Lohan lived his entire life in a hospital bed, needing machines even to breathe.

Then one day he woke up on a parallel Earth, where he had a perfectly functional body, but with the disadvantage of being from the Lower Zone, without the right of clean water to drink or pure oxygen to breathe, and with an huge debt in his name.

Fortunately, there was something that would change his destiny.

A new VRMMORPG had been released two days prior, and there, if someone put in the effort or was lucky enough to acquire a Rare Class or Race, their destiny could change overnight.

And Lohan was one of the lucky ones who not only achieved a race above the "Common" level, but the highest level available, a Mythical Race! And the most unbelievable thing is that his class, Devourer, was also a Mythical Class, something completely unimaginable.

The problem is that his race was that of a simple Slime!

Spawning in the middle of a forest, without any guide or tutorial, Lohan had to explore the potential that his Mythic Class and Race held.

Using the Absorption ability to devour enemies, steal stats, traits, and overcome any limit, the Slime evolved.

Ascending from the bottom of the food chain to become the Peak Predator of Elysium and the real world, defying the laws of both worlds while absorbing the powerful on a path to becoming the Absolute Being.

Welcome to live The Ultimate Slime Evolution.

"It's started," Lohan said directly into Lisa's mind, in a calm and steady voice. 'I'm fine. If I go quiet for a while, it's only because I'm concentrating, okay?'

Lisa leapt up from the nest of cushions, her ears raised on her head and her tails bristling, and Lohan felt her white light flare up, ready for anything.

But he had already positioned himself in the center of the room, pulled all the tentacles back into his mass, and let his body rest on the coating that covered the floor, as if lying down for an exam.

A second message appeared before him, denser than the first.

[Evolution of the Slime Race (Mythic) available.]

He read it and couldn't help but smile. Last time, the system had given him a seventy percent chance of dissolving into a puddle of gelatin with no return, and he had accepted anyway, because he'd had no choice.
