Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Ide: Wait, Is This Still the One Piece World?

"Wait."

"Ur, you just said 'continent,' right?"

After hearing Ur's suggestion, Ide frowned for the first time in a while.

The word "continent" wasn't something you heard often in the One Piece world.

As far as Ide knew, the only thing called a continent there was the Red Line. Maybe Alabasta, being a huge desert kingdom, could be colloquially called one? (Alabasta's size was roughly comparable to Australia, similar to the Kingdom of Fiore.)

"Ur."

"Do you have a map of this country and this so-called continent?"

Ide thought for a moment and asked.

"The mayor should have one at his house."

"I can take you there to see it."

Ur recalled seeing a map of the Ishgar continent hanging in the mayor's office.

When Ide followed Ur to the mayor's house and laid eyes on the map of Ishgar, he was dumbfounded.

"Huh?"

"Ishgar Continent?"

"Where the hell is this?"

"Did I... transmigrate again?!"

It had been nearly ten months, and the dense-headed Ide finally realized the fact that he had crossed over into a new world for the second time.

"Ide, what's wrong?"

Ur stood beside him, looking at Ide, who was staring blankly at the map. She was confused.

"Ur, this isn't about finding Imu or getting revenge anymore."

"It looks like I'm homeless."

After a long silence, Ide finally accepted his reality. He turned to Ur and sighed.

"Eh?"

Ur tilted her head, looking at him blankly. "What do you mean, homeless?"

"Well, how do I explain this?"

"Forget it. I'll start from the beginning."

Ide sighed and began to recount his experiences in the One Piece world, culminating in getting blasted into oblivion by Imu.

Of course, he left out the part about transmigrating into the One Piece world from another world (our world) originally, and he didn't mention that One Piece was a manga.

"In other words, you're from another world?"

"That makes sense. I was wondering why I'd never heard of this 'Haki' power before."

Ur looked enlightened. She slapped her forehead and exclaimed, "Wait, so how could you not realize something this big until now?!"

"I couldn't help it!"

"I was too busy training magic with you!"

"My attention was completely focused on magic. I didn't think about anything else."

Ide said helplessly.

Seriously, who would expect to get double-isekai'd?

"So, what's your plan now?"

Ur quickly accepted the fact that Ide was an alien from another dimension.

This was a world of magic, after all. Other worlds existing wasn't that weird.

Ur knew about Earthland (her world) and had heard rumors of other worlds like Edolas. She assumed Ide's "Pirate World" was just another parallel dimension like Edolas or Elentear.

"I'll take it one step at a time."

"Until I find a way back to the Pir... er, back to my world to get revenge on Imu, I'll have to rely on you to take me in, Ur."

Ide sighed.

"You're helpless."

Ur smirked, feigning annoyance, but inside she was happy.

It meant she could keep living with Ide for the foreseeable future.

"Ur."

"Since I can't figure it out right now, I won't worry about it."

"Let's go to the mountain and have a good fight!"

Ide grinned at her.

"You're on."

"I won't go easy on you."

Ur was eager.

Even though Ide had caught up in raw magic power, Ur still believed her mastery of Ice-Make Magic was superior.

At least, that's what she told herself.

BOOM!

And so, the two Wizard Saint-level powerhouses resumed their battle on the mountain behind the town.

The terrifying magic power released by their clash shook the entire town.

The townsfolk felt like they were living through a daily earthquake.

"Damn it."

"I need to find a polite way to ask those two monsters to leave town."

The mayor sat in his office, watching the map of the continent tremble on the wall from the shockwaves. He frowned deeply.

---

Back on the Mountain.

Now that Ide had reached the Wizard Saint level, his rich combat experience (from his pirate days) gave him the edge. He managed to narrowly defeat Ur by half a move.

"Ur."

"If this keeps up, I'm going to surpass you completely. Then you'll have to call me Teacher."

Ide looked at Ur, who was sitting in the snow, and teased her.

"Shut up."

"I was going easy on you!"

"I didn't use my ultimate move."

Ur's pretty face flushed red as she stubbornly defended herself.

"Oh?"

"You have an ultimate move you've been hiding?"

"I'd love to see it."

Ide laughed.

"Fine."

"You asked for it."

Ur stood up from the snow. She assumed a very strange, distinct stance. Her expression turned serious. "Listen, Ide. This spell is called Iced Shell! It is an Absolute Magic that must never be used unless absolutely necessary. Once used, there is no turning back for either the user or the enemy!"

BOOM!

As she spoke, a terrifying amount of magic power erupted from her body—power that clearly surpassed the baseline Wizard Saint level and approached the limits of human capacity.

The sky, the earth, space, time, magic, and even life itself seemed to freeze slowly in Ur's presence.

This was the horror of the Super Freeze Magic, Iced Shell.

"Stop! Stop! Stop!"

"Ur, listen to me! Never use that spell!"

"No matter what happens in the future, never, ever use that magic!"

Seeing her stance, Ide's high-level Observation Haki (Future Sight) activated. He saw a vision of Ur's body dissolving into ice and snow after casting the spell. Panic seized him, and he waved his hands frantically, his face stern.

"Huh?!"

"Who said I was going to use it here? I'm not crazy!"

"I was just showing you the stance."

"Besides, didn't I just say? I'd only use this move to take a mutual kill if we met an invincible enemy."

Ur looked at the panicked Ide and explained hurriedly.
