Chapter 364 - Power

Lich King has been out of the spotlight for so long that Andreas, busy with other matters, has almost forgotten about him.

Before engaging in war with N'Zoth and Naga, Andreas left behind a number of underwater combat troops to monitor the movements of the Scourge undead.

Several years ago, Lich King's vanguard "quietly" settled on a deserted island on the east side of the Conquest Island.

The island of conquest is rich in mineral resources, and you can even find open-pit oil on the island.

Night Elves, which uses clean energy, has no intention of extracting oil, a polluting and inefficient energy source.

By studying and referencing Draenei crystal technology, Night Elves modularizes the pure energy extracted from the Well of Eternity and gathers it into solid magic cubes.

However, relying solely on this method of extracting Well of Eternity and Magic Network energy has significant limitations.

Once far from planets that produce magic, Night Elves ' spaceships may even find themselves stranded in space, unable to move, if they lack sufficient magic cubes.

In light of this, Andreas arranged for the tribe's artisans and researchers to consult Draenei, but the results left Night Elves somewhat amused and exasperated.

Draenei unsurprisingly uses Holy Light as its energy source, but the main source of its abundant Holy Light is Naaru, who is always stationed on the ship.

Simply put, Draenei's spaceship... or rather Naaru's spaceship, uses Naaru as a bio-battery.

As long as the Naaru's energy is not depleted, the spaceship can maintain a sufficient energy supply.

Draenei's bizarre energy supply method was impossible for anyone to replicate, so Andreas had to find another way.

Before discovering chaotic energy, Night Elves was temporarily facing a bottleneck in the supply of high-intensity clean energy.

The enormous energy fluctuations caused by the clash of light and shadow piqued Andreas' interest.

After some testing, it was discovered that when light and shadow cancel each other out, they produce several times, or even dozens of times, more energy than they could provide when used alone. The multiple depends on the intensity of the energy clash.

In other words, as long as the scale of the collision between light and shadow is controlled, and the excess energy generated when they cancel each other out is refined and used to supply the spaceship, the efficiency of Night Elves ' energy use will be greatly improved.

Thanks to Andreas' sudden inspiration, Night Elves spent more than a year developing a proper solution.

With a specially customized power furnace, light and shadow can endlessly cancel each other out within the furnace under the most stable conditions.

Andreas named this energy supply system the Dissipation Power Furnace.

The first-generation Extinction Reactor can increase the energy output of light and shadow by five times, significantly reducing the rate at which magic cubes are consumed during spaceship travel.

This is still a relatively crude, first-generation energy dissipation reactor. Night Elves is researching how to more effectively prevent the harm caused by energy dissipation.

Once this problem is solved, the efficiency of the dissipation power furnace will be further improved.

Andreas' accidental discovery nearly made Velen so shocked he plucked out his beard.

It was the prophet who first told Andreas the laws of light and shadow. He never expected that Andreas would be able to apply this theory to other situations and develop the Extinction Power Furnace, a product of black science and black magic.

The principle of the rejection power furnace is very simple and not difficult to learn.

There are also many shadow priests in Draenei, all of whom are under the management of Archbishop Malardal. This shadow priest organization, formerly known as Auchindoun, was based in Draenei and was mainly responsible for comforting the souls of the dead.

Inspired by Night Elves, Draenei quickly followed suit, freeing up Naaru from the energy expenditure of spaceship travel, allowing them to focus more on assisting Draenei in combat.

The oil on the Isle of Conquest is not needed by the Night Elves, but the Titansteel ore produced on the island is very important.

Andreas never expected that this remote island would produce titaniumsteel, a product unique to Wintergrasp. Although its production was much lower than that of Wintergrasp, every little bit helps.

Titansteel has now become the primary hull material used in the Night Elves spaceships, and having another avenue for its extraction is a good thing.

The submarine mothership that patrols the waters near Conquest Island year-round has been keeping a close eye on this small island to the east.

The island was named Hydra by Andreas. The name itself had no meaning; it was just a name Andreas came up with on a whim.

The intelligence conveyed by Anub'Rekhan came from Hydra Island.

After years of soul fusion, Lich King has finally reappeared. He is now wearing his classic ice-iron armor and the Helmet of Domination, enjoying the heartfelt cheers of the island's undead.

Just hours after receiving the message from the submarine mothership, Kel'Thuzad, whose whereabouts were unknown, also sent a ghoul to contact Andreas, who had returned to his manor.

By possessing a ghoul, Kel'Thuzad had a remote conversation with Andreas.

" The Lich King has awakened from his slumber and immediately issued a call to you?"

"Yes."

Kel'Thuzad spoke through the ghoul's hoarse voice, "For my own safety, I cannot reveal my hiding place to you. Please understand."

"Without the special environment of Frozen Throne, Lich King's binding force on the undead has weakened considerably."

"He wanted me to immediately lead a large army to join him and devise a plan to return to Frozen Throne and establish a spiritual connection and control network with all the undead in Azeroth."

Hehe~

Andreas stroked his chin with interest. "Then go ahead. I want to see how Lich King plans to act. But you must be ready to contact me at any time."

"Okay, but how should I keep in touch with you?"

Andreas' lips curled into a strange smile, and a familiar voice suddenly echoed in Kel'Thuzad's mind from afar.

"Do you think that by using this method to isolate the transmission of messages, I won't be able to locate your position?"

Kel'Thuzad, hiding on the ancient beach, suddenly felt a chill run down his spine. He hadn't expected that he could be tracked back through the ghouls.

"Don't panic."

Andreas said casually, "Do you think I don't know your whereabouts? Ancient Beach is a warehouse built by the Titan Keepers. I located your undead army hiding on the island long ago through Ulduar's alarm system."

"Your worries are unnecessary. If I wanted to deal with you, I would have done it long ago. There's no need to wait until today."

"Go ahead. I will temporarily divert the patrol fleets along the way and rendezvous with Lich King as soon as possible. I need to know his first-hand intelligence at all times."

Even though he was already dead and had become a lich, Kel'Thuzad still felt a great sense of dread. If he were still alive, cold sweat would have been dripping down his forehead.

After struggling to compose himself, Kel'Thuzad's previously relaxed tone became much more respectful.

"Yes, it is your will."

Andreas severed his mental link with Kel'Thuzad and smiled knowingly.

It's not hard to understand why the Great Lich would hide his whereabouts out of a desire to protect himself, and Andreas didn't bother to investigate further.

After giving Kel'Thuzad a dressing down, Andreas was pretty sure that the guy wouldn't dare to cause any trouble, at least not for the time being.

"By the way, is the current Lich King Arthas or Ner'zhul? Or... is it half of both?"

If Lich King were to appear at the crucial moment when the Azeroth Allied Forces are locked in a fierce battle with the Naga and N'Zoth, Andreas might actually have a headache.

But as Azeroth returned to calm, the weakened Lich King was no longer a threat to Andreas.

After assigning Kel'Thuzad to infiltrate behind enemy lines to gather intelligence, Andreas no longer devoted much attention to Lich King.

After leaving the underground secret facility, Andreas went straight to Ulduar.

Before leaving Nyalotha, Andreas promised Sarthaion that he would create a Mortal body for her.

To avoid arousing suspicion from the Titan Keepers regarding Sarthaion, Andreas did not tell them of his intention to customize the Titan Construct.

Loken didn't ask many questions at first, assuming that Andreas wanted an immortal servant.

However, he was still somewhat curious about Andreas' strange request, since Andreas had specifically requested that the custom-made items not be endowed with artificial intelligence.

After jokingly deflecting Loken's apology, Andreas watched as the Great Guardian started up the crafters engine.

Following the requirements provided by Andreas, Loken used the titanium steel that Andreas had specially brought as material to create a steel Night Elves body according to the blueprint.

Seeing Loken's hesitant expression, Andreas awkwardly placed the life-size figure, gleaming with metallic luster, into his spatial bag and took it away.

On the way back, Andreas couldn't help but complain to Sarthaion, "Do you know how embarrassed I was? Loken looked at me like I had some kind of fetish."

Xal'atath ignored Andreas' complaints; the joy of soon gaining a new body filled her with anticipation.

"Hurry! I can't wait to get moving with my own body!"

Andreas rolled his eyes in exasperation, returned to Astranaar via the portal in Suramar, and tossed the Sword of the Dark Empire and the custom-made Titan Construct body into the basement. After that, he couldn't be bothered to pay any more attention to them.

Before the decisive battle against N'Zoth, Andreas promised his family that he would completely put down his work after the battle so that the family could have a good rest.

With the war just over, Andreas couldn't just abandon his post and leave a mess for his colleagues.

After more than a month of sorting out the postwar matters, Andreas formally submitted his application for suspension to the council, leaving the remaining work to Malfurion, Fandral and others.

With everything settled, Andreas no longer needed to worry about Lich King's problems.

Prisim's scouts and submarine motherships were secretly monitoring Hydra Island in their own ways, while Kel'Thuzad served as an inside agent, constantly relaying firsthand intelligence.

If Lich King can still cause a major disturbance under such intense surveillance... then it can only prove that his colleagues are distracted by post-war euphoria.

Before taking leave of absence, Andreas made a point of checking on the members of parliament's condition. They were all seasoned veterans who had lived for over ten thousand years and wouldn't easily become complacent because of a victory.

The happiest person about Andreas' rare vacation wasn't Shandris or Celeste, but little Sirius, who could finally spend a long time with his father.

Andreas had heard a saying in his previous life that sons are usually closer to their mothers, while daughters are their fathers' sweet little darlings.

However, this claim does not hold true at all in the Moonshadow Family.

Aurora has always been most attached to her stepmother Celeste. To Andreas, she is not a sweet and caring daughter, but rather a scheming and troublesome daughter who only tries to take advantage of her father.

On the contrary, his youngest son, Sirius, who is not yet two years old, clings to him all day long. If he can't see his father one day, the little guy will cry and make a fuss at home.

Overwhelmed with official duties before the war, Andreas had no choice but to temporarily move his office back to his study at home, leaving Aurora to oversee the Speaker's office and compile the reports submitted by officials at all levels before handing them over to him.

...

"emmmm?"

Riding on his father's shoulders, little Sirius asked in confusion, "Daddy, who is she?"

Following Sirius's directions, they turned around and saw Sarthaion, dressed in a maid outfit, following closely behind them.

Xal'atath has transferred his soul into the body of Titan Construct, leaving only a small amount of residual spirit attached to the sword of the dark empire.

This method does not diminish the power of the magic sword; those hit will still suffer severe soul corruption, and it will still exert its soul-absorbing effect when hitting Void Creatures.

It takes time for the Old Gods to imbue objects with the Flesh Curse, and even now, Saratasa's body still gleams with a metallic sheen.

As for Sarthaion's maid outfit, it wasn't Andreas' bad taste; it was her own choice.

Night Elves ' maid outfits are not modified versions of erotic costumes like those in Japanese anime, but are real long-skirted maid outfits that cover the entire body.

Wearing a veil and gloves, Xal'atath appears no different from the ordinary maids in the mansion, except that when she interacts with people, the other maids and housekeepers might wonder, "Why is this person so stiff?"

Fortunately, Sarthaion's current position is a personal maid, so she has very little contact with other "colleagues".

Andreas didn't actually intend for Sarthaion to work as a maid, but Sarthaion herself was in the throes of newfound physical excitement and surprisingly began to learn the procedures of a personal maid in a very organized manner.

After several unsuccessful attempts to persuade her, Andreas gave up and stopped caring about her, as long as the Terminator maid didn't go out and scare people.

Although Sirius is still young, his brain is developing much faster than that of normal children, and he can now communicate with his family quite fluently in daily life.

The little guy remembered every personal maid he frequently encountered, but he had never seen this stranger who was completely covered from head to toe.

"Her."

Andreas glanced at the seemingly well-behaved Sarthaion. "Her name is Sarah, and she's our new maid."

Sirius looked curiously at Sarthaion's thick veil covering her face. "Dad, won't she be unable to see the road clearly like that?"

"Won't."

Andreas' lips twitched, and he said with a half-smile, "Sarah is ill and it's not convenient for her to show her face without makeup for the time being. Son, don't pry into other people's pain. It's impolite."

"Oh, okay."

Sirius, who always listened to his father, pouted and gave up on asking further questions about Sarthaion.

On the second floor of the manor, two female owners stood by the railing.

Celeste looked at Sartharon, who was following closely behind Andreas and seemed very honest, with some concern. " Sister Shandris, is this really okay? She is an Old God after all."

Shandris shrugged. "Let her be. Since Elune has issued a divine decree, I believe she won't dare to cause any trouble. Besides, Andreas is watching over her."

According to Sarthaion's calculations, even with the full force of the Flesh Curse, it would take at least a year to completely flesh out this steel body.

This progress is already considered very fast, considering that the Yogg-Saron corrosion of the Titan Construct took thousands of years.

This is because the body is completely under Sarthaion's control, and she has already recovered her full soul strength, even surpassing it. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to compress the long process of flesh transformation into flesh within a year.

Today's Sarthaion has the name of the Old Gods, but it does not actually possess the power of the Old Gods that most people imagine.

First, since she did not parasitize Azeroth, she could not possess the ability of C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, and N'Zoth to achieve physical immortality as long as their souls are immortal.

However, every advantage has its disadvantage. Having devoured the souls of four Old Gods in succession, Xal'atath's soul strength far surpasses that of his colleagues.

Even if this body is destroyed, she can transfer her soul back to the Sword of the Dark Empire and wait for Andreas to create a new body for her.

As long as the sword of the dark empire remains, her soul can exist in an alternative form of immortality.

Simply put, Sarthaion is now essentially tied to the sword's owner, Andreas.

With Elune as her witness, she could not possibly do anything against Andreas' wishes.

Having died once, Sarthaion cherishes her life even more than N'Zoth. She herself is unwilling to stray too far from the Sword of the Dark Empire, lest she be unable to transfer her soul back to the Demon Sword for nurturing in time should she encounter an accident.

Shandris had a clearer grasp of the big picture than the clueless Celeste; she was the first person besides Andreas to accept this "Terminator maid."

Celeste, Leticia, and Aurora were still somewhat disoriented. They had just been fighting tooth and nail with N'Zoth, only to discover that their new maid was also an Old Gods. It would be difficult for a normal person to accept this so quickly.

During Andreas' vacation to spend quality time with his family, Sarthaion, whom he forcibly gave the name "Sarah," gradually began to integrate into Mortal's life.

However, in reality, Sarthaion had already thoroughly understood Mortal's lifestyle through thousands of years of observation, and only needed to spend a short period of time adapting to it with his own body.

Little Sirius quickly got used to the presence of this faceless personal maid. Compared to the older maids who would occasionally secretly pinch his cheeks, this taciturn new maid was more popular with him.

Moonshadow Manor has a unique personnel system, employing both temporary and long-term servants.

The Night Elf Republic had long since abolished the privileges of the nobility, retaining only honorary titles. The servants of the Moonshadow Family were all recruited through formal channels, with their salaries and benefits clearly stated.

For them, Andreas was merely a Boss who provided work, not a master as defined by aristocracy.

The temporarily hired servants were only responsible for gardening, cleaning, and reception work around the manor and were not allowed to enter the main house.

The Moonshadow Family only provides them with a salary and lunch. These temporary servants clock in and out every day like ordinary employees and do not live in the mansion.

The other part consists of long-term employees.

These servants had a closer relationship with their employers, lived in the manor for a long time, and were responsible for various tasks within the residence. Among them, the professional butlers and personal male and female servants had the highest status and treatment.

Although it is called an employment system, most of these carefully selected servants are actually old-timers who have lived through the Night Elf Empire era, and they still retain some of the old-fashioned ideas about their employers.

Andreas and Shandris were too busy with work to correct these people's values, and Celeste, being the eldest daughter of the Highborne family, was more accustomed to the atmosphere of this old aristocratic mansion.

Over thousands of years, the rules of Moonshadow Manor have been passed down.

Those who are unwilling to accept this option can choose temporary employment. Although the salary is not as high as that of servants in the inner quarters, at least they can maintain a high degree of freedom.

Shandris and Celeste, along with other core family members, each have their own personal maids. After thousands of years of living together, these maids have long since mastered their masters' habits, making them exceptionally comfortable to use.

Compared to the domineering noblemen and ladies of the old era, the core members of the Moonshadow Family did not have the bad habits of being arrogant and beating or scolding their servants.

Andreas, a proponent of republicanism, believed that all people are equal, at least in terms of their personal dignity.

Even though their jobs are different and their status and income are vastly different, the servants in the house and their employers are no different in essence as human beings.

The Moonshadow Family's traditions continue Andreas' philosophy.

Most of the servants who were employed long-term were those who had stayed since the manor was established thousands of years ago.

During the Night Elf Empire era, servants in the aristocratic circles all had their own channels of communication.

They all have their own scales in their hearts, judging which family is worthy of loyalty and which family enjoys mistreating servants.

For thousands of years, the Moonshadow Family has maintained a good relationship with its servants, and many of the unattached servants have come to regard Moonshadow Manor as their own home.

The Moonshadow Family's head butler is named Wilford Rend, who has no surname and originally served the Sunstrider Family.

When Dath Remar led the Highborne eastward, he left Celeste in Kalimdor. Wilfred Rend, who had watched Celeste grow up, was also left behind to take care of the young lady along with a group of Sunstrider Family maids.

The core servants of the Moonshadow Family were initially assembled by Sunstrider Family servants such as Wilfred Rend.

Wilfred Rend is a capable person with extremely high emotional intelligence; he knows what to say and what not to ask.

Xal'atath's sudden appearance was naturally noticed by him, but he never expressed any opinion on the matter, taking Xal'atath's existence for granted.

" Estaria?"

Andreas looked at Wilfred Rend in surprise, "What's that brat doing here?"

Estaria, Fandral's beloved granddaughter, and Vastann and Leiana's only daughter.

Perhaps due to being spoiled by her grandfather since childhood, Estaria, who is already an adult, is notorious for being mischievous in Astranaar and is considered an absolute devil in the eyes of the children of Astranaar.

Wilford Rend calmly replied, "According to Miss Estaria herself, it was Staghelm Archdruid who sent her to deliver a message, hoping to invite the Moonshadow Family to a family dinner party soon."

"Family dinner..."

Andreas tapped his forehead with his finger, puzzled. "Will, what do you think? What's Fandral up to now?"

Wilford Rend smiled and analyzed, "Actually, it's not hard to guess. When Lady Aurora was born, Lord Staghelm also showed a similar tendency."

"Um?"

Andreas raised an eyebrow, glanced at Sirius sleeping soundly in his arms, and quickly realized what was going on.

"That old bastard wants his granddaughter to mate with a young girl? And he wants to increase his seniority?!"

Fandral's wife died early, and he only had one son, Vastann, whom he cared for dearly from a young age, treating him like a precious gem.

Fortunately, Vastann proved himself capable. Although he was raised to be rather arrogant by Fandral when he was young, with the experience of the years, he has now become one of the pillars of the middle generation of Night Elf Republic.

Vastann was successful in his career and his love life was also going smoothly. His relationship with Leiana developed naturally, and they had Estaria, their child, shortly after their marriage.

Of course, this "soon" is based on Night Elves ' time standard...

Although Estaria is spoiled by Fandral, she's not exactly a bad kid. She just likes to play pranks and, despite her age, still gives off the impression of never growing up.

The Moonshadow and Staghelm families have always had a good relationship. Back when Aurora was born, Fandral intended for Vastann to mate with a younger woman, but Andreas refused.

Fandral never gave up and still wanted to marry into the Moonshadow Family, but unfortunately Aurora never got married, so there would be no third-generation Moonshadow Family members.

Sirius's birth rekindled Fandral's hope, and after Wilfred Rend's subtle reminder, Andreas immediately realized what was happening.

"No way!"

When Sirius's biological mother, Celeste, learned of this, she immediately expressed her displeasure.

"Absolutely not! Seniority doesn't matter, Night Elves doesn't care about that anyway, but Estaria is absolutely out of the question!"

Andreas shrugged dismissively. "I wasn't planning on agreeing to it anyway."

Shandris tried to smooth things over, saying, "There's no need to get so worked up. Just find a reason to refuse Fandral, and he should understand what we're implying."

Andreas nodded and said, "I've already had Will refine the wording of his reply."

Shandris and Andreas were not good at socializing in high society, so they decided to focus their energy on their work rather than attend such meaningless banquets.

Celeste usually planned these social engagements to handle unavoidable invitations in the most efficient way, while the rejection letters were all handed over to Old Will to polish, making them as tactful and sincere as possible.

Shandris said with a wry smile, "It's all thanks to Celeste ' management and the servants that Dath'Remar left behind; otherwise, the order in the manor would be in complete chaos."

Andreas and Shandris were both commoners and not familiar with the rules of the nobility. In addition, they were busy with daily affairs and had too many important matters of Azeroth to worry about, so they were really not good at managing the family's internal affairs.

In contrast, Celeste, who came from a noble Highborne family, was much more adept at this.

After resigning as principal of the new Nalath Academy, Celeste spent most of his time managing family affairs, except for occasionally serving as Andreas' secretary.

"Hmph~"

Celeste, pleased with the praise, raised his head and said, "I can't be of much help with national affairs, but at least let me do what I can."

Leticia, who was teasing Brightwing, suddenly raised her hand and said, "I have a suggestion. Why don't we take a trip while Andreas is on vacation and avoid Fandral's harassment?"

Aurora quickly raised her hand, "I agree! It's rare to have some free time, let's go out and relax."

Andreas and Shandris exchanged a glance, then turned their gaze to Celeste. "What do you two think?"

"Hmm…" Shandris lowered his head and considered for a moment. "I don't have much of a problem. Daelin is already capable of handling things on her own. It's not wartime now. Even if Leticia and I go out, it's not a big problem to leave the daily military affairs to her."

Celeste smiled and nodded, "I'm fine with that too. It'll be a good opportunity for Sirius to go out and broaden his horizons."

"Okay, it's settled then."

Andreas finally made the decision: "You can suggest places you'd like to go, and make all the necessary preparations in advance. We'll depart in ten days."

...

Even without Andreas at its helm, the Night Elf Republic maintained a steady growth trend during the post-war peace period.

Based on the intelligence sent back by Kel'Thuzad, it can be basically confirmed that the new Lich King is a soul-stitched entity.

By combining the essence of Arthas and Ner'zhul, Lich King possesses both Arthas' fortitude and decisiveness and Ner'zhul's meticulous planning ability.

Before launching a surprise attack to reclaim the Frozen Throne, Lich King's cautious nature prevailed, and he patiently plotted with Kel'Thuzad how to accomplish this difficult task.

During his vacation, Andreas had no interest in keeping up with those skeletons. He instructed Prisim to relay the news to Malfurion and Fandral, who were presiding over the council, and continued to take his family sightseeing.

For their first stop, Andreas chose to revisit familiar territory. Instead of using a teleportation scroll, the family specially built a large magical RV and slowly drove overland to Moonshadow's Rest on the west coast of Ashenvale.

Andreas and the others completely put aside their work worries and fully enjoyed the family trip, accompanied by a strange maid who was completely covered up from head to toe.

Little Sirius has never left Astranaar since birth; he has never even fully explored the city where he lives.

The lush greenery and fresh air of Ashenvale can be clearly felt through the open-top seats in the front of the RV, and the little guy was very excited throughout the journey.

Xal'atath is also using her own body to travel around for the first time. When she arrives at Moonshadow's Rest, she will be amazed by the lifelike giant Elune statue in front of the Moonshadow Church and will be excited by the passionate atmosphere in the arena.

The experience of observing through Andreas' lens is completely different from his own personal experience. As Sarthaion's body continues to become more flesh and blood, he gradually adopts the Mortal mindset as he delves deeper into Mortal society.

Six months later, when I drove to Eversong, south of Kalimdor, Xal'atath's steel body had softened considerably.

This secluded city, with an atmosphere completely different from Moonshadow's Rest and Astranaar, gave Sarthaion and Sirius a different feeling.

Sindorei The research atmosphere among the Scholars is relatively relaxed, quite different from Astranaar' colleagues who are racing against time to meet deadlines.

The pace of life in the secluded city is relatively quiet and leisurely, while Suramar's urban atmosphere is mainly elegant and noble.

Even after escaping Mana Addiction's control, these Highborne descendants still maintain their pursuit of quality of life, sharing some similarities with the atmosphere of Quel' Thalas, but also exhibiting distinct differences in certain aspects.

When the amphibious multi-purpose motorhome crossed the sea to reach the Eastern Kingdoms and drove into Silvermoon City under the strange gazes of the High Elves, Xal'atath had already removed his veil and thick gloves.

Recently, Shandris and Celeste have been giving their husband strange looks. Andreas knows what they're thinking and has repeatedly offered innocent explanations.

"Don't look at me, I didn't choose this look. I just customized it according to her requirements."

The appearance Xal'atath chose was not perfect, at least not quite matching Azshara's flawless beauty.

When it was still a metal body, nothing was noticeable, but once it was fully fleshed out, Xal'atath's deliberately highlighted beauty and charm were exposed without any concealment.

Passing High Elves would unconsciously cast their gazes at the stunning Sarthaion. In Andreas ' words, Sarthaion's aura could be summed up in one word.

Charm.

Unlike the heroic beauty of Shandris and the gentle charm of Celeste, Xal'atath's appearance and temperament are more likely to arouse the most primal desires of male intelligent beings.

Unfortunately, this beautiful woman was dressed in a maid outfit that clearly indicated her identity, and most of the men along the way, the High Elves, turned their envious and jealous gazes toward the only adult male in the family. Shandris and Celeste's gazes toward their husbands also became increasingly hostile.

Saratassa's naturally alluring appearance instilled a sense of crisis in the two women, and despite Andreas' repeated and sincere explanations, they never relaxed their vigilance towards Sarthassa.

The ancient gods, adept at understanding people's hearts, had long noticed the change in the two's attitudes, but causing trouble was Sarthaion's hobby.

Xal'atath, with a gleeful smile, deliberately fanned the flames at Andreas' predicament.

However, this ancient goddess lady knew how to keep her distance, repeatedly teetering on the edge of Celeste and Shandris' tolerance limits, leaving them in a dilemma of whether to lash out or remain silent.

When Sun King met Kael'thas, he was puzzled by the strange atmosphere that permeated the family.

Kael'thas, a straight man, is not yet married, and it is said that his queen mother is looking for a suitable queen for him.

Instinctively sensing something was off about the family, Kael'thas welcomed the Moonshadow Family's trip to Quel'Thalas on a personal note, but soon buried himself in documents again, citing busy official business.

"... Andreas, what are you up to now? Trying to add a new member to the Moonshadow Family?"

Although Alleria, being a woman, has a rather quirky personality, she is much more perceptive than Kael'thas and immediately sees the root cause of Shandris and Celeste' displeasure.

Andreas waved his hand weakly. "How could that be? This guy's situation is rather special. I still consider her a usable object."

"A usable object?!"

Alleria's expression grew even stranger. "So this is your kind of thing..."

"No, that's not it!" Andreas' forehead veins bulged. "I meant weapons! Not what you think!"

"Just kidding, don't get worked up."

Alleria glanced at the oppressive atmosphere hanging over the Moonshadow Family, then crouched down and, under Sirius's disapproving expression, gently rubbed his chubby little face, bidding Andreas farewell with a pitying look.

"In short, good luck to you."

...

This spontaneous family trip lasted about a year and a half. If it weren't for the important news from Astranaar, Andreas originally planned to complete his road trip around Azeroth.

Unfortunately, before they could reach Pandaria, Malfurion excitedly prayed to Elune, who, through the moon goddess, informed Andreas and his family that Tyrande, who had been in seclusion for many years, had finally emerged.

Shandris and Celeste weren't stupid. With Leticia and Aurora watching the drama unfold, the two finally figured out Sarthaion's true nature.

This ancient goddess didn't actually have any improper thoughts about Andreas; it was purely out of the Old Gods' nature to manipulate people's hearts and spread rumors, and they wanted to see a chaotic scene that broke away from order.

Even though the chaos only shrouded this small family, it still brought Sarthaion a deep sense of joy.

Having figured out the truth, the two quickly calmed down and stopped paying attention to Sarthaion's various attempts to provoke them. Over time, Sarthaion, feeling bored, also quieted down.

However, the Ancient Goddess did not give up on creating limited chaos. She changed her approach to continue stirring up trouble, and this time the person she used as a tool was none other than Azshara, the former Night Queen whom Shandris had always been worried about.

Before Xal'atath could even begin his plans, the oracle of Elune arrived, forcing Andreas and the others to abandon their journey and hastily teleport back to Mount Hyjal.

A year and a half passed, and Azeroth lived an unusually peaceful life.

After the decisive battle with N'Zoth, all races focused on recuperation and development. Even the Alliance and Horde, who disliked each other, restrained their conflicts and worked hard to improve their internal affairs.

Lich King, on the other hand, was starting to get restless. Kel'Thuzad's contact was becoming more and more frequent, and Andreas was already mentally prepared to return to Astranaar. Tyrande's departure from the pass was just one of the triggers.

Upon returning to Astranaar, Andreas first sent Sirius, who was over three years old and already capable of living independently, back to the manor, instructing Wilfred Rend and the maids to take care of him.

Xal'atath was also left at the manor. Wilfred Rend frowned slightly at the beautiful face of the maid whom the master called Sarah, but he wisely said nothing and calmly arranged the handover of his personal maid.

Upon seeing Tyrande again, Shandris first respectfully bowed to his mentor.

"Mentor, congratulations on successfully emerging from seclusion as a demigod."

Tyrande's demeanor was slightly more ethereal compared to before her seclusion. She smiled and helped Shandris up. "Thank you. You've worked so hard these past few years. I heard your family has a new member? I'll definitely pay a visit in a few days so I can see the adorable little one."

"Okay, I'll be waiting for my mentor at any time."

Compared to Tyrande's rosy complexion, Malfurion appeared somewhat weak, occasionally reaching out to lightly pound his lower back like an elderly person.

"Um..."

Andreas, Fandral, and Jarod, who had been through it all, exchanged glances, and a look of understanding appeared in their eyes at the same time.

With keen senses, Maiev elbowed her brother in the side. "What are you three doing, exchanging those lewd glances? Just say what you want!"

Jarod rubbed his lower back with a bitter expression. "Sister, we were just welcoming back Andreas after so long. You don't have to be so harsh with me, do you? No wonder you couldn't find him..."

"Um?!"

Maiev's eyebrows furrowed, and even a straight woman like her could guess what Jarod meant by the unspoken second half of his sentence... After all, she was indeed no longer young.

"Say it again?"

Jarod frantically shook his head like a rattle-drum, "No, no, no! I didn't say anything... Ugh!"

Jarod is really unlucky to have a tyrannical sister who's more likely to use her hands than her words.

"Cough~"

With a light cough to help Jarod out of the predicament, Andreas, as the Speaker, welcomed Tyrande as he emerged from the pass.

"First of all, the entire council welcomes the High Priest's return and congratulates you on becoming the fifth demigod of the Night Elves."

"five?"

Tyrande raised an eyebrow. "You, me, Shandris, Malfurion, and who else?"

Malfurion sighed and said, " Azshara."

" Azshara?!"

After Tyrande emerged from the country, he was busy messing around with Malfurion and was not very aware of the current world situation.

"What exactly happened? Azshara has finally shown up?"

Receiving a signal from Andreas, Malfurion patted Tyrande on the shoulder, indicating that she should sit down first.

"It's a long story. We happen to have some related matters to discuss, so let's go over the details together."

After listening to Malfurion's account, Tyrande's brow furrowed deeply.

"I never imagined so many things would happen during my seclusion: the Naga's massive invasion, the joint actions of the Azeroth Allied Forces, the Azshara's betrayal, the destruction of N'Zoth, the reappearance of the Lich King, and the Azshara's progress in studying N'Zoth's corpse. "

Indeed, the matter Malfurion mentioned is based on Azshara's research findings.

After more than a year of intensive analysis, Azshara is only one step away from fully understanding N'Zoth's body modification technology.

However, this step is difficult to break through in a short period of time. To complete the deep genetic modification of the Mortal race, the prerequisite is to become an immortal true god.

The Night Elves, blessed by the Well of Eternity, and the dragons, transformed by the Titans, can only be considered immortal.

Although they possess a lifespan unmatched by other Mortals, humans die when killed, and immortality does not mean eternal life. Like dragons, Night Elves will perish due to various wars and natural disasters.

After reaching the level of demigods, Andreas and the others gained the ability of immortal souls.

Even if the physical body is destroyed, as long as the planet where the soul resides does not perish, a demigod can resurrect by rebuilding their physical body through a long process.

The true god is a step above the demigod realm; only by reaching this realm can one truly achieve the immortality of the soul and body.

Theoretically speaking, unless two god-level beings tear off their masks and fight to the death, a true god's body, with its terrifying defensive capabilities, is virtually impossible to destroy.

Sargeras' feat of destroying Pantheon is not replicable at all. Even if Sargeras were to do it again, he might not be able to win by launching a surprise attack and killing Aggramar first.

Although Sargeras destroyed the Titans' solid bodies with a terrifying storm of Fel Energy, their souls survived under the protection of Norgannon.

As long as they can successfully return to Pantheon, the Titans can reshape their bodies at any time.

However, Sargeras was not stupid. After realizing he had been deceived, he immediately blocked all interstellar routes to Pantheon and guarded the Titans' souls adrift in space.

Ultimately, he captured these Titan souls and brought them back to Argus to be handed over to the Destructor. A witch will torment you in every way, only a giver of life Eonar narrowly escaped.

"Does one need to reach the level of a true god to freely perform genetic modification...?"

Andreas sighed regretfully, "Well, it seems that the Night Elves ' low birth rate will have to continue until one of us demigods is promoted to a true god."

Tyrande gritted his teeth unhappily. " Andreas, although I also have many grievances against you, I still hope that you can become a true god before Azshara."

"ha?"

Andreas looked around and saw that everyone, including Aurora and Leticia, was looking at him with hopeful eyes.

"Wait a minute."

Andreas rubbed his temples, looking exasperated. "What do you take the true god for, a cabbage?"

"I asked Elune, "There are countless habitable planets in the vast universe, and many of them have native demigods, but very few can go on to become true gods."

Andreas spread his hands and said, "The genius Azshara became a demigod ten thousand years ago. She spent ten thousand years but still couldn't break through that barrier. What merit do I have to break through before her?"

At her peak, Azshara was already close to being a true god, which is why she was confident that she could eventually stand on equal footing with Elune.

However, Andreas estimates that Azshara is unaware that Elune is not simply a true god; her rank should be higher than that of ordinary deities.

Azshara has a long way to go before he can fly up and stand shoulder to shoulder with Elune.

Tyrande shook his head and said, "You definitely can't catch up with Azshara on your own, but don't forget, as a chosen one of the gods, you also have Elune's help."

Malfurion added, "That's right. Elune is an experienced person, and she must have her own understanding and experience on how to become a god. You might as well ask the moon goddess for advice. Maybe you can break through before Azshara?"

"Hmph~"

Elune chuckled triumphantly in Andreas' mind at the opportune moment, "I also hope that my followers can go a step further and truly become my followers. Come and flatter me, and maybe I'll tell you the secret if I'm in a good mood."

Andreas' lips twitched. He felt that he had somehow led the once aloof and otherworldly moon goddess astray.

"Okay, I'll give it a try, but don't get your hopes up too high."

Andreas said helplessly to everyone present, "The greater the hope, the greater the disappointment. I will do my best to speed up my progress, but if I still can't catch up in the end..."

Fandral laughed heartily, "That's just a natural result. After all, Azshara has had ten thousand more years to comprehend things than you. Don't put any psychological burden on yourself."

With Tyrande's ascension to demigod status, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the next candidate will likely be one of Fandral, Maiev, or Celeste.

If there is a true god within the race, the later demigods will undoubtedly avoid many detours. This is also related to the personal interests of the Night Elves' leadership, and they are all happy to see Andreas ' breakthrough.

"Okay, let's leave this at that for now and change the subject."

Andreas glanced at Tyrande. "Regarding the resurgence of the Lich King, I intend to entrust the task of completely eradicating the Scourge to the High Priest."

This was something Andreas had arranged with Tyrande, who was still in seclusion, through Elune long ago. Tyrande, who had just broken through, did need a practice partner, and Lich King was just right.

"snort!"

Tyrande smiled expectantly. "That would be perfect. I've been holding back for years, and I'm planning to get moving."

Everyone present turned their attention to Malfurion, whose figure was somewhat hunched.

'Didn't you already participate in the activity...?'

Malfurion sensed the teasing looks from his colleagues, and with a slightly embarrassed expression, he changed the subject, "Then it's settled. Just let us know what kind of adjutant or legion you need."

"Oh, right, there's one more thing."

Andreas suddenly slammed his fist down. "High Priest, after purifying the Lich King, remember to keep his Helmet of Domination. I still need it."

"Okay, I'll bring it back intact."

...

After finishing his research on N'Zoth, Azshara, who had been working day and night for over a year, felt somewhat melancholy.

Although she successfully obtained the answer, the limitations of the realm required for deep genetic modification made her very unhappy.

Andreas summoned Velen and teleported them to the underground laboratory to completely purify the last remnants of N'Zoth on this world.

Velen wiped the sweat from her brow and was about to turn back to Andreas to discuss the development of the second-generation rejection power furnace.

Velen paused for a moment when she saw Azshara's gaze from behind Andreas, then bid farewell to Andreas with a strange expression.

"Gentlemen, I shall take my leave now."

" Andreas, remember to come to Lost Isles when you have time. Hataru says he has some new ideas about the dissipation reactor that he would like to discuss with you."

Seeing Velen hurriedly step into the portal opened by Azshara, Andreas tilted his head in confusion, "Why the rush?"

"Phew~".

"Alas!"

The hot air blowing into his ears sent a shiver down Andreas' spine, and the soft hands used great force to firmly hold Andreas, who was trying to escape, in place.

"Hehe~ Little Andreas, where do you want to go?"
