Damn me if I can do anything in this class. The teacher called all of us down in order. Man, I feel like I can't even feel the energy to do that.
Ultimately, my confidence grew and I looked at Hiko go down the stairs and the teacher told him "Use this mic, and explain to us your Spec."
Hiko then said "Well as I am in front of you, I'm going to be introducing my Spec to you guys. Hmm, so first off I have a Divine Spec and what comes with it is a whole new place. When I use my Spec it creates a small classroom anywhere. And when someone is in my range and I use it, it teleports us to the room. So if someone is outside the room, they can't see it because it disappears. So the powers I can use inside my room are. Well first of all. There is my main usage, is that I can turn off my lights, and when it's off, no one can move, or if they do, they get injured badly. When the lights are off I can teleport anywhere but I cannot touch the person. When the light turns on they get flashbanged and I can quickly hurt or injure them in that amount of time. I can also fit a five-person range in this classroom. I do have one downside. Well, I'm sure this accounts for all, but if I use my room for too long, my shinjo drains, and when it's fully drained, there is a possible chance... that I can die."
That was one heck of a speech. Hiko walked back to his seat and sat down like he was a majestic god.
The next person who was called was... OBU HIRAKI!! He came down and picked up the mic and said
"Well, as I may look nine, I am somewhere around thirty-forty. Okay, let's get to my Spec. So now, again, it's a Divine Spec. So as you can see, my teddy bear that I always seem to carry around with me. His name is Plou. He can basically turn human. So when I use my Spec, I get shut down like a robot and my teddy bear grows tall enough that I think eight feet tall. And he can basically do anything. His punches are not soft, they are mostly hard. But if I die when I'm shut down. I die. So not just that but Plou has to protect me on that too. He can also use shinjo, and not just me."
Man, I wish I could have a unique Spec like thaaaaat. Well, surprisingly it was me next. I walked down the stairs insanely anxious that maybe I might fart again or trip.
My Spec felt so basic. Whatever, I have to get this one done either way.
I picked up the mic and said "Hi, uhm... so my Spec is just ice shards, it's a Divine Spec, and all it does is throw attack or protect with my ice shards, I know, it's insanely boring."
Yeah, that might be the most embarrassing thing I've ever said. No one cheered or even smiled. Well, I wouldn't hope they would do that.
I sat back down in my chair and the next one up was Trickster. He walked down and I knew something was gonna get fucked up in his abilities.
"Well guys, actually, since I'm obviously the cool guy here, I HAVE A CELESTIAL SPEEEEC!!." Literally no one cheered or even smirked. "So guys, my Spec is basically; guys I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea what my fucking Spec is. I just use it for one power. Hypnotizing. Since the only power I have is in my hands. Yeah I know, my palm has an eye that's spinning. Well not the eye itself but the eye... that made no sense. It was white and black in a dizzy form. If I pointed it at someone, they would faint on sight. So yeah, those are my powers."
That might've been the worst Spec I've ever seen and it was a Celestial as well. I wonder who's next. Maybe this time it's Johnny. Surprisingly, it was him.
Johnny walked down very nervously and picked up the mic and said "He- hey guys, we-well my Spec is, that I can summon papers anywhere within a fine distance around me to protect me. And when I need to attack, I use these insanely sharp pencils to attack. I can basically move them how I want and control them with my hands. Make them levitate and all of that."
Well, that was cool but he didn't even say his Spec rarity. Probably Celestial. Well, the last one who is left, was Rin.
He walked down in style. Since there was a railing on the stairs, he just slid on those. That might've been more uncool than just walking down the stairs.
He picked up the mic and said "HEY RADSSS, well, since obviously my Spec is better than everyone else's here and possibly might be the COOLEST one, let me tell you about it. So basically. A mini stand. Like a literal stand with just a regular wooden board and a guy standing there. He can't be visible to others but only to me. He's basically my friend that you just can't see. When I'm not using the power, he just stays close to me and when I talk to him, you can't hear my voice and also you can't hear his. So when I'm using him, he has the mini stand shop and my power is that I can see targets on opponents. So when I'm hitting those targets I gain a special amount of cash for the pressure I hit him with. If it's hard, then a lot, if it's weak, then not much. But if I don't hit the targets, I don't get anything. But if I get money. I can trade that money to buy items in the shop that help me in those types of battles. Like I could get a 2x damage for ten seconds. Or like a 1.5 speed multiplier for three minutes. So yeah, that's basically it."
Well, yeah. I could definitely say that I have the most boring Spec amongst them.
It's fine, it's probably stronger than some. I looked bored and just started looking around. What were we even supposed to do?
The teacher then said. "Alright class, I guess for today. I'm going to be teaching about shinjo itself. So let me start with the origin of shinjo." Okay, maybe this wasn't gonna be just math and English and all that boring shit. "Well shinjo started from a king. 800 years ago, back when the world wasn't split apart. The king of the whole land, was about to get married. As his fiancée was walking with him. He stumbled upon what he called "A beautiful flower"
He picked it up, and then it happened. Shinjo, spread and corrupted the whole land. So apparently the king disappeared right when he picked it up. The fiancée was already dead right as the pluck was pulled from the flower. It spread insanely like a wildfire. Many people are getting infected with it, and many are getting sick. It was mayhem, some people didn't get infected with it and some did. 200 years later that incident. People say a mysterious huge hand broke the world in half. Many speculate it could be the king, many others speculate it could be god.
And then shinjos and humans were on split sides. They each adapted into their own world until politics got into hand. A political leader for the humans started a war. The HAC was built to stop shinjos and to take over both worlds. They also created a whole ship to collide with our world for a war soon. No one knows what will happen for now.
The reason we aren't getting sick is that we have all adapted to our shinjo and now it works perfectly fine. So now let me explain about shinjo itself and how it works.
So shinjo, it comes from the heart. Basically connected to the heart. If you use your blood to flow with the shinjo and try to push both out. You can make it appear from thin air. To demonstrate, the appearance of Shinjo is quite odd. It basically is a 2-inch flow of energy, well not energy. Every strong and weak person has a limited amount of shinjo. The stronger one obviously has more and the weaker one has less. So shinjo basically looks like a colored 2-inch thick energy that you can create ANYTHING with. Literally any shape or form. Maybe a sword, or a cube. Or any form or shape with it. But if you use all of your shinjo. You die.
Well, those are the relevant facts about Shinjo you need to know."
Oh wow, I didn't even know that. Seems to be quite a dangerous trait.
So far I have not felt any cause from the HAC though. I have seen many wandering around the streets of 21.
Suddenly, the door opened. Someone else entered the door. Who was it? A shadow below his hair and I couldn't quite get a glimpse of his face. He had a pair of flowers in his hand and while no one could see his face. He looked at us and shouted "I'M YOUR SISTERRRRRRR!!"
