Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Helen Cho

"This is how it should be done, there's absolutely no mistake."

"NO! NO! NO! This kind of thinking is simply like a madman's."

A man and a woman were arguing over a matter until they were'sweating profusely' and 'red in the face'. A blonde loli sat on the side, drinking cola while smiling at this hilarious scene, completely lacking any awareness of being the instigator. It was truly interesting. As expected, when their fields were similar and both were top figures, they would refuse to submit to each other. It was so funny to see two people whose ages added up to nearly seventy or eighty years old arguing over one thing.

"You two just keep on arguing!"

Neither of the two capable individuals noticed the little fox-like smile on the cute loli's face. That cute, pink little hand held a black USB drive, which appeared at Dr. Connors' computer interface and disappeared in less than three seconds, clenched in her cute little hand. This was a sub-virus program from saturday. she wanted to properly copy Dr. Connors' inventions; they might serve as a reference for the 'perfect version of the Sentry Serum'.

"I'm truly sorry, Doctor, it's my fault."

After finishing all this and watching the show for a while, Artoria stepped forward to pull Maya away and sincerely apologized to The Lizard Doctor. Seeing the angelic and cute Artoria looking so apologetic, even the doctor's greatest anger was extinguished.

"It's nothing, just a normal academic exchange."

After chatting with Connors for another two or three sentences, Artoria left with Maya. As for the Old Osborn, Artoria hadn't seen him since she started contacting Dr. Connors. Hearing that he was sick or something, Artoria could only leave 'with regret'. In fact, she already understood in her heart that the Old Green Goblin's body was beginning to show signs of his illness. The family's hereditary disease would make him age rapidly and accelerate his Death. She estimated he only had a few years of life left; if he were lucky, reaching a dozen years would be the limit.

Actually, he was quite unlucky. The money Osborn invested was primarily to cure his family's hereditary disease, so he had the Little Spider's parents research it. However, he didn't expect that the Little Spider's parents knew exactly what kind of person he was. As a qualified capitalist, once this kind of agent fell into his hands and cured him and Harry, it would definitely appear on the battlefield in the future. Thus, the Little Spider's parents ran away with the experimental results, leaving Osborn in a complete tragedy.

Seeing no hope for treatment, he had already gone completely mad.

"Why did you stop me? I still don't think he's right. Lizard genes are fundamentally different from human genes. He hasn't noticed this until now, only focusing on the repair ability. Once the experiment fails, it might create a monster."

While sitting in the car, Maya was still incessantly complaining to Artoria, but how could Artoria not know what she was saying?

"Everything has a cause and effect. Even if you say it now, he won't change anything. It's better to see what he will actually do. You just focus on doing your own things first."

"Alright!"

Taking a sip of the juice brought in the car, Artoria spoke to Maya with narrowed eyes. An aura that brooked no refusal erupted from her small body, stunning Maya opposite her. This aura came and went quickly. Coming back to her senses, Maya nodded in fear, not expecting her little boss to be so overbearing. She had no choice but to stop dwelling on what had just happened.

"I heard you seem to be quite familiar with that Dr. Helen Cho from South Korea."

Nodding with satisfaction at Maya's obedience, Artoria thought of that 'regeneration cradle' project. This thing was a good item that allowed Iron Man to trade a few blows with Thanos. Although she didn't know the principle, it seemed to utilize nanotechnology and was the basis for Tony to create the Mark 50. This thing was definitely great; she had almost forgotten about it.

"Hmph! Not very familiar, just alumni."

Maya's face instantly changed upon hearing that name. Artoria was very puzzled; how can you women's faces change so fast! Can you teach me this skill?

Maya didn't say a single word until they returned to the Base. However, Artoria deduced that Maya definitely knew Helen Cho and was quite familiar with her, but the two women probably didn't get along. Artoria could only drop it for now and continue to focus her attention elsewhere.
