Damian groaned.
He lay sprawled across the ground, his enormous black-scaled body partially buried beneath the rubble of several collapsed buildings. His robes were torn, the black armour covering his body was cracked, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
Above him, the full moon shone brightly.
He stared at it for a while before letting out another painful groan.
"Defeating him, he said. You have a chance, he said. Bitch, I don't stand a chance!" he complained. "Did you see how powerful he was? And his strength is still restricted by the God-Slaying Arrays!"
The third eye on his forehead rolled.
"Relax."
Damian's expression twisted.
"Relax?"
"By using that form, he has attracted everyone's attention. It's no longer Sol against you. It's Sol against the entire Imperial Capital."
The crimson eye narrowed slightly.
"You still have a chance to kill him. Just wait until he uses the final two stages of that transformation. He will be exhausted by then."
