Mount Justice.
"This will be your base of operations from now on," Batman said as he turned to the kids, who looked at the place in amazement.
"This is the secret sanctuary? Man, those League guys sure love their caves," Kid Flash muttered to Robin.
"Actually, it was the Justice League's original headquarters, but it got compromised, so they abandoned it for the Watchtower. The location is still an absolute secret, though. Plus, it's a cave! Hiding in plain sight," Robin said to him. Kid Flash made an "oh..." sound.
"That's enough," Batman said, interrupting the boys' conversation. Then he pointed at the red robot with a blue cape—Red Tornado—and Black Canary. "Red Tornado has volunteered to live here. He'll be your supervisor, and Black Canary will train you in combat," Batman said. "I, on the other hand, will be the one to give you missions. Am I clear?"
"Yes, sir!" the four teens responded.
Batman nodded, then turned to the base Zeta-Tube.
"Let me introduce you to someone."
Just as his voice fell, the Zeta-Tube flashed with a white light, its voice booming through the cave.
[Recognized: Martian Manhunter, A-07. Access granted.]
Martian Manhunter and a green-skinned, blonde female stepped out of the light.
"Meet your new team member."
"Hi, I'm M'gann M'orzz, but you can call me Megan," the girl said with a smile.
"Hey, beauty," Kid Flash scooted close to her side, wriggling his eyebrows. "Name's Wallace Rudolph West, but you can just call me Wally."
"Hello," Megan smiled at him.
"My name is Kaldur'ahm."
"Name's Gogeta."
"Robin."
"...Superboy."
"That's enough team-building for now. I'll contact you for your next mission. Until then, continue your training," Batman said as he walked to the Zeta-Tube, then turned back. "...Remember, I do not want the Cadmus incident to repeat itself."

After the introduction to their base, days passed by.
Beep! Beep!
Gogeta slammed his alarm clock and lazily stood up.
"Another day. Hope we'll be given a mission," Gogeta muttered as he lazily levitated from his bed to the bathroom to freshen up.
He had learned to fly on the third day after opening his eyes in this world—possessing the memories of the fusion between Vegeta and Goku, his ki control was extremely precise. Though he hadn't learned the two famous techniques—Kamehameha and Galick Gun—which, surprisingly, seemed vague in his head.
After freshening up, he left his room and levitated to the living room, where Superboy sat on a couch and Megan stood behind the kitchen counter with an apron; the smell of breakfast wafted through the air.
"That smells good," Gogeta said with a smile.
"Good morning," Megan greeted him.
"Morning," he returned the greeting and drifted towards Superboy. "Hey."
Superboy raised his head, looked at him, huffed, and turned back to watching the TV.
"Why so angry?" Gogeta muttered and sat on the couch, stretching. "Ah! I'm so bored. No sign of a mission yet?"
"None," Megan replied as she arrived with breakfast on a tray.
Placing it on the table, she sat on the couch beside theirs.
Gogeta took a cookie and ate it, a "hmm" slipping out of his mouth. "Great!" He gave her a thumbs-up and dug in.
Megan beamed, then turned to Superboy, but he ignored her, his focus on the TV.
She visibly deflated. Gogeta, who had been watching the exchange subtly, plopped another cookie into his mouth and turned to her.
"Hey, I heard you're new to Earth?" he asked.
"Mhm."
"Then, since we have nothing to do, how about we go out? Just the three of us. What do you guys say?"
"I think that's great!" Megan said as she clapped her hands.
"...."
The two turned and stared at Superboy eagerly, only to receive:
"I'm not going," from him.
Gogeta shrugged. "Well, your life."
He ate another cookie and stood up, turning to Megan. "Come on, let's go."
Megan finally tore her gaze from Superboy to Gogeta. "Okay."

"Why does Superboy treat me like that... does he hate me?" Megan asked, turning to Gogeta.
The two were currently flying through the island forest.
"Well, think of him as a tsundere cat—proud and shy. He can't express his feelings," Gogeta said with a smile.
"I see," Megan sighed. "I genuinely thought that he hated me. It's a relief, then."
Gogeta almost fell from the sky as Megan's voice came directly into his head.
"What was that?!" he asked in shock.
"Eh? That's how we talk on Mars," Megan said.
"...."
"It's actually cool and all, but I hope you'll at least inform me before you do it again."
"Mhm," Megan nodded in agreement.
"Come on! We aren't coming back till I'm exhausted!" Gogeta said and shot forward, with Megan following behind.
Gogeta and Megan, the two newcomers to this world, Happy Harbor, were like country bumpkins. Every little thing caught their attention, though Gogeta, having once lived on an alternate Earth, was more grounded. Megan wasn't like that.
Dragging him through the streets of Happy Harbor, she saw and bought a lot of things.
By the time the sun went down, the two flew back to the base.
"So, how is it? Earth, I mean," Gogeta asked.
"It's nice," she replied. "Thanks for accompanying me."
"It's nothing. I also felt like I needed to step out. I mean, I've been cooped up in the mountain for too long," Gogeta said, causing Megan to giggle.
The front entrance opened, and they stepped inside. Walking to the living room, they saw Superboy still sitting on the couch, watching TV.
"Hey, we brought souvenirs!" Gogeta said as he raised the bag he was holding.
"I don't want souvenirs!" Superboy said, glared at Gogeta, and turned back to watching his TV.
Gogeta rolled his eyes, placed the bag on the kitchen counter, and waved at Megan behind him as he walked away.
"See you later. Gotta go train," he said and left.

The next day, the initial members of the Young Justice team arrived at Mount Justice.
"Any mission?"
Immediately after they met at the front entrance, Robin asked.
"None. Red Tornado said he'd inform us if Batman has any, but, well..." Gogeta said with a shrug.
" Arrow was right. They do treat us like kids," Kaldur'ahm said with a frown.
Just then, Red Tornado descended from the sky.
"Hey, Red Tornado! Any mission?" Robin asked.
"I'm afraid not. Batman hasn't contacted me," Red Tornado said as he walked past the teens.
"....."
"I know! How about we introduce you guys to the cave? Gogeta and I have been exploring it since we started living here," Megan said with a smile.
"Sure. As long as we can be together," Wally said with a smile.
"Then I'll show you..."

Ten minutes later.
The team emerged from the base's back entrance.
"And this is the base's back entrance," Megan said as she turned, looked at the team with a smile, only to see their bored expressions.
"Ugh, we really need a mission. I'm feeling rusty," Robin groaned.
"Tell me about it," Gogeta chimed in, sharing Robin's feeling.
"Hello, Megan!" Megan lightly tapped her head. "I have the perfect thing to kill the boredom! Come on! I'll show you!"
The group looked at each other and followed her.
"This is my Bio-Ship," Megan said to the group as she pointed at a red sphere with a proud smile.
"Uh... I really don't want to hurt your feelings, but I don't see how this can cure our boredom," Wally said.
"It's asleep, silly!" Megan smiled and turned to the ship with closed eyes.
Hum!
The sphere compressed, then widened and elongated, slowly turning into a sleek red ship.
"Whoa! It's beautiful!" Wally said with a whistle.
"Come on! I'll show you inside," Megan said with a smile, then led them inside.
Inside the cabin, the ground squirmed, and five seats formed, with one in the center flanked by two orbs.
"I'm... actually impressed," Robin said as he looked around.
Megan giggled. "This isn't all."
The five sat down in their seats.
"Red Tornado, open Mount Justice," Megan said. Above, the ceiling opened, revealing the azure blue sky.
Hum!
The ship slowly levitated, then shot upward, leaving Mount Justice.
Up in the sky, Megan was 'forced' by Wally to introduce the team to her abilities, and then she introduced them to the ship's abilities. But just as they continued flying through the sky, Red Tornado's voice came from their comms:
"I have a mission for you."
