Thalia's POV
I couldn't help but smirk, and Kade saw it.
As I would expect, it didn't sit right with him and he tried studying my face even more.
"What's with the smirk?" He demanded.
Not a word left my lips, and this seemed to only make him more irritated.
After a few seconds of what seemed like an eternity of me combing through my memories just to make sure that I wasn't about to tell that man a bunch of nonsense, I was certain of the day that the rule was taught to us.
I was lucky to have been paying attention that day, because if I wasn't, it would've been over for me.
So, despite the weird feeling that I was experiencing making me desire Alpha Kade to put his hands on me,I couldn't let him have his way with me.
I repeated what I had said earlier, knowing that I was going to have some back up on that matter.
I went from "I don't think we can do this," to "You can't do this."
Kade's eyebrows were raised in surprise and then furrowed as he stared daggers through me.
