She gently touched the tiny fox mark, unable to understand why it had appeared on her body. But it did look pretty cute, looking exactly like Veyra's beast form.

She raised her head and turned toward Veyra, waiting for an answer. However, Veyra was not able to provide her with one. He can only tell her when the mark had appeared; as for why, he knew no more than she did.
And for some reason, while explaining everything, he somehow did not dare to meet her eyes. Because of that, he missed the complicated expression appearing on her face while he was explaining the healing process.
She might have known what happened, though she's not exactly certain.
Then, after taking a deep breath, he finally spoke again.
"If you really don't want to form such a relationship with me, it's okay. I can teach you how to remove the mark after everything's over."
