Chapter 34 – Horse and Sandwich
"W-What is this?!"
Lia dropped her jaw. She was baffled, and I didn't blame her. Anybody would have been confused if they hadn't known their world was a game.
"Qingfeng Dragon Horse."
"Jing-fem-what?"
I scratched my head. How should I explain this?
Originally, the game had a fixed culture, naming some people and some countries with Latin words. Later, the developers added DLCs, including character-bound equipment, weapons, and horses from other mythologies.
Since I didn't want to waste time explaining Chinese mythology and vocabulary, I changed its name to make it easier for Lia to remember.
"Let's just call it Wind Dragon Horse. It could run on shallow water or still rivers for a few seconds. Well, it was a good warhorse."
"W-Wow."
Lia stepped closer to the horned horse. It turned toward her and lowered its head, allowing her to touch it.
I got envious. I wondered if a mob like me would ever have a character-bound mount like this.
