Chapter 76 - Chapter 11: The Present Is Destroyed

The once-beautiful Paras City had become a broken wasteland. Buildings that once stood tall and proud now leaned like dying giants, their walls split open like deep wounds that would never close. Streets that used to be filled with people laughing and walking were now covered in glass shards that sparkled sadly under the gray morning light. Thick clouds of dust and smoke hung heavy in the air, making everything look dark and lifeless. The wind howled through the ruins, carrying the sharp smell of blood, burned metal, and the quiet sadness of everything that had been lost. In the middle of all this stood Dano's main ship, dark and tall like a monster that refused to leave. Other ships floated silently in the sky above, their long shadows stretching across the broken city like cold fingers. The air felt thick and heavy, as if the whole world was holding its breath, waiting for the final, heartbreaking end.

Dano stood right in front, his cruel smile never leaving his face. His orange-and-black striped fur caught the faint light, making him look like a hunter who had already won and was enjoying every second. Aika stood next to him, holding her staff so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her face showed a mix of duty and quiet horror at what was happening. Quan brushed dust off his clothes slowly, shadows still moving around his feet like restless ghosts. Esta stayed a step behind, head bowed low, his ice-blue eyes full of shame and regret. Diablo had landed with a heavy thud. His four huge demon wings were folded tightly behind him. His neon-crimson eyes stared at the ground. His gloved hands were clenched so hard the leather made a soft creaking sound. He had not moved since Dano gave the order. The weight of everything pressed down on him like heavy chains.

Blu stood in the middle of the remaining defenders. He clenched his fist harder than ever. Golden aura gathered around him, small blue sparkles dancing in the air like tiny desperate lights. His eyes snapped open, burning with anger and pain.

"You!"

He rushed forward at full speed.

Quan barely had time to react.

**Smash!!!**

A massive kick landed right on Quan's face. The force was so strong that Quan flew backward, crashing through two entire walls of a ruined building. Dust and pieces of concrete exploded outward as he fell to one knee, blood slowly dripping from his mouth.

Blu did not stop. He raised both hands and fired a storm of golden energy blasts.

Quan quickly used his shadow energy. A tall shadow spike shot up from the ground and blocked the attacks. The explosions lit up the sky with bright flashes and thick smoke.

Quan then whispered a spell. Two shadow monsters rose from the ground, roaring loudly as they charged at Blu.

Blu powered up. His body started smoking with golden energy. He punched and kicked both monsters, shattering them into black particles that faded away.

Quan teleported right behind Blu and grabbed him tightly by the neck.

Blu held Quan's hand, struggling hard to break free. He stretched his arm impossibly long, wrapped it around Quan from behind, and slammed him hard into a building.

Dust exploded everywhere.

Quan pointed his finger. Two spiraling shadow orbs shot forward fast.

Blu was ready to block them, but the orbs passed straight through him and exploded behind.

Blu's golden aura protected him from the worst of the blast, but the aura itself began to flicker and grow weaker.

He gathered his hands together and shouted.

"Divine Beam!"

A massive golden beam shot forward, cutting through the sky, smashing through buildings, and even hitting distant mountains.

Quan raised his hand and fired many beams of shadow.

The two powerful attacks crashed into each other with a huge explosion that shook the whole area.

Both Quan and Blu were pushed backward by the force, breathing hard, staring at each other with tired but determined eyes.

Blu launched a flying kick. Quan dodged it smoothly. Blu followed up by slamming Quan into the ground.

**Boom!**

The ground exploded again.

Quan was driven deep underground into darkness.

Quan looked around, confused and angry.

"Where am I currently?"

Blu teleported down and slammed a powerful punch. Quan blocked it, but Blu followed with a strong elbow to Quan's chest. Quan's protective shadow aura glowed brightly and blasted outward, forcing Blu back. Blood trickled from Blu's lips.

Quan teleported and delivered two hard punches to Blu's body. Blu slid through a ruined building, dodging the strikes, then jumped from the wall and fired many blasts at Quan.

Quan dodged them all and quickly opened a portal.

Blu stopped for a split second.

"What…?"

He was forced into the portal.

The portal opened on the other side and threw Blu straight into a volcano crater. His aura flared even brighter as he teleported back, grabbed Quan's leg, swung him around, and hurled him into a mountain.

Quan crashed hard into a cave inside the mountain.

Blu's eyes glowed golden. He teleported into the cave and unleashed a storm of punches.

Quan blocked every single one perfectly, his face showing no fear.

Quan did a series of quick backflips and kicked Blu three times, the final kick landing hard on Blu's jaw.

Quan's body split into shadows. He appeared behind Blu and kicked him out of the cave.

Blu tumbled down the mountain at terrifying speed. He managed to steady himself in mid-air and looked up at Quan.

Quan gathered both hands. Shadows spiraled around him like a living storm.

Quan's voice echoed with dark power.

"This is what I call… Shadow Prison—"

Instantly, massive shadow pillars rose from the ground and formed a dark prison around Blu.

Blu was trapped inside.

A sudden spike shot out and stabbed into his hand. Blu groaned in pain, his face twisting.

His golden aura tried to leak through the bars but could not escape the thick darkness.

Blu used all his strength and broke the bars apart, rushing straight at Quan.

Quan smirked coldly.

"Fight in rhythm if you want to survive…"

He snapped his finger.

Massive spikes appeared everywhere around Blu.

Blu dodged them all with incredible skill, flipping, sliding, and smashing through them. He teleported and punched Quan hard in the face.

A shadow hand erupted from the ground, grabbed Blu's hand, and slammed him down hard.

Quan looked down at Blu, breathing heavily.

"You weren't that strong after all… You are just an alien president… You don't understand battle strategies."

Blu raised his head slowly. Blood was on his lips, but he smiled through the pain.

"Well… I am not just a president after all."

He teleported and slammed a glowing golden orb onto Quan's skin.

Quan looked surprised.

"What's that?"

**BOOM!!!!**

The orb exploded in a massive golden aura that completely destroyed Quan's domain and gave Blu full control over time and space for a moment.

Time slowed down to a crawl — a thousand times slower.

Shadows stopped moving and became almost frozen.

Blu snapped forward, powered up stronger than ever, and unleashed every attack he had — punches, blasts, waves, everything.

Blue and golden sparkles mixed together in a beautiful but deadly storm.

Time returned to normal. Space settled back.

Quan was knocked backward by the nonstop barrage. Punches, blasts, and waves hit him one after another. Massive explosions chained together like fireworks of destruction.

Even the broken domain shook and started to fall apart.

Blu smiled, breathing hard but determined.

Quan backed off, coughing, and fired many spiraling shadow attacks.

Blu dodged them all and reflected one shadow blast straight back at Quan.

It hit Quan for a brief moment, blinding him.

In that opening, Blu teleported and unleashed a storm of beams.

But the beams suddenly reversed and struck Blu instead. He fell to his knees, pain shooting through his body.

Quan's voice was cold and mocking.

"You don't know about this domain, do you? It has many possible ways to attack you."

A spiraling shadow blast appeared near Blu out of nowhere.

Blu was thrown backward by the force.

Black lightning struck him from above.

Quan rushed forward and punched hard.

Blu blocked the punch and slid back across the ground.

The shadows shaped themselves into a huge mountain.

Blu slid to one side while Quan slid to the other.

Blu fired blasts. Quan created a sword and reflected them back.

Then Quan threw the sword into the shadow waves.

The waves roared and formed a massive tail that slammed down on Blu.

Blu blocked it with his leg and fired a powerful blast from his mouth.

The blast was so heavy that the shadow mountain shattered completely.

Shadow particles formed into orbs, then rods, raining down on Blu like deadly spears.

Blu placed his hand on the ground. Behind him, a golden aura shone brightly.

Golden tridents rained down from the sky, clashing with the shadows in a series of huge explosions.

The blast completely broke the domain apart.

Blu landed a hard punch on Quan's abdomen.

Quan coughed up blood.

Blu followed with many more blasts.

Aika noticed the fierce battle while still fighting Honokage and Yuki.

Suddenly—

Aika teleported in and blocked the explosions with her magic wall.

The attacks exploded, covering the sky with thick smoke.

Aika swung her staff, her voice firm and protective.

"I don't let you hurt him…"

Honokage and Yuki teleported behind Blu, ready for the fight.

The sky cracked with lightning.

Honokage noticed something was very wrong.

Suddenly, Aika fell to one knee, blood spilling from her mouth.

Quan turned instantly, his face filled with shock and fear.

"Aika!!! What happened to youuu!??"

Suddenly Quan felt a presence behind him.

Dano walked forward slowly, his steps calm but terrifying.

Dano's voice was smooth and mocking.

"Well well done, my pets… You have done too good a job."

He raised his hand casually.

Aika's staff shattered into pieces instantly. She collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

Quan's eyes widened in pure terror.

"My Lord!! What are you doing!??"

He clenched his fist, voice shaking with disbelief and pain.

Dano smiled, a cold, menacing smile that sent chills through everyone.

"Your job is now done… I don't need any of you anymore."

Yuki stepped forward, her voice filled with outrage and sadness.

"That's totally unfair! You used your own people!"

Dano raised his hand without even looking at her.

Instantly, Yuki was slammed backward into a broken wall. Blood spilled from her mouth in slow motion.

"I didn't give you permission for arguing."

Dano's crimson eyes glowed with dark power.

Quan broke into a cold sweat.

"So you betrayed us!?! How could you—"

He suddenly fell to one knee, coughing blood violently, his body shaking.

Dano leaned closer to Quan, their eyes meeting.

Dano gave a menacing smile.

"What did you think? We are family? Never… You worked for me. I spared your life. That's it. Now your work is done and your life is no longer meaningful."

Quan's voice was weak and broken.

"No…"

His shadow eyes shone with desperation. He gritted his bloody teeth, fighting back tears.

Blu teleported in and landed a powerful punch.

Dano caught Blu's hand mid-air and crushed it with terrifying strength.

Blu shouted in pain, his face twisting.

Dano kicked him hard, sending him flying backward.

Honokage's voice rang out with worry and anger.

"President Blu!"

He charged forward, lightning crackling around him like a storm. He unleashed a barrage of punches, lightning waves shooting one after another.

Dano dodged them casually, hands still in his pockets, reflecting some waves with a simple flick of his tail. He climbed up the side of a ruined building and delivered a spinning kick wrapped in crimson flame slash.

The attack hit Honokage directly, knocking him out through the ground and creating a massive crater.

Dano raised his hand, blood dripping from it.

"Whoever tries to stop me, they will get wiped out — whatever or whoever they are."

He closed his hand into a fist and teleported.

In an instant, he punched Blu's abdomen with a hand covered in crimson energy.

Blu's golden energy faded instantly. He collapsed to the ground, blood pooling beneath him.

Yuki's eyes opened slightly. Through her blurred vision, she saw Honokage punching Dano with full rage, lightning exploding around him.

Honokage roared, his leviathan rage erupting with massive lightning. He landed attack after attack — punches, beams, strikes — everything he had.

Dano dodged them all effortlessly, swinging his tail, bending his body, moving with mocking ease.

Dano's voice was calm and mocking.

"That's all you got? Cursed spirit…"

He caught Honokage's hand and delivered a devastating punch to his abdomen.

The punch exploded with a powerful shockwave. The ground around them shattered, nearby areas collapsing.

Honokage fell to one knee, blood dripping from his nose onto the broken ground.

Yuki whispered weakly, her voice trembling with fear and love.

"Hono-kun…"

Dano turned away from Honokage without another glance.

He looked at Quan and Aika.

"As I said… now both of your powers and life are mine!"

He raised his palm.

Energy gathered rapidly.

Quan and Aika began to fade into black and white pieces, spiraling around Dano.

Dano's crimson aura exploded outward, growing twenty times stronger than before.

Shadow and magical powers merged with his primordial tiger strength.

The entire Earth shook violently.

Dano threw his head back and laughed loudly.

"Yes!! Yesssss!!"

His evil laughter echoed across the ruined city.

Even Diablo and Esta stepped back, grief clear on their faces.

Black and white aura swirled around Dano.

"I have got it! The art of shadows and the magic source!"

He turned his gaze to the ground.

Uraka lay dead.

Yuki was still badly injured.

Honokage was on one knee.

Blu was barely conscious, blood covering the ground around him.

Honokage raised his head slowly, eyes catching the terrifying glow.

"Is that… really the end?"

Yuki opened her tearful eyes, voice breaking with sadness.

"No… it cannot be the end…"

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Astra… we need you please… Don't let the world be destroyed so easily… We have memories… We lived together…"

Dano raised his palm.

"Be prepared… for soul erase."

A silver-black energy attack gathered in his palm, growing bigger and bigger until it became a massive, world-ending force.

Dano smirked and fired it.

Esta and Diablo teleported away, but grief still weighed heavily on their hearts.

The alien army retreated from Earth's atmosphere.

Yuki's vision began to fade. She became blind to the present, seeing only memories.

The day she met little Astra… giving him the name Astra… playing the role of big sister… training under Sensei Sai… releasing Honokage from her body… going to the zoo together… the Bermuda Triangle days… watching Astra grow… the tournament… the Tokyo vacation… her peaceful life with Honokage after marriage… her concerts as an idol…

Tears flowed like a broken fountain.

Yuki whispered, voice full of pain and love.

"Is this all worthless…? Roleplaying as big sister… taking care of you, Astra… Astra, you didn't come here…"

Her tears evaporated before they could hit the ground.

"I don't want to die… I don't want to get erased… I want to live more… with my husband Honokage… with my brother Astra… Please… don't erase me… don't erase us…"

The attack finally hit.

A massive explosion erupted.

Yuki's skin began to glow and turn into dust.

Uraka, Blu, Honokage… even Yuki herself…

They were all erased.

The entire city exploded in a chain of black-and-white energy.

Trees, buildings, animals — everything was wiped out into nothingness.

They were gone. Forever. From existence. From the story. Even their memories were erased with them.

A massive nuclear cloud rose into the sky.

The wind blew harder than ever.

Paras City had become a plain wasteland.

Once there were towering buildings, President Blu working in his office, Honokage and Yuki walking through the streets, concerts lighting up the night, Uraka and Wano talking in the jungle, Yuki's warm house…

Everything was gone.

Only white dust spiraled in the sky.

Esta and Diablo teleported back and stood beside Dano.

A heavy **thud** echoed through the wasteland.

Astra appeared.

His face was filled with pure terror.

Astra whispered, voice shaking.

"I am…"

"Too late."

Dano raised his hand and fired a black-and-white beam.

Taiyo had just landed.

The beam pierced straight through her chest.

Astra's eyes shrank instantly in horror.

He caught her by the waist as she began to fall.

In her final moments, Taiyo smiled weakly.

"That's what I could give you… Now you have to face everything by yourself… Please don't lose."

She turned into golden dust that shaped itself like beautiful butterflies, fluttering gently around Astra before fading away.

Astra's silver eyes were filled with terror and grief.

Dano smirked from afar.

"Ahahahahaha! Ares… or Astra… You are too late, boy!! Blu, Honokage, Uraka, even your sister Yuki… are all dead."

Astra turned toward him.

Their eyes met perfectly.

Esta and Diablo stood beside Dano, ready for the fight.

Astra whispered, voice low and dangerous, lightning beginning to crackle around him as rain started to pour.

"Erased…?"

Lightning ran across the sky.

Rain poured down heavily.

Astra's battle dress and hair became soaked.

His silver eyes glowed through the darkness.

His divine silver flaming aura began to rise.

His hands clenched so tightly that blood slowly seeped between his fingers.
