An explosion suddenly rocked out, emanating from Thunderblade's body sending Ulric skidding backward as he stared as the transformation unfolded.
The air around the collapsed figure trembled violently before finally rupturing. Swathes of golden energy tore outward, flooding into Thunderblade's body in an entrancing manner. His form became covered in a radiant golden hue.
The waves of energy grew only more intense as the seconds slipped by, until they grew strong enough to lift his body into the air.
The process lasted for a couple of minutes before the energy slowly receded, lowering him back to the ground.
The moment the last drop of golden energy drilled into his body, an overwhelming aura ripped outward from Thunderblade, spreading for thousands of meters in an instant.
The sky above him erupted, raining wisps of golden energy wherever his aura reached, marking the birth of a C-rank being.
