Bram struck his subordinates one by one. He was furious because one of his sources of income had vanished just like that.
"You're all careless! I told you to move from that location two months ago. Now my reputation is on the line because of your stupidity!" His voice was extremely loud, but his men could only lower their heads in silence.
Bram stared at them one by one. Out of so many, only a few were left now. If those who had been arrested opened their mouths, his life would be over.
"Damn it...!"
A medium-sized vase flew straight at one of them, hitting his head and sending him crashing to the floor. No one dared to help.
There was nothing but resentment, hatred, and suppressed anger buried in their minds from being treated like this.
"I don't care. You all need to hide somewhere no one can reach. If you get caught, I'll kill you myself in your prison cell!"
They left without arguing or making a sound, their footsteps fading into the silent room.
