Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4: A NEW ENVIRONMENT

Felix after having that brief talk with Mia parts ways with her to make his way into his room. The fact that he was sharing it with Amy had been something he had been battling in head just now knowing he was not good with interactions he expected a solo room but he had to share his own and not with anyone but a girl who seemed troubled by that too.But it had unexpectedly happened to each of them and with nothing to do about it they just had to live through that pain like that. Felix almost a few meters to his room spots people near the door chattering with Amy wondering what had happened. Some faces he saw in the chattering looked familiar to him. Then a flash of memory appeared making him remember that some of faces he saw when he left the room after he and Amy got into that confrontation. Then after that swift rewind then he caught the attention of one of the guys then the guy with another guy but a little bit shorter moving towards him."Heyy" one of them exclaims. Felix wanting to turn back is instantly paused when the less taller guy calls out to him "Felix" and they both approach him "And where do I know you from" Felix responds on a low tone wondering why they were approaching him. "My name's Lucas and this guy here is Mike" Lucas says referring to the less taller one."And we approached you because of what happened a few moments ago when the you and the other girl clashed". Lucas continues. Mike cuts in by saying "We heard some noise and the commotion but I wasn't sure what was happening there so I went to call Lucas right here and unknowingly others too heard about what was happening and so we thought it was something grand."Wait were we really making that much sound" Felix wonders recalling what had happened back then and not remembering that slight confrontation was causing that much attention. "So that's why you people are surrounded at the way like that huh" Felix asks ."Yeah but we actually thought it was a serious issue but not knowing it was something like that at all" Mike says with a laugh. "So she told you all of that huh" Felix responds thinking he could have explained it better but he just forgot about it. "You guys shouldn't have really intervened it was just a pure waste of strength and energy" Felix says bluntly . "Nahh we thought it was something serious and maybe a little bit too much caring of our environment made us bring ourselves into the story but at least we got to know you" Lucas states and Mike breaks in by saying "And you seem pretty cool too" Mike states ."Yeah we can be friends and we are in the halls just beneath yours" Lucas concludes and after the exchange Felix goes on to meet some ladies who were the ones who came with the guys and he also got to know them each going by the names of Rose and Ariel. After getting new friends which he really didn't see that way even though they agreed on being friends. Felix wasn't really the interactive type rather more of the introvert type but he really couldn't do anything against it but he had to be cautious just so they don't find out and expose his secret life. "I never thought what happened not long ago would attract people" Amy speaks referring to Felix who was sitting on his bed. "Yeah you caused it right" Felix replies plainly with a very dull expression. "Was it me or you" Amy asks with a little strict tone on her words . "You know let's forget about it" Felix concludes. It was night time at the city and the city illuminated under the cold night with modified electric lanterns and lamps shining brightly on the streets creating an explicit view. And on the far north side of the city stood the university illuminating under the moonlight showing how well planned and beautiful the campus was. Felix in room was preparing himself to go get some food because he was hungry and he had not eaten from noon to now. "Hey I am going to get something to eat so I'll be back" Felix states referring to Amy who had earphones in her ears."Were you saying something" Amy responds taking her earphones out of ears. "I was saying I am going to eat so I'll be back" Felix says whiles calmly opening the door and makes his leave. The cafeteria hall was a few meters from his block and the layout and structure of the hall was just exquisite and the lighting from the inside made it an intricate view.Even though it was specifically a place meant for vendors to sell food and also serve as place where people can eat and also interact and but it also provided other things like mini stores for daily provisions and needs. Felix had entered into the hall but found quite a number of people gathered among some food sites with little room to move but he was able to get himself away from the crowd. He then finds a spot where there was a few number of people around and he made a quick order and found a spot and went to sit down to eat but before he sat down he looked around to see if he would notice anyone familiar like his sister or something. Not knowing he was already being traced by some others. "Hey Felix" Mike shouts as he rushes on to where Felix was sitting with Lucas. Felix turns hearing a familiar sound and sees Mike and Lucas closing in. Felix wanted to eat in peace and wasn't really in the mood to interact with others but having company around is not really a big deal."What brought you guys here" Felix asks. "We just saw you around and and decided to hang around" Lucas answers. "Okay" Felix says stretching his tone a bit. Meanwhile back in the room, Amy is busy arranging her stuff when she comes across a photograph of two females: one a little kid and another a but older but at first glance they look like sibling but actually it was Amy and her mother in that frame.*flash* lightning strikes sound with the uproar of thunder following along. Under the dark,cold skies a terrifying scene unravelled at least for the little one who was enclosed in a tight,hidden spot. Her eyes were witnessing something which she didn't want to believe thinking it was supposed to be an illusion or a dream but in life you just have to wake up to reality and accept fate. Her mother who was a few metres away from the place where she was hidden had an arm pierced into her violently with blood dripping around and flowing out of her mouth as if it was an overflowing pipe with no stopper. To the little girl it was a horrifying sight and her drive to react was rising but fear of also losing her life made her control herself. Her mother was killed by huge,tall bright figure with a bright white aura emanating around it. The girl seeing everything could not even think of who that figure was or will be. *ring* Amy's phone rings at the right moment bringing her back to her original senses even though her trip down memory lane was short. She wished she would always recall the good moments but everytime she remembered her mother that horrific scene kept playing in her mind as if they were on repeat. Her mothers death was something she would never forget all her life. For someone who came from a discriminative family her mother had been there for her throughout the hard times and she had never thought her farewell from the living world will come to be like that. A few minutes later Felix walked in with the same look he had left with. "Well that was fast" Amy says not expecting Felix to come by his time. "I just left to eat that's all" Felix states trying to make the idea that eating should not be something one should waste time on. Later on that night, Amy was preparing herself to go bed and she turned to see if Felix was still awake to wish him good night but she saw him laying on his bed with nothing showing he's awake so she decides to get in her bed without wishing any goodnight. Not knowing Felix was awake and he couldn't sleep which was pretty disturbing because he could not grasp what would cause him to be in this state. He turned around to see if Amy was awake but the moment her head touched her pillows she had wandered into the land of dreams. The next day approached very fast and it was a bright morning with some students going for lectures and others working out and a whole lot of activities going on. Amy had woken up only to find Felix already off and nowhere to be seen. She changed, brushed her teeth and made up her mind to go work out a bit. She hit on the gym which was not that really far from her block. She started by lifting wieghts and you could see how that work output showed how built she was physically showcasing her great feminine build enhanced more by frequent physical training and the rate at which her beauty alonside with her structure an the way she lifted those weights easily had made a magnet of attraction with most guys losing their focus because of what they were seeing. After some small weightlifting and some upper body workouts and concluding with some running on a treadmill she decides to go on a break and continues by going on some jogging outside. She made brisk runs throughout the dark and shadowy alleys as if she had lost her sense of direction. "Move in, Move in : target found" A radio voice sounds coming from a person embodied in dark clothes with a mask on his face signalling others to close in on Amy. But Amy had suspected them already stalking her and they aura they preached around themselves was not normal so she lured them into a place where she could handle them effectively without any notice. The people stalking her were moving stealthily through the shadows but Amy could predict all their movements."Show yourselves you pathetic fools or you scared to get cooked" Amy threatens moving into a dark shadowy alley. Then after ushering out those words the moving figures start closing in. "Were closing in , target confirmed" One of the guys spoke out . "Are they from some of the clans and even if they are what is their interest" Amy thinks speculating which people would come after her at a time like this. The people in dark clothes close in with one throwing a blade with full force and high speed towards Amy but she manages to catch it with ease waiting for the guys to come out. Suddenly a tall,huge dude comes out of nowhere landing a blow but Amy ducks and the guy lands a kick but Amy swerves and once the guy's kick lands on the ground the force from the kick breaks the surface area contact on the ground. Amy then retaliates by exchanging blows with the big guy and after blocking each of the guy's blows Amy lands a devastating punch on the gut and another guy moves in and Amy reacts by making a spin turn away from him and stops his blows and delivers punches of her own so intense making the guy struggle a little bit. The big guy then comes in again using brute and massive force lands heavy punches and blows but Amy skillfully evades all his blows and kicks him and uses that force to twist and turn in mid air directing a kick towards the direction of the one behind the massive guy but he swerves. And the fight begins : Amy starts engaging in one versus two combat kicking the less larger guy away and swerving the big guy's blows and eventually catches his arms and overpower him shocking the other guys watching from behind. Any then uses her fists to direct the guy's arms away from his body creating an opening to land a perfect barrage of blows and lands one massive uppercut sending the guy flying. The other guy also comes to attack again but Amy easily predicts his moves and actions swerving left, right and blocking his kicks and ducking his blows and makes her move easily overpowering him with a flurry of blows and kicks. The guy tries doing some exchanges but Amy easily takes him out. "You're good and were able to take out those two but playtime is over" One guy spoke looking as if he was the one who was commanding the team and he actually was. He then marched in with two other men and then they started attacking. One guy threw blades at Amy and another guy was swinging his sword towards her at the same instant simultaneously. But her super fast reactions helped her dodge and deflect some of the blades whiles clashing her small blade with the guy's katana. The guy who threw the blades then closed in and started attacking along with the other one who was their leader. Amy after some few clashes with the katana guy she moves away to intercept he attacks of the others,blocking two blows from one guy, instantly positioning her body sideways to block another flurry of blows coming from left,right,and straight directions and also intercepts and block a kick from the guy earlier and lands a blow on his gut and turns to land her elbow on the other guy but is blocked and she quickly straightens her arm and lands a blow on side of the face using the back of her fist. The katana guy moves in again swinging his katana left,right and thrusts it but Amy swerves only for the the katana to land on her shoulder. The katana guy noticing the opportunity tries to make a decisive move but Amy reads him and gets hold of his arm using her strength to pull the sword of her,gets the small blade and starts clashing with him with a little great piece of swordplay but their time is short as one of the other two moves in with a spin in the air landing a kick but Amy swerves beautifully only to go on offense mode on the leader punching him and turns to react to a small number of kicks and blows by blocking them. At the same time the leader also started attacking simultaneously with the other guy but Amy block blows and kicks and jumps into the air twisting away from them into the katana guy evading his slashes and uses her small blade to block his katana and drops it but picks it up that instantly before it even got near the ground and throws it upward into the guy's chest. She then turns to swerve a spin kick from the leader making him lose his balance by kicking his leg whiles landing. After she swerves a mid air twist landing kick from the other guy and delivers a beautiful and accurate spin kick on the guy's face knocking him down. Amy then distances herself from all the men she beat up saying "I expected more especially from you guys and now is time to tell me who you guys are and what you want from me" Amy asks thinking "I haven't had any interaction from anyone in the secret clans in years so who the hell are these people and what do they want". All five men stand up ready to hold their ground again. But Amy instantly drives into them kicking one and intercepting another's kicks and delivering a jumping kick to another guy's chest. She then turns and catches the kick of their leader specifically, drops his leg with strong force and and delivers a beautiful spin kick and she does a twisting turn in air landing a kick on the big guy from a different direction. Finally she finishes the fight by swerving a swing from the katana guy right after the kick to the big dude and gets hold of his arm and stomps his leg making him grunt in pain,dispossesses his katana and gives him a strong punch taking him down. "If you guys won't talk then I'm gonna make you talk" Amy threatens with a serious look in her eyes. "Damn she is too strong what do we do cap" The big dude asks still feeling the pain from the brutal blows he had received from Amy. "No if we stay in this situation for long we'll end up getting killed. Get your asses ready we are going escape mode" The leader commands. One of the men then rises up to challenge Amy but his aim was to cause a distraction. They threw smoke bombs after the guy stood and marched to Amy covering the area with a little smoke and creating the best chance for them to move through the dark shadowy alleys. Even tough Amy could have still seen them and track them even through the smoke decided to let it go for today. "What is their deal anyway. Is it that they are from one of the secret clans or they are part of a team against the clans and even so, why me" Amy asks herself trying to understand what was behind everything that happened moments ago. She checked her wrist watch and saw that she had classes to attend to so she left the dark spot she fought going back to her room . "Interesting" One guy speaks from the top of the building witnessing everything that happened. "I never expected this Felix" Mia states referring to what Amy had done just now. "If she even does more than that it would have been easier protecting the key but we just can't make her tap into the hidden power in her" Felix clarifies. " You're right we need to make sure protection is offered by all means so she doesn't awaken what's deep inside" Mia finishes making her leave with Felix. "I have class in the next forty five minutes what about you?" Felix asks."I have class in the afternoon" Khemia answers. "Okay. It would be nice to test some abilities here don't you think Mia?"Felix says walking over to the far end. He then vanishes ito thin air and in that instant he is on the ground showcasing his superhuman speed. "Nice, let me try and see" Mia says also dashing straight to the ground and touches a part of the cracked ground reforming the structure perfectly. "I guess some work for now" Mia reminds telling Felix that they should work more on their abilities.
