Chapter 57 - Morning Calculus

Dennis's POV

I woke to warmth on both sides of my body and the faint, sticky pull of skin that had dried together overnight.

Gordon was on my left, cheek pressed to my pectoral, one arm slung loosely across my stomach. His calloused fingers twitched against my ribs in whatever dream he was chasing. William was on my right, face half-buried in the hollow beneath my collarbone, breath slow and even, his dark hair fanned out and crusted at the tips where it had dragged through things I was choosing not to catalog before coffee.

I didn't move. Not yet.

The master suite was enormous, four-poster California king dominating it that I have been meaning to get replaced with something bigger much bigger maybe a Family Bed XL or Alaskan king, floor-to-ceiling windows curtained in heavy navy velvet that let in thin blades of early morning Manhattan light. The sheets were destroyed. There was no polite way to put it. They looked like a Jackson Pollock in shades of white and off-white, and the room smelled like sex, sweat, ozone, and the lingering ghost of Gordon's rosemary butter, which had apparently seeped into his pores so thoroughly it survived a shower.

I turned my head to the right, past William's sleeping form, and saw the situation on the other half of the bed.

Scott and Frank were tangled together like they'd collapsed mid-wrestle. Scott lay on his back, one thick arm curled around Frank's shoulders, his broad chest rising and falling in the deep, rumbling rhythm that meant this wolf was fully at rest. Frank was on his side, face pressed into Scott's neck, one leg thrown over the werewolf's thigh with a possessiveness that would have been surprising six days ago and was now just *Frank*. Both of them were still naked, and the evidence of their night was painted across them in generous, dried streaks. Chests. Stomachs. The curve of Scott's hip. The small of Frank's back.

I let myself smile.

Frank had really done it. He'd taken my earlier words to heart and, with the blunt ruthless efficiency that defined everything he did, had looked Scott dead in the eye and told him to show him what that wolf dick could do, promising to return the favor. Scott's tether had spiked with raw, shock that then transitioned to delighted shock and anticipation that I'd felt it clear as day across the bed where I was buried to the hilt inside William. But I wasn't surprised as my first recruited lover has been with me for almost three weeks he has long since been completely corrupted. There was no one he wasn't able or willing to fuck at this point even if I put his father or say Stiles in front of him that would just turn him on more then regularly. The shock hadn't lasted long either. Judging by the sheer volume of noise that followed, the dried mess covering both of them from collar to thigh, and the rolling waves of savage pleasure that had flooded through both their tethers for the better part of a hour and a half, they'd found their rhythm fast and hard and weren't going to need an instruction manual for the repeat performance I fully intended to schedule.

I looked down at my two sleeping lovers.

William and Gordon were completely unconscious. Not surprising. Just like Duke before them, I had drained them dry, taking turns riding and fucking them until exhaustion hit like a freight train. William had lasted longer, the Rank Three boost giving his stamina real teeth, but Gordon was a normal human whose only enhancement was the baseline Rank One tether, and he had still gone four rounds before his body simply quit. Impressive. I made a mental note to tell him so later.

The Ambrosia passive had been the real revelation.

I'd tested it again deliberately, letting both of them swallow two full loads apiece, and the system had not been underselling the effect. Gordon, the first to taste it, had frozen with my cock still in his mouth, eyes going impossibly wide, and then a sound had come out of him that I could only describe as *religious*. He told me later, in a voice shaking so badly the words barely held together, that it tasted like his grandmother's treacle tart, the one she'd made every Christmas when he was a boy in Stratford-upon-Avon, warm and golden and so perfect it made his chest ache. He'd orgasmed untouched the instant it hit his tongue. Just from the taste.

And then he'd begged. Actual tears rolling down his cheeks, hands gripping my thighs, voice cracking on the word please like it was being torn out of him with pliers. He wanted more. He needed more. When I let him have the second load he latched on so hard I had to physically pry him off afterward, and even then he kept licking his lips, chasing the ghost of the flavor, making a sound like a man getting a fix after days without.

I'd cupped his face, wiped the tears with my thumbs, and told him the truth. More would come, but only as rewards. Work hard, cook brilliantly, serve the Pack, and I would feed him again.

The look on his face had been a masterpiece of contradictions. Joy that the door was open. Devastation that it wasn't open now. He'd nodded, swallowed hard, and then thrown himself into the rest of the night with a ferocity that suggested he intended to earn his next taste before sunrise.

William's reaction had been quieter but no less intense. His mother's hot chocolate again, just like in the garage, but deeper this time, richer, and the bond between us had hummed with a warmth that went beyond lust into something that felt uncomfortably close to home.

I filed it all away. The Ambrosia skill was a weapon, a reward system, and a loyalty engine rolled into one, and I was going to use it ruthlessly.

Now, though, I needed to move.

I eased Gordon's arm off my stomach with careful pressure, slid William's head onto a pillow with the gentleness of defusing a bomb, and extracted myself from the tangle of limbs and ruined sheets without waking either of them. They both murmured, shifted, and settled. Gordon's hand found William's wrist and curled around it in sleep, and something about the unconscious gesture made a possessive satisfaction bloom behind my sternum.

Mine.

I padded naked across the hardwood to the en suite bathroom, closed the door, and turned the shower to scalding. Steam billowed. I stepped under the water and let it sluice away the night.

That was when the previously ignored notifications hit.

The Succubus God System interface materialized in the corner of my vision, translucent gold text scrolling against the fog.

LEVEL UP: Level 5 → Level 6. All base attributes increased. Chi reserves expanded.

I blinked water out of my eyes. Nice.

SKILL LEVEL UP: Sexual Inducement — Level 5 → Level 6. Potency increased. Recovery window decreased. Multi-target efficiency improved.

SKILL LEVEL UP: Aura Manipulation — Level 5 → Level 6. Range and granularity enhanced. Passive ambient influence radius expanded.

Two critical skills jumping simultaneously. That explained why the room had felt so saturated last night, why Gordon had broken so fast, why even William with his fresh Rank Three resilience had eventually folded sooner than he should have. My output was scaling faster than I'd anticipated.

The next notification was the one I cared about most.

SEX POINTS EARNED (Group Session — Master Suite): 760 SP

Note: Orgy multiplier applied. However, points are lower than what they should be because the user did not directly participate in all concurrent sexual activity nor in contributing to the orgasms of Life Partners Scott McCall and Frank Castle. Maximum potential yield was not achieved. Recommendation: direct participation with all parties in future group sessions for optimal harvest and if not possible attempt to use skills like Sexual Inducement to increase their pleasure to compensate.

I snorted, reaching for the shampoo. Fair enough. By the time I'd finished with William and Gordon, Scott and Frank had been on their last legs anyway, a tangle of heavy breathing and twitching muscles and the kind of boneless satisfaction that meant they were seconds from passing out. Interrupting them for point optimization would have been poor taste in my opinion. But the system had a point. Future orgies would need better choreography.

Current Sex Point Total: 1,740 SP.

I let that number sit in my mind as I scrubbed shampoo through my hair. Seventeen hundred. Not enough for the top-shelf magic users, Zatanna sat at six thousand and Dr. Fate was even higher, but enough for lower mid-tier options and a comfortable buffer for emergencies but even then they weren't my priority right now. The half-price sale ran until Monday noon. I had today, tomorrow, Sunday and part of Monday to grind and shop before the window closed.

I rinsed, shut off the water, and toweled dry. The closet was a walk-in the size of a studio apartment, and I dressed with purpose. Dark jeans that sat low on my hips. A black fitted t-shirt that showed every line the Level Six upgrade had sharpened. Leather jacket. Sneakers. Backpack with the textbooks I'd need for today Legion had prepped sometime yesterday.

School. Right. Because apparently even nascent gods had to sit through AP Chemistry.

I checked my reflection. The shapeshifting upgrade finally let me dial back the supernatural edge to my looks just enough, a fraction less sharpness to the jaw, the faintest dulling of the green in my eyes, enough to pass for an unusually attractive seventeen-year-old instead of something that made people forget how to breathe or got propositioned far to often in bathrooms basically going from a 12 to a 9.5. Satisfied, I grabbed the backpack and slipped out of the master suite.

The mansion even with all the new occupants was quiet at this hour. Staff moved in the distance, soft footsteps and the clink of silverware being laid. The scent of fresh coffee and frying bacon drifted up the stairwell, and my stomach growled with very human enthusiasm.

I was halfway down the main staircase when I felt him.

The tether registered first, a deep, banked heat like standing near a forge, followed by the sound of heavy footsteps on the landing below. Enji Todoroki rounded the corner and stopped when he saw me, one massive hand resting on the banister. He was dressed in civilian clothes that Legion and Alfred must have hastily provided overnight, dark slacks and a charcoal button-down that strained heroically across his shoulders but was at least two sizes to small. The flames that usually wreathed his face were completely suppressed, and without them he looked even younger then the bond made him before, almost approachable, though *approachable* was a relative term for a man who could bench-press a sedan.

"Morning," I said, waiting for him to descend to meet him.

"Good morning." His voice was deep, careful, the voice of someone still calibrating how much deference to show. His tether pulsed with a complicated tangle of emotions: respect shading toward something warmer, residual discomfort with the harem dynamics he'd witnessed, a fierce protective instinct that the bond was steadily redirecting from his old agency to the Pack, and beneath it all, a quiet, almost surprised contentment.

I fell into step beside him as we headed toward the first-floor dining room, the one reserved for Rank Two and above. The second-floor dining space would be bustling with Rank One personnel by now.

"How are you settling in?" I asked. Casual. Direct.

Enji considered the question with the gravity of a man being asked to assess a battlefield. "The bed is comfortable. The shower has excellent water pressure. Your man Alfred appeared at my door at six with a borrowed pressed shirt, pants and coffee before I had finished dressing." A pause. "I have not been attended to like that since I was a boy in my father's house."

"Alfred has that effect. He anticipates needs before you know you have them."

"Mm." Enji's jaw worked. Then, quieter: "The fire. I'm not used to how different it is here."

I glanced at him. "Different how?"

"Calmer." He flexed his right hand, and for a moment a lick of orange flame curled between his fingers before he closed his fist and snuffed it. "In my world, my Quirk was always a pressure. A furnace that needed constant venting or it would consume me from the inside. Here, since the bond, the heat still answers when I call it, but it does not push. It waits." He looked at his hand. "I slept six uninterrupted hours last night. I have not done that in over a decade."

Something in his voice made me slow my pace. The tether between us shimmered, and I let a thread of warmth flow through it, not Aura, not command, just acknowledgment.

"The bond strengths your ability to regulate your output," I said. "It acts like a governor on the furnace. You can still go full power when you need to, but the baseline burn rate drops. Less waste heat. Less strain on your body."

Enji absorbed that in silence. We reached the first-floor dining room, a smaller, more intimate space than the grand hall upstairs, long round table in dark walnut, seating for twenty, morning light pouring through arched windows. Alfred had already laid places for twelve, though only a few were occupied. Jack Reacher sat in the corner with black coffee and a thousand-yard stare that was really just his default expression. Shota Aizawa was slumped in the adjacent chair with his capture scarf bunched under his chin like a pillow, eyes closed, a full plate of eggs untouched in front of him.

I took my seat at the head. Enji settled two chairs to my left, and a maid appeared instantly with coffee, eggs, bacon, toast, and a bowl of fruit that looked like it had been styled for a magazine cover.

"Enji," I said, pouring cream into my coffee. He looked up. "After school today, I want you in the Sublevel Two lab with Ray and Ronnie. They're designing the new HQ tower. Your Hellfire has thermal properties that could solve three of their structural problems. I want you consulting."

His eyes widened fractionally. The tether flared with surprise, then with something fiercer, a hunger to be *useful* that I recognized intimately because it was the same hunger that had driven him to push his wife and children beyond breaking in another life.

"I am not an engineer," he said carefully.

"No. You're a man who has spent thirty years learning exactly how fire interacts with steel, concrete, and human flesh. That makes you the best thermal consultant on the planet. Ray will handle the math. You handle the fire."

He held my gaze for a long moment. Then he nodded, once, sharp, and something in his posture shifted. Straighter. Steadier. The bond between us settled into a new configuration, warmer and more solid, like a beam locking into place.

"Understood," he said.

I smiled, bit into my toast, and mentally reviewed the day ahead. School until three. Tactical meeting at four. Seventy-two days until the sky split open. Seventeen hundred and forty points and a sale clock ticking down.

Plenty of time to build a god's empire.
