon Balls."

Piccolo let out a sound of irritation. Tundra had used them last time too.

"They're not active right now. I suggest you leave."

Tundra simply chuckled. He had an idea on how to recharge them.

"I know, but I'll still be using them."

Just then, all of the faint traces of mystic mana started moving to one location.

"What?!"

Without another word, Tundra blasted off toward one of them, grabbing hold of the stone ball and following it.

It led to the Lookout, where he saw three unknown figures. One of them was a very old Namekian who only exclaimed an "Oh dear" when he saw Tundra.

The two other figures reacted in horror at his appearance, recognizing Tundra as the one who defeated Buu.

Tundra landed on the Lookout, holding the Dragon Ball so they couldn't take it.

"Who are you three?"

The Namekian slowly stepped up, carrying himself with his cane.

"My name is Neva, and these are... what were their names again?"

The two others nearly fell over in exasperation, opting to introduce themselves while trying not to anger Tundra.

"My name is Degesu," the pink-skinned alien said, looking suspiciously like Shin.

"And I'm Gomah, self-proclaimed ruler of the Demon Realm!" the small one yelled out. He hardly had a claim to the throne, but it would make him seem more important.

Tundra stared down at Gomah. At his height, he seemed like a black pebble. He was more curious about Neva, an old Namekian who could apparently summon the Dragon Balls that weren't his, even when they were stone. He didn't buy the act one bit.

"And Neva, I assume you had a way to restore the Dragon Balls?" He had guessed, but there was no way the pebble could do so, and the Namekians were the only ones he knew who could make the Dragon Balls.

"Hmm... I can, yes."

"Then allow me to try first."

Tundra placed the Dragon Ball in his hand next to the others before moving his hands between them, pulsing out mystic mana over the Dragon Balls, wishing for them to charge. The Dragon Balls gradually turned back from stone.

"Hmm... you're quite the talented youngin'..." Neva suddenly said, slightly dropping his act.
