Give me your power stones before I come to your house to rob you. :p
.......
Allen exhaled softly, enjoying his day off as the cool breeze brushed gently against his face. For once, there were no blueprints in his hands, no reactor models glowing in front of himājust open sky and quiet laughter.
After they finished picking the apples they wanted, Raviel and Mikaela walked back toward him, the basket now filled with bright red fruit. They sat down on either side of him on the picnic blanket.
With casual ease, Raviel took out a small knife and began peeling one of the apples she had picked. Mikaela did the same, carefully slicing hers into neat pieces.
Without saying a word, they each held a slice up to Allen's lips.
He blinkedāthen slowly opened his mouth.
"So?" Raviel asked sweetly, bringing her slice a little closer. "Which one is sweeter, darling? The apple I picked⦠or the one Mikaela picked?"
Mikaela leaned in slightly from the other side. "Mine is obviously sweeter, right?"
Allen looked from one slice to the other⦠then at the two girls watching him expectantly.
They were clearly competing for his attention.
They're seriously competing over apples⦠how adorable, Allen thought to himself.
He leaned forward and took a bite from Raviel's slice first. He chewed thoughtfully, pretending to analyze it with complete seriousness.
"Mmm⦠sweet," he said calmly.
Then he turned and took a bite from Mikaela's slice.
"ā¦Also sweet."
Mikaela narrowed her eyes. "That's not an answer."
Raviel tilted her head slightly. "Yes, you have to choose."
Of course, this was a classic trap question.
Allen leaned back slightly between them, a faint, playful smile forming on his lips.
"I think," he said slowly, "they're both sweet⦠but not as sweet as the ones feeding me."
He delivered the answer smoothly, escaping their trap perfectly.
Both girls froze for half a second.
Then Mikaela looked away, her cheeks faintly red. "Tch⦠smooth talker."
Raviel only smiled softly, though the gentle warmth in her eyes revealed how pleased she was.
After that, the three of them simply sat there together, quietly sharing the sliced apples and a few sandwiches as sunlight filtered gently through the leaves above, the breeze drifting lazily around them.
Mikaela leaned back on her hands after finishing her slice, tilting her face slightly toward the sky. "We should do this more often," she murmured.
Raviel nodded softly, brushing a few crumbs from her skirt. "Yeah⦠I agree."
Allen lay back on the blanket, resting his head comfortably while glancing at the two of them from below. The orchard stretched quietly around them, branches swaying faintly in the wind.
"Hmmm⦠okay. Of course," Allen replied lazily, a small smile forming on his lips.
After that, none of them spoke.
There was only the soft rustling of leaves above them⦠the gentle sway of branches⦠and the calm rhythm of a day without urgency.
Mikaela shifted slightly closer, her shoulder brushing against his. Raviel adjusted the edge of the blanket so it covered them more comfortably. Small, wordless gestures.
After they finished their picnic, the three of them finally made their way back to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, by riding a single bike together.
Allen was the one pedaling, with both of his girls clinging to him possessively.
Mikaela sat behind him, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. She pressed herself against his back without hesitation, her soft chest molding against him as if she had no intention of ever letting go. Every slight bump on the road only made her cling closer.
"Hey, slow down a littleā¦" Mikaela said, her voice half teasing, half complaining, her warmth unmistakable against his back as her breath brushed the nape of his neck.
"Haha, okay, okay," Allen replied with a light laugh, slightly easing the speed.
Meanwhile, Raviel sat in front of him, facing him intimately, her arms loosely draped around his shoulders as if he belonged to herāand only her. With a playful smile, she lifted the remaining slice of apple to his lips and fed him slowly. When he took a bite, she didn't pull it away. Instead, she leaned in and bit into the exact same spot, her blue eyes shimmering mischievously as she tasted the sweetness he had just touched.
It was shameless.
Intimate.
Perfect.
And for Allenā
Today felt absolutely perfect.
As they rode along the quiet road, they passed several cows wandering lazily across their path. The animals let out soft moos as if they were greeting them, their calm voices blending naturally with the peaceful countryside atmosphere.
It almost felt like even the world itself was welcoming them, adding a simple, charming touch to their already perfect day.
Of course, that feeling made him want to sing during their ride.
"Raindrops are fallin' on my head~" Allen began, his voice surprisingly pleasant and smooth.
"And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed~" he continued, still pedaling casually.
When Mikaela and Raviel heard him start singing, they naturally joined in.
"Nothin' seems to fit~"
"Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'~"
The two girls swayed their heads playfully as they sang, their skirts fluttering slightly with the movement.
"So I just did me some talkin' to the sun~"
"And i said i didn't like the way he got things done"
"Sleeping on the job"
Those raindrop are faling on my head and they keep faling"
"But there one thing i know..."
In the end, all three of them sang together in the same tone, their voices blending in harmony as they continued enjoying their ride back.
And just like that, they kept singing, laughing, and savoring the simple happiness of their journey back.
...
Meanwhile, not long after they returned to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, Howard had already arrived and was looking for Allen everywhere. He hadn't been back for long, yet he was already eager to continue his research.
"Where is that kidā¦" Howard muttered as he strode quickly through the corridors.
He stopped by the cafeteria and looked around. "Where is he? Do you know where my assistant went?" he asked one of the guards on duty.
"Hmmm, sir⦠I think he's outside. Probably⦠enjoying himself," the soldier replied carefully.
Howard narrowed his eyes slightly before turning and heading outside.
After searching here and there, he finally stepped into the courtyardā
And there he saw Allen.
Allen was riding a bicycle back into the base, with both of his women clinging to him. Raviel sat in front, lightly holding onto him while casually finishing the remaining slice of apple. Mikaela sat behind him, hugging him tightly as they entered the base grounds happily.
They were laughing.
Laughing.
On government property.
Several single agents nearby watched with visible jealousy.
One soldier nudged his friend. "Bro⦠we're out here doing overtime and this guy's living in a romantic comedy."
Howard blinked twice.
Then he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted across the courtyard.
"Ohhh hey, love bird! Where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere! I need your help for a minute!"
Allen immediately turned toward the voice calling him and steered the bicycle closer to Howard without even getting off.
"Yoo, what's up, Director?" Allen replied smoothly. "Isn't it Sunday? Which means I'm legally off-duty."
He still hadn't stepped off the bicycle.
Raviel and Mikaela, for their part, made absolutely no effort to detach themselves.
Howard stared at the situation for a long second.
Then he sighed. "Yes, yes, I know it's Sunday. But this won't take long. I just need your brain for fifteen minutes."
Allen raised an eyebrow slightly. "Fifteen? Don't joke with me. The last time you said that, it turned into eight hours of nonstop work. Man, at this rate I'm going to start charging overtime."
"Fine," Howard replied without hesitation. "I'll add it to your salary."
After all, Howard Stark was many thingsābut stingy with his employees was not one of them.
"Tskā¦" Allen clicked his tongue before finally stepping off the bicycle.
"Fine. Fifteen minutes. But after that, I'm off the clock again."
Howard nodded quickly. "Deal."
"Work already?" said Mikaela while looked at Allen with a little disappointment because she seemed to still want to have fun and spend time with Allen.
"Sorry, love," Allen said gently before leaning in to kiss Mikaelaāthen Raviel as well.
The nearby soldiers looked even more devastated than before, some of them silently wishing for a minor lab accident to at least humble the man a little.
Raviel gave a small, understanding smile. "We'll wait in your room then honey"
Allen let out a dramatic sigh, though there was a faint grin on his face as he followed Howard toward the lab.
And just like thatāeven on a peaceful Sunday filled with apples and sunshineāthe Arc Reactor had once again found a way to call him back.
........
Not long after, Allen and Howard returned to focusing on their work. And just as Allen had expected, this wasn't something that would be finished quickly.
They had to rework the formula again to create the new elementāadjusting values, recalculating energy output, and stabilizing the structure from scratch.
"Ahhh⦠this is never going to end," Allen muttered under his breath, glancing at the clock.
3:00 PM.
Howard noticed the same time Allen was looking at, but he only smiled faintly and continued working as if nothing was wrong.
Then suddenly, the office telephone rang.
Howard immediately picked it up. "Hello? Howard speaking. Who is this?"
It was his wife.
"Howard, hurry. My water just broke. I'm on the way to the hospital."
Howard straightened instantly. "Ahāokay. I'm coming. I'll be there right away."
He hung up and quickly contacted Jarvis to prepare the car.
"What's wrong, Director?" Allen asked.
"My wife is about to give birth. I have to go," Howard replied while checking the clock again. "Oh, and help me find Dr. Zola. I also want an update on the Super Soldier serum he's been working on."
There were about twenty minutes before Jarvis arrived to pick him up.
Allen nodded. "Of course."
They left the lab together.
For Allen, however, this was also an opportunity.
If his calculations were correct, then the Avengers: Endgame timeline event was about to unfold.
Which meantā
Pym Particles.
He needed one sample.
He also has to go to the storage area later to stop Tony and Captain Rogers so he can get something valuable from them.
Like Tony's AI data. Friday's system framework. Nanotech information.
And a sample of Captain America's blood.
Without wasting time, Allen headed straight toward Dr. Pym's laboratory.
The room was relatively quiet.
He scanned the storage container.
The Pym Particles were still intact.
"Looks like he hasn't arrived yet," Allen said calmly.
Since nothing was missing, it meant the moment hadn't happened yet.
With swift and precise movements, Allen accessed the storage compartment, carefully extracting a single vial of Pym Particles before slipping it discreetly into his pocket.
No alarms.
No witnesses.
He immediately exited the lab and began heading toward the main storage area.
But as he turned down one of the corridorsā
He nearly bumped into a man wearing a cap pulled low over his face.
They passed each other in a brief moment of proximity.
Allen didn't even slow down.
He was in a hurry and barely gave the man a second glance.
Meanwhile, the man continued walking calmly in the opposite direction.
Neither of them reacted.
Neither of them spoke.
Allen didn't recognize him.
And because the man's face was partially obscured by the cap, Allen had no reason to suspect that he had just crossed paths withā
Captain Steve Rogers.
Allen finally made his way toward the warehouse, but it seemed he was slightly lateāTony and Howard had already met.
At the moment, Howard was unknowingly introducing himself to his own son.
Meanwhile, Allen continued walking through the vast warehouse, looking around as if searching for Tony's whereabouts.
"Do I know you?" Howard asked, holding a rose in his hand as he approached Tony.
"Hi, I'm a visitor from M.I.T," Tony replied, walking forwardāonly to bump into a chair because he was nervous about meeting his own father.
"Oh, M.I.T? What a coincidence. I actually have a young assistant who graduated from M.I.T right now," Howard said casually.
"By the way, do you have a name?" Howard asked.
"Howard," Tony answered nervously.
Howard nodded. "That'll be easy to remember. Howard."
"Potts," Tony quickly added as his last name.
"Well, I'm Howard Stark," Howard said, extending his hand for a handshake.
"Hi," Tony replied, but instead of properly shaking his hand, he awkwardly grabbed one of his father's fingers.
"Easy there. We're shaking hands, so please don't pull," Howard said dryly.
Just then, Allen finally arrived and spoke up casually,
"Hey, Howard."
Both men turned their heads toward him at the same time.
"Yes?"
"Yes?"
