Tiger was inside his rental home, getting ready to leave.
He changed into his Assassin clothes and looked at himself for a moment before leaving the building. The Assassin Headquarters was located inside the Assassin Quarter, so Tiger began walking there through the streets.
As he walked along the side of the road, he kept thinking about yesterday.
"I still don't understand how Scar gave me that code," Tiger murmured to himself. "Did he actually enter the school without anyone noticing?"
Tiger sighed.
"Whatever."
After walking for some time, Tiger finally arrived at the Assassin Quarter. He stood in front of the large entrance and knocked on the gate.
For a few moments, nothing happened.
Then the gate slowly opened.
Rigarta was standing on the other side.
"You came earlier than I expected," Rigarta said.
Tiger walked inside. "Who are we waiting for?"
Rigarta closed the gate behind him.
"She'll be here soon," Rigarta replied. "Come with me."
Tiger followed her through the headquarters.
"Who?" Tiger asked.
Rigarta answered casually.
"Boss."
Tiger nodded slightly and continued following her.
After a few moments, they reached the main controlling room.
Rigarta opened the door and Tiger walked inside. The room was filled with different systems and controls, just like before.
Tiger looked around.
"So... now what?"
"Nothing," Rigarta replied. "We just wait for her."
Rigarta walked toward the main controlling system and began adjusting something on it.
Tiger watched her for a moment.
"What are you doing?" Tiger asked. "Aren't we going on a mission today?"
Rigarta didn't look back.
"No."
Tiger looked slightly confused.
"Then why did you call me here?"
"Because there is something else."
Before Tiger could ask what she meant, a familiar voice came from behind them.
"Oh. You already called Tiger here, Rigarta?"
Tiger immediately turned around.
The Boss had arrived.
"Yeah," Rigarta replied in the same calm tone.
The Boss walked into the room and sat down in her chair.
She looked directly at Tiger.
"So, Tiger. What have you been doing all these days when you weren't coming here?"
Tiger hesitated.
"I was just—"
"Forget it," the Boss interrupted him. "Let's prepare for the next mission."
Tiger stopped speaking.
Rigarta remained near the controlling system while the Boss stood up from her chair and walked toward them.
The Boss began operating the system.
"Look."
Tiger stepped closer.
Rigarta also focused on the screen.
The Boss moved her hand across the controls before pressing something.
A blue hologram suddenly appeared in front of them.
Tiger looked carefully at it.
There was a picture of a man.
He had a beard, and his expression looked completely ordinary.
Tiger stared at the hologram.
"Do we have to kill him too?"
"No," the Boss immediately replied.
Tiger looked toward her.
"Then?"
"I won't tell you about him yet."
The Boss closed the hologram and returned to her chair.
Tiger quietly looked toward Rigarta.
"Do you know anything about this?"
Rigarta slightly shook her head.
"I don't."
The Boss continued speaking from her chair.
"I've been told not to explain everything yet."
Tiger listened carefully.
"But I can tell you one thing."
She looked directly at both of them.
"Next week, we'll have to meet that person."
Tiger waited for her to continue.
"Without him knowing."
Rigarta quietly repeated her words.
"Without him knowing…"
The Boss stood up again.
"I can't explain anything else right now. And honestly, it wouldn't be right to tell you yet."
Tiger remained silent for a moment.
Then the Boss looked toward the exit.
"You two can leave now."
Rigarta nodded.
She and Tiger began walking toward the gate.
As they walked out of the controlling room, Tiger looked slightly confused.
"So I was called here just for that?"
Rigarta glanced at him.
"Information can be useful too."
She opened the gate.
"This information isn't meaningless."
Tiger thought about her words for a moment before nodding slightly.
Both of them walked outside the Assassin Headquarters and continued along the footpath.
After walking for a while, Tiger spoke again.
"Now that I've actually joined this organization... it still feels a little strange."
Rigarta looked toward him.
"Strange?"
"Yeah."
Tiger looked ahead while walking.
"I mean... I joined so quickly that I don't even know what to say about it."
He sighed.
"Whatever. Forget it."
They continued walking for a few more moments.
Then Rigarta stopped.
"I'll leave from here," she said. "Your rental unit is still a little far from here."
Tiger nodded.
"Yeah."
Rigarta turned and began walking in another direction.
Tiger continued toward his rental home alone.
By the time he arrived, it was already night.
Tiger entered his apartment and changed back into his normal clothes. After everything that had happened, he didn't feel like doing anything else.
He quietly lay down on his bed.
Within a few moments, Tiger closed his eyes and fell asleep.
