"The second Princess Royal?" Eclipse said with a smile, "she is an… interesting person."
Malric's expression held the kind of rage Eclipse was familiar with. The kind of rage that came with messing with one's family.
It so happened to be a rage she was familiar with.
Eclipse chuckled. "Your majesty's mind wanders far. Your sister is far more intelligent and knowledgeable than she lets on. So far, she has not dropped any big secret on how I am to permanently win a place by your side," she said, going for the humour.
It eluded Malric because his dark expression did not melt in the least.
"That is except for telling me that I have the permission to go for your heart." She inserted with a light chuckle.
Malric whipped the coin from thin air, rolling it on the table while he leaned in towards her.
"My heart?"
She leaned down. "Indeed. Your heart."
