His deep masculine voice sent sparks down her body. Butterflies erupted in her stomach at his choice of words. This was something Luna had never experienced before and it was the main reason why she had flee away from the corridor before they notice she was gone.
Luna panicked, "My-my aunt… I'm sure she must be looking for me and will be worried by now."
Alas, Luna regained her voice. Even so, she could not dare look up at him. He was standing too close. It was strange, the way his breath fanned her head. Luna wondered if it was morally acceptable for someone to be this close.
Draven chuckled at her excuse, there was just something with the way his lips lifted that made Luna look away, "You forgot to say thank you, My Lady." She could not help but to look up at him, the way he said those words felt like he really didn't care if she said thank you or not. It was just the way he said the my lady that got to her.
