"Lynn, why... why did you catch it again?" Edgar looked at the Dementor in front of him, which was making a faint "aba aba" sound and looking both aggrieved and cowardly, with a shocked expression on his face.

"That's not important..." Lynn was busy adjusting several rune arrays on the painting, answering without looking up.

"Aba aba... aba?" (Then what is important?) The Dementor "muttered" softly and turned toward Lynn, as if actually asking a question.

Lynn paused his movements, suddenly turned his head, and pointed his wand at the Dementor instantly:

"Expecto Patronum!"

The Patronus flashed again, Duang—!!!

"Don't interrupt!"

The Dementor was so scared that its entire outline shrank, and it stood obediently to the side, not daring to move, not even daring to say "aba" anymore.

"Where was I..." Lynn rubbed his temples. "Oh, right, that's not important. What's important is this—"

He turned his finger and pointed to a reinforced display stand nearby, where the Diadem was currently placed.

"This Diadem is the legendary—Ravenclaw's Diadem!"

A brief silence fell inside the trunk.

A few seconds later.

"Pfft—hahaha!" Edgar was the first who couldn't hold it back and burst out laughing. He pointed at the Diadem, laughing until he was doubled over.

"Hahaha... Lynn, you—you're joking, right? Something I just picked up from that pile of junk in the Room of Requirement, and you're telling me it's the legendary Ravenclaw's Diadem?! This joke is funnier than Ollie saying he's going to run for Principal!"

Edgar laughed for a good while, almost to the point of tears, but seeing that Lynn didn't have the slightest look of joking on his face, his laughter gradually faded and turned into an awkward dry cough. "Uh... for real? You're not messing with us?"

Although Edgar's mouth was still questioning, there was already a bit more uncertainty in his eyes.

William and Ollie also stared intently at the Diadem, then looked at Lynn, clearly stunned by this sudden assertion.

"Don't disbelieve it yet."

Lynn walked to the side of the Diadem.

"I've been working day and night these past few days just to study it. It is indeed Ravenclaw's Diadem, but the problem is—it has now become an extremely dangerous Dark Arts item."

"An item as sinister as the Tom I picked up last time."

Lynn paused and pointed to the panting on the workbench nearby, as well as the Dementor that was trying its best to lower its presence.

"And this is the solution i found, along with this 'special helper' I 'invited' here, is for one purpose—to get that dirty thing out of the Diadem and restore the Diadem to the way it should be."

Saying that, Lynn beckoned to the Dementor. "Come here."

"Aba? (What for?)" The Dementor drifted a little closer sluggishly, ready to bolt at any time.

"Do you see this Diadem?" Lynn pointed at Ravenclaw's Diadem.

The Dementor nodded, indicating it "saw" it.

"Use that skill of yours for sucking out happiness, and suck hard. Then, don't swallow it, and don't let it dissipate; spit it into this painting." He pointed to the painting again.

The Dementor "looked" at the Diadem, then "looked" at that uniquely ugly "painting," and finally "looked" at Lynn, subconsciously wanting to refuse. The soul inside was incomplete, and it didn't want to suck it.

But when a creature is under someone else's roof, it has to bow its head.

After being beaten up by Lynn again, the Dementor finally yielded.

It drifted slowly to directly above the Diadem, hesitated repeatedly, and cautiously brought its hollow "face" close to the Diadem.

Seeing that the Diadem had no reaction for the time being, the Dementor seemed to have made up its mind.

Its blurred head outline suddenly leaned back, and then, as if taking a deep breath, it emitted a powerful suction toward the Diadem!

Buzz—!

The Diadem suddenly erupted with strong resistance!

The body of the Diadem vibrated violently, and those blue gems on it flashed wildly with black light!

A large mass of churning black mist was forcibly pulled out from deep within the Diadem!

The black mist struggled and twisted, quickly condensing back into that familiar snake face in the air!

"Presumptuous! Lowly scum! How dare you—" The snake face struggled frantically, trying to break free from the Dementor's suction, looking like it was about to shrink back into the safe "nest" of the Diadem!

Lynn didn't hesitate, grabbed the "painting" on the workbench, and slapped it directly onto the "mouth" of the Dementor that was "sucking" the black mist!

Puchi!

The snake-faced black mist let out a shrill scream. The moment it touched the "drawing paper," the runes were activated to form countless black chains, binding it tightly and dragging it towards the complex runes in the painting!

The snake face resisted frantically, black mist splattered everywhere, but it couldn't break free from the sealing structure specially prepared for it.

Amidst a series of tooth-grating wails, the entire mass of snake-faced black mist was completely sucked into the painting!

On the canvas, within the originally abstract and twisted humanoid outline, there was now an extra mass of constantly writhing shadow.

The snake face's features were faintly visible in the black mist.

"What is this thing... Ah!!! Boy! Let me out! How dare you treat... Ah!! You will definitely pay the price! Your soul will eternally..."

Roars faintly drifted out from the painting. Lynn curled his lip and unceremoniously picked up his wand, lightly tapping the frame.

A cover enveloped the entire painting, and the internal cursing vanished instantly. Only the black shadow could be seen frantically crashing against the barriers in the painting, but to no avail.

"Got a foul mouth? Keep on mocking then," Lynn made a face at the painting. "Why aren't you coming out? Oh, I almost forgot—whatever you're saying, I can't hear you~"

(Lynn: Enjoy yourself! This is the 'single room' I carefully prepared for you, an eternal VIP seat, with intermittent 'purification treatments'—the [Immortal Curse], guaranteed you can't die but won't want to live.)

After doing all this, Lynn turned to look at his roommates.

Edgar, William, and Ollie were already dumbfounded, standing in place like three petrified statues.

From the Dementor sucking out the black mist, to the snake face appearing and struggling, to Lynn sealing it into the painting in an almost crude and direct manner, and finally adding a soundproof cover to mock it... this series of operations was so impactful that it truly left them at a loss.

Countless questions rolled in their minds, but the most direct one came from—

"This... this really is Ravenclaw's Diadem?!" William murmured. After Lynn nodded in agreement, he gently picked up the Diadem and placed it on his head.

Instantly, William's body shook slightly.

He felt as if a cool spring had been injected into his thinking, and his originally somewhat sluggish thoughts became exceptionally clear.

Several Potion ratio problems that had troubled him for several days, and a complex Ancient Rune translation difficulty—their key points and inspirations emerged like a tide, almost ready to be blurted out.

But that was all.

There was no direct infusion of knowledge, no wisdom out of thin air—just a significant increase in thinking efficiency, making the sparks of inspiration easier to burst forth.

"So are you going to keep the Diadem for yourself?" William took off the Diadem and handed it to Lynn.

Lynn turned and handed the Diadem back to Edgar.

"Edgar found this, it's up to him how to handle it. Besides... I can handcraft one of these with the same function myself."

Edgar looked at the Diadem in his hand and fell into a mental struggle...
