In the living room.
Gwen took a deep breath, then very seriously said to Rhodey:
"Actually, we already knew each other before our first meeting."
Rhodey looked at her, waiting for her to continue.
Gwen didn't make him wait long, immediately revealing her hidden identity.
"Actually, I am Spider-Woman!"
Gwen brought over her backpack; inside a hidden compartment, her Spider-Woman suit was stored. She had secretly changed out of it after arriving at Rhodey's house last night.
Normally, she usually wears it.
"Sorry! I kept it from you for so long."
Gwen said, looking embarrassed.
Originally, she thought Rhodey would be very surprised, or perhaps a little angry.
But after waiting a while, Gwen found that Rhodey didn't show the slightest bit of surprise on his face.
As for anger, that was even less present.
"Aren't you surprised?"
Gwen asked, puzzled.
"No, not surprised." Rhodey smiled, "I already knew."
He said.
Gwen, "???"
"You already knew?!"
She couldn't help but exclaim.
Rhodey nodded, then his clothes rapidly changed.
In the blink of an eye, the pajamas he was wearing turned into a Batman everyday battle suit.
"That's right, I already knew."
He said, mimicking Batman's hoarse voice.
This time, Gwen was completely stunned!
She had originally planned to surprise Rhodey, but now the one truly shocked was herself.
"You're Batman!"
"No! You're that cross-dressing weirdo!"
Rhodey, "..."
Is it really okay to call your boyfriend that?
With a thought, Rhodey's clothes quickly changed back to the pajama style.
This made Gwen marvel, and she couldn't help but tug at his pajamas, wanting to see what was so special about them.
"Don't look, it's just ordinary pajamas. That's my ability."
Rhodey said.
"Your ability is disguise?!"
Gwen exclaimed again, surprised.
In just a short while, she didn't know how many times she had been surprised already.
"That's right, that's one of my abilities."
Rhodey nodded and said.
"You have more other abilities?!"
Gwen exclaimed.
"Oh, I almost forgot you can also use Cyclops! And you can teleport!"
"Your punches can also produce explosive effects!"
Gwen counted on her fingers the various abilities Rhodey had displayed, realizing that Rhodey indeed had quite a few abilities.
This made Gwen quite envious.
"You have so many abilities!"
Gwen said enviously.
But soon;
Gwen suddenly put her hands on her hips and said angrily: "So you actually knew I was Spider-Woman all along? And you kept pretending not to notice?"
Rhodey shrugged, spreading his hands and saying: "I couldn't help it. You seemed unwilling for others to know this secret, so I deliberately pretended not to know."
Gwen had a slightly resentful expression.
After all that, I have no secrets in front of you!
And I just did a lot of mental preparation!
Hmph~!
Gwen angrily turned her head away.
Rhodey, seeing this, of course quickly comforted his little girlfriend.
In a short while, Gwen was no longer angry.
Actually, she wasn't truly angry in the first place.
She was just a little annoyed that she had always thought Rhodey knew nothing about her little secret.
But it turned out...
"When did you find out I was Spider-Woman?"
Leaning in Rhodey's arms, Gwen asked curiously.
She wanted to know how she had been exposed.
"It was that time we first met in the Osborn Building."
Rhodey certainly wouldn't say he already knew in his previous life and had watched her animated series.
However, this World's Gwen was still a little different from Spider-Gwen in the animated series.
"Then how did you figure it out?"
Gwen didn't understand.
"I hid it very well!"
"It was the smell." Rhodey said, "I remembered your scent when I bandaged your wound that time, and then when I met you in the Osborn Building that day, your scent was exactly the same as Spider-Woman's!"
"Scent?"
Gwen sniffed herself.
It smelled fragrant and didn't have any special smell!
"My nose is quite sensitive."
Rhodey explained.
The truth was, of course, not like that, but sometimes a white lie was necessary.
It was better than making Gwen doubt her life, right?
"What a dog nose!"
Gwen wrinkled her nose cutely and said.
Rhodey smiled and playfully flicked her nose.
"What about you?"
Gwen sat up and looked at Rhodey, asking: "Besides being Batman, Flash, and Superman, do you have any other special identities?"
"Hmm... does an assassin count?"
Rhodey thought for a moment and said.
"An assassin?!"
Gwen was even more surprised; after all, Superheroes and such, she was already familiar with.
But an assassin...
To be honest, she had never encountered one.
That circle was too far removed from her!
"Why did you become an assassin?"
Gwen asked curiously.
She wasn't angry because Rhodey had been an assassin.
"On one hand, it was to earn some pocket money, and on the other hand, it was mainly to enrich a boring life."
Rhodey said after thinking for a moment.
"Are you short on money?"
Gwen looked around.
Every single piece of furnishing in this house was worth far more than all her pocket money from the past few years combined!
And yet, Rhodey said he was short on money?
Gwen expressed her inability to understand the mindset of rich people.
