Flint hadn't expected his best friend to actually come to him. He'd previously assumed she'd be on a blind date with another man all day. Initially, he'd kept a gloomy expression all day, but now he greeted her with a happy smile. Even though his best friend had been on a blind date all day, he didn't care. The important thing was that his best friend still cared about him and truly kept his promise.
Ellen immediately ran over to her friend, carrying a transparent cake box. She placed the box on the table and pulled out a chair. She was still out of breath from running all the way to the restaurant. Watching her friend start to finish her dinner made her lips pout instantly.
"Flint, you're so cruel to start dinner without waiting for me!"
"Shouldn't you still be on your blind date? That's why I decided to spend dinner without you," Flint replied with an innocent look.
Ellen took a deep breath. "I haven't been on blind dates all day."
