Chapter 54 - Chapter 54: Kiana Fails

After exiting the classroom, Himeko sent Kiana a message, asking her to come to the office.

After a while, Himeko felt something was amiss, so she also sent a message to Mei, asking her to make sure to bring Kiana to the office.

After Mei saw the message on her phone, she asked, "Kiana, did you do something wrong again?"

"No, Mei, haven't I been at home these past few days? How could I have done anything wrong?" Kiana scratched her head and said.

"Himeko-jie sent me a message, asking me to bring you to the office."

"Huh? Why go to the office? Haven't we already started the holiday?" Kiana was even more confused and began to wonder if she had done anything wrong.

"Alright, don't think about it. If Himeko-jie called you, there must be something she wants to say. I'll go with you," Mei sighed, saying that Kiana was either causing trouble or on her way to causing trouble every day, and she simply couldn't keep an eye on her.

"Oh, oh, then let's go, Mei." With that, Kiana ran out of the classroom.

"Bronya, are you coming with us, or are you going home with Elysia first?" Mei asked Bronya, who was beside her.

"Bronya is coming along."

"You're all going together, are you going to abandon Aili? Aili will be sad, you know ♬~" Aili's voice came from behind Mei.

"Then it's fine if we all go together," Mei turned around and said to Aili.

Or rather, when she asked Bronya, she had already anticipated what Aili would say.

"Mm-hmm, Aili is also very curious about what Kiana did ♬~" Aili directly linked arms with Mei and hugged her.

"Hua, do you want to come along?" Aili also asked Fu Hua.

"No need, I still need to train this afternoon," Fu Hua shook her head and said.

The students who had not yet left the classroom all looked at Fu Hua with expressions of disappointment after hearing her words.

Aili had already invited her; it wouldn't take long to agree to go and see, yet the class monitor was still thinking about training. Was she planning to train her whole life?

"Mm-hmm, then I'll go to the office with Mei and the others to find Teacher. Bye-bye~" Aili waved at Fu Hua, then walked out of the classroom with Mei.

After Fu Hua watched Aili leave the classroom, she began to pack her things.

After she finished packing, Fu Hua noticed the gazes of the surrounding students.

Fu Hua didn't understand what their gazes meant, but she didn't feel any malice either. Fu Hua just frowned slightly, then picked up her things and walked out of the classroom.

Only then did the sounds of discussion erupt in the classroom.

Just now, the two main people were in the classroom, and they felt awkward discussing directly. Now that they were gone, this group of students began to gossip loudly.

On Aili's side, they quickly caught up with Kiana, who was walking ahead.

After the few of them arrived at the office, Himeko waved to them, signaling them to come over.

As soon as Kiana walked up to Himeko, Himeko reached out and grabbed Kiana's ear.

"Ow!" Kiana, whose ear was pulled, could only bend down with Himeko's strength.

"Aunt Himeko! What are you doing?!"

"Hmm? Aunt?" Himeko's grip tightened.

"Ah! It hurts, it hurts! Au... No... Himeko-jie!"

Only after hearing Kiana call her 'jie' did Himeko release her hand.

"You come here and see what you wrote!" Himeko placed several test papers in front of Kiana.

Kiana glanced at them and said, "How is that possible! I clearly wrote so well! How could I fail!"

"Fail?" Aili and the others curiously craned their necks to take a look.

Then they saw Kiana's academic scores.

There were three test papers in total, and even if all three scores were added together, they would only be enough to pass one subject.

Mei looked at Kiana in disbelief. When the exam was over, hadn't she confidently said that there was absolutely no problem with how she performed? How were they all failing now?

"How do you think writing like this would pass?" Himeko didn't know what to say either.

Kiana's practical combat scores were excellent, but her academic scores...

"It must have been graded incorrectly!" Kiana said loudly.

"Kiana, although I'd also like to say I graded it incorrectly, it is indeed a failing grade." Welt, the leader of Anti-Entropy and now the History Teacher Yang at St. Freya Academy, walked over.

"Teacher Yang, how could I possibly fail? I clearly wrote everything according to the book," Kiana looked at Teacher Yang with hopeful eyes.

Teacher Yang looked at Kiana with disappointment. "Kiana, I already outlined the key points for the exam before the test. I, your teacher, don't understand how you managed to fail even when you knew the exam scope in advance."

"But Teacher, I really did write according to the key points you outlined," Kiana immediately picked up the History paper and said.

"Yes! You wrote according to the key points, but when you were writing, did you even look at the questions?! Look, is what you wrote in the right place?!" As he spoke, Teacher Yang slapped his forehead.

He really hadn't expected someone to be this foolish.

He was proctoring the exam that day, and he had already let Kiana get away with her little tricks, but what was the result? She couldn't even copy correctly!

And because of Kiana's failing grade, he would have to stay at the Academy for an extra week, because he still had to give Kiana a make-up exam!

"But..." Kiana was cut off by Himeko before she could finish speaking.

"I'm sorry, Teacher Yang, you'll have to stay at school for a bit longer," Himeko said to Teacher Yang.

"It's fine, Himeko-jie, I just feel quite helpless," Teacher Yang sighed. After speaking, Teacher Yang turned and left. He still needed to prepare another test paper for Kiana's make-up exam.

"Kiana, I really don't know what to say to you. Aili has only been here for so long, and her exams can pass, but you, you've directly failed several subjects," Himeko said, pointing at Aili.

"Huh? You mean, Elysia passed?" Kiana looked at Aili.

"Hehe~ Kiana, can Aili assume that Kiana is looking down on Aili? Aili is very smart, you know ♬~" Aili said with a smile.

But as for what Aili actually did during the exam, as long as no one found out, wasn't that Aili's own skill!

"No, no, I'm just curious. I never saw Elysia study normally, so how did you pass?" Kiana said, troubled.

"Alright, instead of spending this time with me, you might as well take your papers back and review. Come back in a week for the make-up exam," Himeko collected all of Kiana's papers, then patted Kiana and said.

"I have to take a make-up exam?!" Kiana's body slowly turned grayish-white, and she knelt on the ground.
