the cheats are mostly there because most MC's have the listed abilities just from being the MC so instead of the author pulling some random shit out there ass when they get the MC in a bad situation this way it is not random they have just had immunity to it from the start. also I know this would probably remove a lot of potential tension but they are the MC so they will always win anyway so I feel its better for the author to have a established way for the MC to escape those situations instead of just pulling the random BS I choses you move.
