Watanabe Yui opens the door and is shocked to see Hinata standing there.
Hinata: "Hello, Class President. It's me."
Watanabe Yui: "Hito Hinata! What are you doing here?"
Hinata: "I came to see you. Mr. Takahashi sent me; he was worried because you haven't been to school for quite some time."
Watanabe Yui: "I had some... personal reasons."
Hinata: "If it's truly a personal reason, I won't pry. But if you're skipping school because of that incident at the Rambo Cafe, let me tell you—that customer won't ever bother you again. You can return to school and your part-time job without fear."
Watanabe Yui: "What do you mean by that?"
Hinata: "Just that you should come back to school. The class needs you."
Watanabe Yui: "What I mean is... did you meet that customer? Did you hit him?"
Hinata: "Forget all that. Just tell me, are you coming back to school?"
Watanabe Yui: "I don't think I can."
Hinata: "What do you mean you can't come to school?"
Watanabe Yui: "The owner of the hotel where my dad worked in management went bankrupt and closed down. Now my dad is out of a job. I have to help out financially, so I've started working night shifts. The pay is better."
Hinata: "You're still a kid. How are you going to support them? Just go back to your part-time job and start attending school."
Watanabe Yui: "Why don't you understand?"
Hinata: "If your dad gets a job, will you start coming to school again?"
Watanabe Yui: "Yes."
Hinata: "You said your dad was in hotel management. So, what do you think about him working at the Rose Stars Restaurant?"
Watanabe Yui: "That's a seven-star restaurant! Do you really think he could get a job there?"
Hinata: "I think so. Or do you not have faith in your father?"
Watanabe Yui: "I have full faith in him! But is there even a position open there?"
Hinata: "Leave that to me. Just tell your dad to go to the Rose Stars Restaurant tomorrow at 11:00 AM and meet the manager. If he gets the job, you'll come back to school. Deal?"
Watanabe Yui: "Deal."
Hinata: "Good. I'm leaving now."
Watanabe Yui: "Okay, be careful. Some guys loiter around here at night."
Hinata: "Do they trouble people?"
Watanabe Yui: "No, they mostly just harass people who look scared at night."
Hinata: "I see."
Suddenly, Hinata realizes she didn't come alone—Hakuo is still waiting for her! She starts running back toward him.
The scene shifts to Hakuo, who is waiting for Hinata. After a while, a group of men, appearing to be between 23 and 27 years old, approach him. One of them asks aggressively, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
Hakuo simply ignores them.
Another man speaks up, "You look like a high schooler. What's your name?" When Hakuo doesn't answer, the man steps toward him angrily. Just then, Hinata comes running up and immediately checks on Hakuo to see if he's hurt.
From a distance, a mysterious figure is watching all of this.
Hinata: "Are you okay? Did they do anything to you?"
Hakuo: "No, I'm perfectly fine."
One of the men from the group sneers, "Oh, so you two are dating? Do you even know whose territory you're in?"
Hinata: "Let's go home, Hanako."
Hakuo: "Alright, let's go."
Suddenly, the person who was watching them from afar approaches. He places a hand on Hinata's shoulder and says: "Long time no see, Hinata."
