"Caius, sweetie, what do you think of this?" I asked, holding up a wedding dress for his opinion.
In my own opinion, none of these store-bought dresses was good enough for me, but time was short. I had to endure the indignity for the greater good. It would make me look kind and understanding in front of Caius.
Once I was the Luna of Ashbourne, I would be able to deck myself in the most elaborate, expensive clothes money could buy for every occasion.
Now if only my future husband could get with the program and appreciate the heavy sacrifice I was making. I wanted his eyes on me. In this past week, I had been trying ways and means to lure him into my bed, but his hands had always stopped above my waistband. It was enough to make a girl feel insecure and infuriated.
