Chapter 218 - Chapter 131: Zeus in Labor

"Oh no, it's time to give birth."

Zeus, who was just about to play the violin for a bit longer, suddenly felt her divine power draining unusually fast. Having experienced this situation twice before, Zeus immediately realized that it was time for the birth.

The dual suction coming from her belly made Zeus feel like she was going to be torn in half and sucked dry by these two. Unable to bear the pain, Zeus smashed a nearby vase to the ground, creating a shattering sound.

"What happened? What's wrong, Zeus?"

Hades, who was preparing supplements in the kitchen, heard the sound and quickly put down her work. With a flash, she appeared in Zeus's room. Seeing Zeus curled up in pain on the bed, Hades immediately went over to examine her body.

"Quick… not enough divine power."

Sweat dripped from Zeus's forehead, down her pale face, onto the pristine white sheets, soaking a patch of them. Seeing Hades arrive, Zeus breathed a sigh of relief and, with a voice trembling from pain, said to Hades, with this 'Hades-brand power bank,' she, Zeus, should be able to reduce the pain of childbirth this time.

Hearing Zeus's words, Hades didn't hesitate. Holding Zeus's hand, she began to channel her abundant divine power into Zeus. Thanks to Hades's assistance, Zeus felt much more relaxed. Although it was still somewhat painful, it wasn't the tearing pain she had felt earlier. Her face, which had been contorted in pain, slowly calmed down, and her pale complexion regained a hint of color.

"How are you feeling now?"

Looking at the calmer Zeus, Hades asked with concern.

"Much better, thank you, Hades."

Feeling her body's condition and the now-alleviated pain, Zeus looked gratefully at Hades beside her. If it weren't for her, she might have been in so much pain that she died. Of course, she also forgot that this person was the culprit, but it was better than stubbornly passing out from pain alone. She, Zeus, was not a masochist; she was very afraid of pain.

"There's no need for thanks between us, and this matter started because of me. If I hadn't brought you back, this probably wouldn't have happened."

Hades said with a look of guilt. Although she didn't regret bringing Zeus back, she didn't want to see Zeus suffer like this. While she felt guilty, there was also a hint of secret joy in Hades's heart. This indicated that Zeus was slowly beginning to accept her existence, meaning she still held a certain position in Zeus's heart. Thus, her wish to be with Zeus forever was no longer so distant.

If it weren't for the pain making her unwilling to move, Zeus would have long since grabbed Hades by her collar and said to her, 'So you do have self-awareness!' But now, Zeus could only lie in bed, thinking, 'As long as you're happy,' and didn't respond to Hades's guilt.

"Uh~!"

"It's coming."

Feeling the two little lives in her belly squirming like two fish, Zeus knew it was time for them to come out. At this point, she could only rely on them, and Zeus could only provide them with the divine power to crawl out of the mother's body. She couldn't intervene at all; otherwise, she could have learned from the medical practices of her previous life and had a 'C-section' for a quicker and less painful delivery. However, if a child of the gods was forced to leave the mother's body without absorbing enough divine power, their future potential would be very low, at most only demigod level.

Why did Zeus know all this?

Because when she gave birth to Athena, her own mother goddess was there assisting in the delivery, and she had told Zeus all this knowledge. Actually, Zeus didn't want to learn it at all, but she still listened.

For the sake of the children's future, she endured.

"Ah~Ah"

While Zeus was going through hell, Athena had already begun to prepare the Saint Seiya plan.

"Still a bit short, still a bit short."

Athena, sitting on her divine throne, looked at the twelve zodiac signs marked on her hand. Once the Cloths were completed, she would project the markings into the sky, allowing her to draw upon the power of the stars. But she felt something was still missing. Since there were twelve Golden Palaces, wouldn't it be normal for there to be a thirteenth?

"Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces."

"These can only be considered upper-tier forces. I still lack a trump card, or rather, an ace."

Athena thought, her head aching. Suddenly, she saw a grass snake coiled in a corner, and a flash of inspiration struck her.

"Yes, this will do. The hidden Thirteenth Palace, Ophiuchus."

Thinking this, a smile appeared on Athena's lips. Next came the training of the warriors and the creation of the Cloths. She was very much looking forward to seeing how these Cloths, imbued with souls, would choose their wearers.

"I still need materials. Faith is almost enough, but materials are still insufficient."

"Sigh! Slow development, farming is the kingly way."

Recalling the pitiful amount of materials she had, Athena finally decided to raid the Divine Realm's treasury. After all, it was all hers; she would just use it and definitely return it.

"What's wrong, Zeus?"

"Nothing! My heart just suddenly aches so much, like someone is taking my things."

"Do you need me to rub it for you?"

"No need, ah~~ so painful."
