Chapter 172 - Chapter 172: Poor Door

Some time after the First Herrscher attacked Saint Freya.

"Theresa, is Anti-Entropy still insisting that the person isn't theirs?" Himeko asked while eating the snacks in front of her.

"Yes, they keep saying it's not them, even when we shove the video footage in their faces, they still won't admit it," Theresa said with a sigh.

Because the compensation hadn't come through, all the repair costs came out of her own pocket. She hadn't bought the latest Homu comics in ages. Damn Anti-Entropy!

"But didn't that person who called herself the First Herrscher already say Cocolia's name?"

"But Cocolia, that vixen, absolutely refuses to admit that person is on her side, saying our surveillance footage is faked!" Theresa said, slamming her hand down on the table.

Bronya lowered her head slightly upon hearing Theresa's words.

The person who came to capture Elysia that day was clearly someone from Cocolia's side, but...

Bronya thought, clenching her small hands into fists on her lap.

Just then, Bronya felt someone stroking her head, so she looked up.

Aili was smiling and gently rubbing Bronya's head.

"Don't think too much, okay? Just be happy yourself, got it? ♬~"

Bronya's tightly clenched fists loosened slightly. "Bronya understands."

"Mm-hmm, children should be happy, okay? Leave all the worries to us adults ♬~"

Theresa was still fuming on the side, "I really want to smash that vixen's head with Judah!"

"Alright, Theresa, even if you keep fuming, there's nothing you can do, right?" Himeko took a large gulp of beer, then reached out and pressed her hand on Theresa's head.

"That Cocolia, you know how she is, she's all about schemes. If you go play with her, aren't you just asking for trouble?"

"But I just can't swallow this! I spent a lot of money to repair the dormitory!" Theresa slapped Himeko's hand away, then took a big gulp of bitter melon juice.

"Speaking of which, Theresa, the money headquarters sends down every month should be quite a bit, right? Where do you spend it all?" Himeko asked, a little puzzled. Repairing a dormitory shouldn't cost that much, right?

"It's a big Academy like this, there are many places that need money, alright?" Theresa said, feeling a bit guilty.

"Alright, I know you buy comics, but comics shouldn't cost too much, right?" Himeko gently patted Theresa's head. "Even if you buy comics and dolls, how much can that cost?"

At Himeko's words, Theresa guiltily turned her head away, avoiding Himeko's gaze.

The comics and dolls she bought were all limited editions, so sometimes, if she didn't spend a lot of money, she simply couldn't get them.

But she couldn't say that.

"In short, the Academy's expenses are huge! I don't have much money left!" Theresa said stubbornly.

"Alright, alright, I didn't say you spend too much. Just keep an eye on it yourself." Himeko saw Theresa's expression and knew she must have spent a lot of money carelessly.

"As long as the Academy can operate normally, that's fine."

"The Academy can definitely operate normally," Theresa whispered.

"Mm, if you're really out of money, tell me. I still have some savings after all these years."

"I won't use your money."

"Alright, alright, just know that my word is always good." Himeko reached out and ruffled Theresa's hair again.

Halfway through dinner, Fu Hua received a message on her communicator.

Looking at the message on her communicator, Fu Hua frowned slightly, but quickly composed herself.

"Academy Head, I have a mission to carry out," Fu Hua stood up and said to Theresa.

"Huh? What mission? I didn't receive any notification," Theresa asked, holding her cup.

"It's a mission dispatched by headquarters, a very simple infiltration and investigation mission, it just requires me to depart immediately."

"My grandfather is giving out missions over my head again. Wait, I'll call my grandfather!"

"No need for such trouble, Academy Head. After all, the Bishop must have his reasons." Fu Hua looked at Kiana, who was still eating nearby, and reached out to grab Kiana's arm.

"However, the mission requirements state that I can bring someone for practical training, so I'll choose Kiana."

"Wait! Why choose me?!" Kiana struggled to pry Fu Hua's hand off, trying to break free from Fu Hua's grip.

"Because if Kiana doesn't participate in the mission, she might still fail her classes at the end of the semester." Saying that, Fu Hua pulled Kiana towards the door.

"Aili, you come along too." When she reached the doorway, Fu Hua paused, then turned her head to Aili.

"Okay! I knew Fu Hua wouldn't abandon me ♬~" Aili immediately stood up and followed.

"Wait, Class Monitor, Elysia is coming along, just let me off the hook! I really don't need those few points!" Kiana directly grabbed the door, which had only recently been repaired, with both hands.

But Fu Hua completely ignored Kiana's resistance and dragged her directly towards the logistics area.

The poor door, which had only just been replaced, was pulled down again by Kiana.

"Theresa, that door, it can still be repaired, right?" Himeko looked at the empty doorframe, a drop of cold sweat running down her forehead.

"Himeko, how about you pay first, and I'll reimburse you next month?" Theresa said with a twitching mouth, and at the same time, she decided something in her heart: the cost of this door would be deducted from Kiana's allowance!

"Alright, I'll front the money," Himeko said indifferently, just thinking that the safety of their building seemed a bit low.

On the way to logistics.

Aili and Fu Hua were discussing the mission through the Feather Crossing the Dust.

"Aili, this mission is about a herrscher gem."

"A herrscher gem? Shouldn't those things all be in the research institute?" Aili glanced at Fu Hua.

"Yes, a researcher escaped the institute with a gem, and during the retrieval process, the Valkyrie pursuing her encountered people from Anti-Entropy."

"I think Otto might have another plan, after all, a herrscher gem is very important, and a researcher wouldn't be able to leave the institute with a gem that easily."

"Furthermore, Otto also requested that Kiana be brought along." Fu Hua glanced at Kiana, who was still trying to break free from her.
