Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Such Alaya

"You're finally here, Zeus." Zeus, who had just traveled through time and hadn't yet adjusted to the dizziness, heard a gentle greeting. Shaking her head to barely clear it, Zeus looked towards where the voice came from. Hmm! A beautiful girl, with hair like the night and eyes like black pearls. This gave Zeus a good impression, in addition to her inherent intellectual beauty of an Eastern woman. Zeus felt a considerable fondness for this girl she was meeting for the first time. At this moment, she was sitting on a seemingly magnificent and expensive throne, like a queen looking down on all beings. If it weren't for the dangerous feeling the girl gave Zeus, Zeus might have had a good chat and tea with her, but the girl's cunning aura made Zeus want to run away.

Right, that letter. So, the one here is... Zeus suddenly remembered something!

"Alaya, right?!" Zeus said with certainty.

"Bingo! You got it right." The girl... ah no, Alaya, stepped down from her throne. With a brilliant smile, she came before Zeus and tightly held Zeus's hand.

"My dear, I've always wanted to meet you." Suddenly, Alaya shed tears of joy, which flustered Zeus. Zeus, who prided herself on being a man, was encountering a crying girl for the second time in her two lives. The first was Rhea. Her weak nature destined her to be tearful every day. The second was this one before her, who started crying out of nowhere. While comforting Alaya, Zeus didn't notice the small bottle in her hand that read 'Eye Drops.' If she had noticed, Zeus wouldn't have called her a crybaby.

Zeus would have run far away. She had never seen anyone play such tricks on a first meeting. Under her fair palm, the face she covered was not weeping bitterly, but rather held a cunning, fox-like smile. Oh, lovely little Zeus! Still so easy to fool. When it comes to intelligence! Alaya declared that she could use hundreds of methods to make Zeus willingly climb into her bed and strike various poses. 'Humans' are truly too cunning.

"That, helping Hades find me, and these earrings, those were all your doing, right?!" Zeus looked at Alaya, who was no longer pretending to cry, with a complex expression. This favor seemed a bit too big. But she had never even met this important person before! She didn't know her. Why? Why would she risk offending Gaia to help her? Zeus had a good sense of self-awareness. She had neither great power nor a vast influence (she used to, but she didn't dare to now). This didn't align with a beneficial exchange! She didn't have anything on her that others would covet. Zeus couldn't figure out why Alaya would help her!

"That! You'll know in the future. But now I have something to give you," Alaya revealed a mysterious smile, choosing not to tell Zeus. And to Zeus's surprise, she took out a magnificent and powerful staff. The staff was made of an unknown tree trunk, and at its tip was embedded a bowl-sized sapphire, occasionally flashing with a hint of lightning. It was exceptionally beautiful, but these were not what Zeus noticed.

"Why does this thing give me a feeling of blood connection?!" Zeus wondered inwardly. She had definitely never seen this thing before. But why did it feel so familiar?

Suddenly, the staff detached from Alaya's hand and flew towards Zeus. This startled Zeus, but she still caught it. The joyous emotion transmitted from the staff, while confusing Zeus, made her lovingly caress the staff, a feeling like caressing a child welling up in her heart.

"This is," Zeus looked at Alaya, who was smiling cheerfully, and asked.

"This was originally your weapon,'Staff of Thunderous Judgment.' It's just that history experienced an unusual distortion, which is why it never reached your hands." Alaya said, giving Zeus a complex look, but then slowly began to explain her confusion to Zeus.

"So, Zeus, now you have a path to take." After Alaya finished speaking, she said seriously.

"Please indicate the direction." Zeus had already made up her mind and said firmly to Alaya.

"Alright." Alaya nodded with satisfaction. She hoped this resolve would continue.

"Your current situation and predicament are very bad, because your strength is too weak. The course of destiny has become very distorted. The Gaia of your world was interfered with by the 'Evil of this World' and turned dark because of this." At this, Alaya paused, glancing at Zeus's ashen face. Ah! Poor child, she was so roughly taken for her first time. And she even had a child! She really envied Gaia! (crossed out)

"Now! I need to melt you down and remold you, sealing your Divine Body and Divine Artifacts together into a Spirit Core. Don't worry! Your consciousness will then create a new body to attach to it, using the Spirit Core as a power source. The seal will only be broken when your Divine Body regains immense power. This is your decision. During this time, you'll need to operate with a puppet body for a while. Go temper and train yourself. If you succeed, the moment the seal breaks, you'll be able to control your power perfectly," Alaya cheerfully explained.

"What if I fail?" Zeus asked, puzzled.

"You'll be a mere XXX with power," Alaya said with a cold smile, sending shivers down Zeus's spine.

"Where can I go to temper myself, and will Gaia not sense me?" Zeus asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, as long as you don't use divine power, you'll be fine. After you choose a body, go train in one of my subordinate worlds!" Alaya said confidently.

"Alright, that puts my mind at ease," Zeus nodded, indicating her willingness.

"Then choose!" A hint of a smile flashed in Alaya's eyes as she waved her hand. Various humanoid shadows appeared around the two of them. After the shadows dispersed,

"What... what's going on?!" Zeus cried out in sorrow. This wasn't the outcome she expected. Oh, my!
