"Protego Diabolica!"
The moment the Spell left Lynn's lips, he flicked his wand upward.
The movement was swift. With that flick, the flames at the tip of his wand surged skyward.
The wall of fire that had risen from the ground, originally only a little taller than a person, shot up to three or four meters in the blink of an eye.
The golden-red flames became tinged with blue and white, while the temperature rose to the point that the surrounding air began to distort.
The few Death Eaters who remained several steps away from the wall of fire could not help retreating farther and farther.
A wall of fire roughly ten meters long instantly surrounded the three people inside.
Flames surged across its surface.
The temperature within the wall also continued to rise, but it was not the uncomfortable kind of heat. Instead, it carried a warm sensation.
The Death Eaters outside were scorched until their skin ached, while Lynn inside did not break a single drop of sweat.
From outside the wall, the Death Eaters could vaguely see a giant Dragon made of condensed flames slowly taking shape within.
Its aura bore down on them, making it difficult to breathe.
"Roar—!!!"
The moment the Dragon appeared, the group of Death Eaters was terrified beyond words.
Their faces turned several shades paler in an instant.
Bellatrix had also recovered somewhat from the torture of Crucio.
Her body was still twitching, but she was much better than before—perhaps because her body had already gone numb.
When she saw the wall of fire and the Dragon, only one thought crossed her mind.
Run.
Without another word, she transformed into a wisp of black mist and fled upward.
The black mist spread out and vanished into the air in the blink of an eye.
Then, she reappeared at the top of the pit.
She cast one last look toward the bottom before turning and running without looking back.
The remaining Death Eaters tried to follow suit.
Their bodies also began turning into mist.
Black mist seeped from their skin, enveloping them as they flew upward.
But unfortunately, they were not as fast as Bellatrix.
With a loud boom, the group of Death Eaters was swatted out of the air by Levi.
"What is this thing?!" a Death Eater screamed from the ground, his voice shrill and thin.
His body had been slammed into the ground, buried beneath rubble and dust. His wand had flown off somewhere, while his hands clawed desperately at the floor.
He looked up and saw Levi.
At that moment, only one thought remained in his mind.
A Phoenix. Dumbledore's Phoenix. Dumbledore has come too.
"Master! Master, help!" another Death Eater cried from nearby.
His body had also been slammed into the ground, and his wand was gone.
His pupils reflected the Dragon still surging within the wall of fire.
Master, where are you? Didn't you say this was a trap? Didn't you say Potter would come? Didn't you say all we had to do was catch him? Didn't you say that no one would come to save him?
"Quick! Quick! Stick your wands into the ground and use Finite Incantatem!" the final Death Eater shouted from the corner.
His words instantly snapped the group of Death Eaters back to their senses.
They all pointed the tips of their wands toward the ground and drove them down with all their strength.
They tried to force the flames to remain within the circle.
"Finite Incantatem!"
"Finite Incantatem!"
"Finite Incantatem!"
The third, the fourth, the fifth…
Lynn looked at the united Death Eaters and suddenly felt as though he were the villain trying to wipe out an entire family, while the protagonists desperately resisted with their final trump card.
He shook his head, driving the absurd thought from his mind.
I am a gentleman, after all. Killing Death Eaters is merely incidental.
Lynn waved his wand, and the flame Dragon instantly took shape, charging toward the Death Eater who had suggested using Finite Incantatem.
The Dragon's body streaked through the air, leaving a scorching trail behind it.
Its mouth opened, and the light in its throat grew brighter and brighter until it became blinding.
Boom!
The Dragon's head slammed into the barrier formed by the Death Eaters, causing its own head to recoil slightly.
Flames exploded across the barrier, sparks scattering like a small fireworks display.
Visible ripples spread across the barrier's surface from the point of impact.
The entire barrier trembled violently, emitting a strained humming sound.
The Death Eaters' expressions changed instantly.
Their faces turned from pale to livid.
Their hands shook.
Their wands shook.
Their bodies shook.
They were trembling from head to toe.
Lynn clicked his tongue.
"Is that it?"
He waved his wand again, and the flame Dragon charged toward the same Death Eater once more.
Rumble!
With another loud boom, the Dragon's head slammed into the barrier.
Countless fine cracks appeared across its surface, spreading outward from the point of impact like a spiderweb.
Lynn waved his wand again.
Bang!
The barrier shattered instantly, silver-white fragments scattering in all directions.
The Death Eaters were sent flying backward, their bodies slamming into the walls with dull thuds.
Their heads lolled, their limbs sprawled, and they looked like piles of mud tossed into a corner.
Lynn was about to command the flame Dragon to crash heavily into the group of Death Eaters.
Just as he prepared to act, every hair on his body suddenly stood on end.
Levi also brought Ron and the other three, who had been suspended in midair, down to the bottom of the large pit.
The next second, Lynn directed the flame Dragon upward.
With a wave of his wand, the flame Dragon shot up from the bottom of the pit.
It let out a sharp whistle as it tore through the air, its body carving a golden-red trail through the darkness as it slammed directly into the approaching figure.
Boom!
A massive explosion echoed through the air.
The ground at the bottom of the pit trembled, while rubble shook loose from the walls and rained down.
The shockwave from the explosion spread through the air, surging in every direction.
When it hit the walls, they cracked.
When it hit the ground, rubble was swept up like a small sandstorm.
Fortunately, Lynn waved his wand in time, conjuring a semi-transparent shield of water around everyone and sparing them from the blast.
But the Death Eaters below were not so lucky.
The shockwave struck them, sweeping them away from the corner.
Wherever the explosion passed, everything was consumed.
When the smoke and dust finally cleared—
A Witch wearing an Auror uniform floated quietly in midair.
The uniform was fitted and neatly tailored, but it was now in tatters. One sleeve had been torn, the hem was scorched, and several buttons were missing.
Her form was violently distorted.
Her body constantly expanded, contracted, expanded, and contracted, like a breathing balloon.
Her limbs twisted, flipped, stretched, and compressed without pause, as though something inside her were trying to tear its way out.
Most importantly, thick black mist surrounded her.
"Umbridge… no, perhaps I should call you an Obscurial," Lynn said in a low voice to the figure in the sky.
"You think… you think you can escape? I will make you know… know the taste of pain…" Umbridge said, enunciating every word.
"Your voice is still as annoying as ever."
After speaking, Lynn looked at Umbridge's expression.
There was no anger.
No fear.
No pain.
Nothing at all.
Lynn stared at that face for two seconds and realized that she was still looking back at him expressionlessly.
He understood that wasting any more words on her was useless.
She had already been completely consumed by the Obscurial.
Lynn glanced at the people behind him and sighed.
An Obscurial was unlike any ordinary Death Eater. It was better to keep it far away.
Its destructive power was simply too great.
If he fought here, he might be fine, but the others…
With that thought, Lynn flicked his wand, sending a thick bolt of lightning directly toward Umbridge.
Zzz—!!!
The lightning struck her shield, and black smoke spread through the air.
Taking advantage of that opening, Lynn shot upward from the ground.
With a push of his feet, he flew straight toward the ceiling.
He waved his wand and cast [Graphorn Charge] at it.
A colossal phantom of a Graphorn burst from the tip of his wand.
Two loud bangs rang out.
A "skylight" was forcibly opened in the Ministry of Magic.
Then, Lynn flew out through the hole.
As the black mist converged, Umbridge, just as Lynn had expected, followed through the opening he had blasted out.
The people at the bottom of the pit looked at one another, unable to understand how a rescue mission for Sirius had become so complicated.
Luna looked at Levi, who still floated in midair, and asked:
"Aren't you going to help Lynn?"
Her expression remained calm as she tilted her head and stared directly at Levi.
Levi merely looked at the people below without saying anything.
Its wings were folded against its sides, its tail trailing behind it. It stood on the rubble like a carefully carved statue.
The Master had not told it to join the battle, so it would not.
All actions followed orders.
The Master had said, Watch them. Don't let them run around.
So, it watched them and did not let them run around.
The Master had not said, Come help me.
So, it would not go.
"Oh, you mean Lynn can handle it."
Levi: "…"
…
On the other side of the battlefield, Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort were engaged in a true one-on-one duel between men.
Their two wands moved back and forth, while Spells wove an airtight net through the air.
No helpers.
No retreat.
No flowery nonsense.
Only Spells.
Only evasion.
Only the desire to kill the other.
Lord Voldemort's wand moved at extreme speed.
Every Spell he cast was aimed at taking Dumbledore's life—fast, accurate, and ruthless.
He clearly looked anxious.
He had to be.
Lynn had been inside for a long time.
A considerable amount of time had passed since he rushed through that black door.
Every so often, an explosion would echo from that direction.
It was difficult for Lord Voldemort not to worry that his servants had been wiped out.
Those Death Eaters were people he had gathered with great difficulty. If they all died, he would have to find replacements, which would be a waste of time.
But Dumbledore did not share so many worries.
His wand moved neither too quickly nor too slowly. Everything was perfectly measured.
As long as Lynn did not suddenly get the urge to blow up the Ministry of Magic, everything would be fine.
