Silas sat beside Mirabelle, happily chewing away.
He no longer seemed nearly as disappointed about her rejecting his offer to "cheer her up" as he had been five minutes earlier.
Mirabelle, meanwhile, was still fascinated by how much she suddenly felt like herself again.
