A electric blue holographic panel appeared before Vash eyes, explaining what just happened after he open his eyes to the new world full of civilization ruins.
[This world is a convergence zone where countless destroyed civilizations got sent with their last remaining people, to rebuild their new home.]

"What in the world is happening? So much information all at once!" Vash massage his temples as he contemplate at what's happening.

Vash was bombarded with continuous information that he felt unreal, not that what's already happening felt real anyways.
Just as he comprehend this so called talent of his, a new panel appeared again, unlocking it's basic feature.

After a long while, Vash easily accepted his current reality with no change in his expression. Apocalypse or not, nothing would change the fact that he needs to suffer in order survive in both situation.
He glance around and notice he was in the middle of unknown human city. It was in dilapidated and in ruined state for some reason.
The sky is beautifully clear, with the sun shining comfortably in the sky. No one would think that this world is really that dangerous as the notification said if not because of dilapidated buildings around.
Around him, he cannot see any human or any signs of activity, only stillness and eerie quietness. He was in the middle of no man's land with an unknown danger.
"I'm alone, huh... Maybe that's for the best."
In contrast to an ordinary person, Vash was extraordinary calm in this weird situation, even do he got transported into the unknown place alone.
After composing himself for a bit, he finally begins to move. He needs to think of a way how to survive in this so called apocalypse with little information to no information about this world, then came up with possible plan to save himself somehow.
Vash then reached around the empty city while thinking about the talent he just awakened, said by the system that appeared out of nowhere. Maybe this thing is the key in surviving this mess.
As he walked through the empty streets, he noticed a couple crushed rusty car parked in the road and an idea course through his mind.

After pondering for a bit, Vash pressed yes. He wanted to see what would happen.

Seeing the two rusty vehicle merge to create a much better rusty car, reinforced with much stronger metal, Vash was deeply amazed. Still it was useless as he can't use it, a scrap + scrap is still a scrap.
"This is my talent?" Vash contemplate, he don't know whether he have something overpowered or just normal thing in this new world. Still he keep his cool, and keep being humble.
"With this, my chances of survival would increased right?" Vash muttered, he was kinda groggy after using his ability, maybe this is the after effects of his talent seeing he lost one of this so called energy points.
"Better to keep moving and learn more about my surroundings." Vash didn't daze any more longer, he strolled through the streets, enter empty buildings that looks like it have been long abandoned by humans. Inside, he learn that there were still living beings inside, not humans do but lots of city rats and insects building their haven in the heart of ruins.
After searching around for a long while, he learned that this place is more eerie than he thought. He could not find a place he felt safe, everything is broken and dilapidated here. He also learned couple functions of the system along the way like the chat function, he could communicate with the survivors in his area using this.

[Jules]: Where the hell am I?
[Kenji_M]: I was just walking home and I blacked out, then I got transported here. Did I got kidnapped?
[Theo_92]: This can't be real. There's no way this many people are having the same dream as me! Ahahaha.
[MaraL]: It looks like I'm in some part of a ruined city, the buildings look old and dilapidated like it passed a war and time… But there's no bodies around. Are there someone out there in the same situation like mine?
[Arvin]: Same here. Looks like I'm in the city that was abandoned long time ago.
[Rex]: Who's responsible for this?! This is illegal! This is some kind of illegal experiment! I'll report you to the police!
[Kenji_M]: Did everyone see that blue screen thing? About the notice that we have a day before the so called the real apocalypse?
[Jules]: YES! I thought I was losing my mind after seeing some nonsense. And this so called real apocalypse, isn't we already in it?
[NurseAya]: Please stay calm guys, panicking right now will only make things worse.
[Theo_92]: If all of this is real… then food, water, and shelter are the priority, like the survival games I played before.
[Rex]: You're assuming this would lasts longer. Hmph! I bet that the officials are already planning to raid this nonsense shit and save us all!

The local chat channel is full of information and people screaming to get the hell out of this place. Myriads of people mingle in a single group chat would surely lead to chaos.
He also learned that he was in an area called Area B09, he don't know what it implied nor he currently need to know it, he only needs to know that there's 10000 people in his area alone. Suddenly it become 9999, someone just died for some unknown reason. This area seems to be not that safe at all.
After learning something, Vash pondered. When there's 9999 people in his area, then where is everybody?
