Chapter 373 - Careful

Before his fall, Sargeras was Pantheon's most powerful warrior, a noble bronze Titan.

At that time, he possessed the most powerful weapon in the universe, a longsword imbued with spirit and self-awareness known as Ghuun – Dark Arbiter.

With the help of ghuun, Sargeras roams the universe with his Invincible Hand. Whether it is a demon or a Void Creature, anything that dares to stand in his way will be purified by ghuun into the most primordial life essence.

As Sargeras fell into corruption, the ghuun no longer obeyed the commands of its former master. As Fallen Titan grew demonic wings and horns, the ghuun automatically split in two.

Sargeras hastily seized a portion of the broken sword, which became his current weapon, the gorribal.

The other half of the broken sword crossed vast distances to find Aggramar, Sargeras ' lieutenant, and became the powerful artifact tsarach in his hands.

After delivering his broken parts to Aggramar, ghuun's weapon spirit disappeared without a trace.

Although the broken swords wielded by Aggramar and Sargeras still retained considerable power, they no longer possessed the world-destroying power that Sargeras once wielded to destroy stars.

A legend has long circulated in the universe that once the two broken swords are reunited in the hands of a powerful being of the Order, the Dark Arbiter will be reborn.

No one knows whether the legend is true or false, and to this day, no one has been able to meet the conditions described in the legend.

After Sargeras killed Aggramar and Pantheon's brethren, he made several attempts to reforge the two broken swords, but each time he completed the reforging, the two parts of the broken swords would automatically split apart again.

Having fallen into the chaotic camp, Sargeras could no longer gain the Dark Arbiter's approval. After a series of fruitless experiments, Sargeras had no choice but to give up trying.

After completely corrupting Aggramar, Sargeras returned tsarach to the Avengers.

Even though its power is greatly diminished, tsarach can still exert tremendous destructive force in the hands of the corrupted Aggramar.

Andreas used the creative power of Chaos Power to create a high wall that temporarily blocked Aggramar's path. Under tsarach's slashing, the wall began to crumble.

While the high wall had not yet collapsed, Eonar focused on observing Aggramar's current state.

"I understand."

Eonar raised his hands and summoned countless random creatures made of life force.

Commanding them to charge at Aggramar and slow him down, Eonar stepped back and explained to Andreas, " Aggramar now has a physical form; his soul is sealed within this demon-made body."

"Although Aggramar's soul instinctively succumbed to endless torment, his struggle should not have completely ceased."

"If we can destroy this cursed body and free Aggramar's soul, I can use the power of life to soothe his soul's wounds and awaken Aggramar from his corruption and depravity."

"Destroy the body...?"

Andreas kept trying to attack with the devastating Chaos Power, but even when surrounded by a large number of energy creatures, Aggramar was still able to block Andreas' attacks with his divine greatsword.

The invincible Chaos Power could not cause enough damage to Tsarach when it hit it. Even with only a portion of its power remaining, this cosmic artifact was still very sturdy.

" Aggramar's combat instincts are too strong; I can't accurately hit him while he's moving."

Chaos Power possesses both the power of creation and destruction, perfectly fused together like the duality of light and shadow.

Andreas used Chaos Power to create various ranged weapons to attack Aggramar, but each time the Avenger, with his incredibly rich combat experience, narrowly dodged them.

"I need your support to help me create an opportunity to defeat the enemy in one strike!"

Azshara took a deep breath, his hand gestures constantly changing as he cast spells.

"I try my best to focus, because the opportunity may only last for a moment."

The energy creatures summoned by Eonar vanished in droves under Tsarach's wielding, and the high wall raised by Andreas was finally shattered.

Aggramar roared a battle cry, his muscular legs suddenly pushing off the ground as he leaped high over the half-collapsed wall, swinging his tsarach down at the three men.

"brush!"

Azshara once again used magic to teleport space, and Aggramar's attack cleaved deep into the earth, causing violent earthquakes to occur throughout Antoran Wastes.

"Now!"

Azshara's hands were fixed in place with complex hand gestures, and before the old Aggramar could readjust his posture, the small space centered on him was completely fixed in place.

A rectangular spatial prison confined Aggramar within. Thick vines summoned by Eonar with all his might traversed the spatial rifts deliberately left by Azshara, firmly binding Aggramar's limbs and suspending him in mid-air in an ethereal shape.

The opportunity was fleeting, and as Aggramar began to forcefully break the vines, Andreas turned the Staff of Ganir towards the Avengers.

The tear of Elune shimmered with a silvery-gray light, and Chaos Power gathered in large quantities.

As Aggramar broke free of the vines and prepared to shatter space, the entire rectangular space was illuminated by a blinding silver light, and violent energy fluctuations erupted from the stripped space.

Azshara barely held on for two seconds before the energy bursting from within shattered the entire space, illuminating the entire Antoran Wastes.

Countless spatial fragments of varying sizes appeared within a small area, with Aggramar's shattered obsidian body also mixed in among them.

Despite the destructive power of the highly concentrated Chaos Power, the divine greatsword Tsarach remained intact. As Aggramar's body shattered, it fell from the sky, the broken sword embedding itself directly into the earth.

"roar!"

Having broken free of his physical restraints, Aggramar roared wildly to the sky. His soul form looked completely different from his previous black and red body.

Although his winged helmet and armor were very similar, his skin had turned blue-gray, his armor was predominantly silver, and his eyes emitted not flames, but blue-white lightning.

" Eonar, it's up to you."

Giver of Life nodded solemnly, opening his arms to easily summon a rich life force on this planet filled with Fel Energy.

These emerald energies gently enveloped Aggramar, and the piercing roar of the Avenger's soul gradually subsided and disappeared.

Seeing Eonar's relieved expression, Andreas asked softly, "All done?"

"Um."

Eonar smiled with relief. "Although it will take some time for Aggramar's soul to recover, the trauma and shadows that Sargeras and the witch would leave deep in his soul have been largely removed."

"Let's keep going."

Eonar pulled Aggramar's soul, which was lying flat in mid-air, to his side and carefully continued to use his life force to heal his injuries.

"After entering the Burning Throne main building, I will temporarily leave the party to continue healing Aggramar's injuries. The mere witch guild shouldn't pose any threat to you, right?"

Witches do have a way of tormenting people's bodies and souls, but that doesn't change the fact that they are only demigods and lack combat power.

"Oh, right."

Eonar beckoned to the tsarach stuck in the ground, and the greatsword obediently flew into the hands of the giver of life.

Using divine power, Eonar shrunk tsarach, then turned it upside down and presented it to Andreas and Azshara.

" Even if Aggramar regains his senses, he will be unable to participate in the battle for the time being. You will be entrusted with the use of this powerful artifact for now."

"Uh~"

Andreas glanced at the shrunken Tsarach and scratched his short silver hair in frustration.

" Eonar, neither Azshara nor I are the type to fight in close combat. If we were given this sword, no one would know how to use it."

Eonar smiled and shook his head. "Even if you just use it as an energy amplifier, Tsarach can still produce good results."

"I have a feeling I can't quite put into words, perhaps the Dark Arbiter... " " Ghuun will be recreated in your hands."

"All right."

Since Eonar had said so, Andreas reached out and took the hilt of Tsarach's sword.

"I will temporarily keep this artifact safe, and Aggramar will return it immediately when he needs to use it."

Andreas had his own reasons for accepting Tsarach. Although he didn't know how to use a greatsword, what if the legend was true?

Once Sargeras loses gorribal, his strength will inevitably be diminished.

Conversely, if one could wield the immensely powerful ghuun, even without a sword, its inherent intelligence and self-awareness would allow it to unleash considerable power, potentially delivering a decisive blow in the final battle.

...

After Hasabel defected to Kiljaeden, portal Keepers opened all the gates from the central area to all areas of Antorus.

The demigod squad led by Kiljaeden and Velen is still engaged in fierce battle with the Antoran High Command at the Eye of the Legion.

The demon elites within Antorus are converging on the Eye of the Legion, even slowing down the pace of reinforcements to the front lines outside the gates.

The demons of Burning Legion know all too well the dire consequences of losing command during wartime.

No one could have predicted that the enemy would bypass the front and infiltrate directly into Antorus. The corrupted Aggramar also sensed the urgency of the situation and instinctively left the Hall of the Soul of the World, attempting to intercept the enemy before they destroyed the command center.

However, Aggramar, who had just merged with his new body, was unable to unleash his full power and was defeated by three enemies of true god level.

With the final obstacle to the Burning Throne hall gone, Eonar, as she had instructed, remained in a corner of the first-floor hall to continue tending to Aggramar's injuries, hoping to help him regain consciousness before the final battle.

Many powerful demons still remained guarding the Burning Throne, but in the eyes of Andreas and Azshara, even the most elite demon guards were nothing more than cannon fodder.

To provide Eonar with a relatively safe environment for healing, Andreas used a shadow barrier to conceal her and Aggramar in a corner, while also working with Azshara to clear out most of the demons along the way.

Destructor The hall where the Witch Guild is located is called the Hall of Pain, and the guards nearby are all Destructors of the Sylvanas race.

Judging solely from appearance and figure, Sylvanas fits Mortal's aesthetic standards.

But their six hands, each wielding a weapon, looked extremely eerie, and like other demons, the Destructor wore a cruel and bloodthirsty smile.

"Snap!"

Andreas wielded the Staff of Ganir, and the light blades unleashed by Chaos Power sliced the Destructors in their path into irregular halves.

Azshara easily threw any enemies who dared to approach him into another dimension, and some of the Destructor's bodies lost various parts due to spatial distortion and tearing.

As they entered the Painful Hall, several screams mingled together reached Andreas and Azshara's ears.

Four Sylvanas warriors, whose strength was clearly superior to the other minions, were casting spells on the red orb in the center of the hall. Energy threads that split from the orb connected the four corners of the hall.

The sudden appearance of Andreas and Azshara clearly caught the four leaders of the Witch Society somewhat off guard; they hadn't expected Aggramar to be defeated so quickly.

To avoid the punishment of finding Sargeras after the spell was stopped, two of the Destructors continued to maintain the spell, while two others turned around to face the intruder.

'Fire, frost, shadow, and Fel Energy?'

Andreas immediately saw through the attributes of the four witch leaders. The first to step forward to face them were two members who used fire and Fel Energy.

Andreas turned his head to look at Azshara, whose eyes were somewhat unfriendly. "Shall you do it, or shall I?"

Hehe~

Azshara sneered with displeasure, "Leave it to me. These foolish demons dare to be so arrogant. I won't let them die too easily."

Andreas consciously stepped back two steps, giving the fighting position to Ashara.

Although the four high-ranking demigods inevitably had to put in some effort, they ultimately failed to pose any significant obstacle to Azshara.

Andreas took this opportunity to study the magical principles of the Witch Guild and to think about how to rescue the tormented souls of the Titans.

In the four corners of the Hall of Pain, pure, pale blue souls floated. None of the four souls had taken on a physical form, and the wailing that echoed throughout the hall came from these souls.

If Andreas is not mistaken, they are Pantheon. The Titans ' souls come from Amanthul, Norgannon, Gorgones, and Khazgorite.

The witches ' ongoing spells are aimed at these four souls. Crimson threads bind their freedom, and with each flash of the red orb, the souls' wails grow more agonizing.

While Andreas carefully observed the environment, Azshara had already effortlessly dealt with the Destructor who used Fel Energy.

The space torn open behind her sucked in half of the unprepared Destructor. No matter how much the Destructor, whose name was still unknown, screamed, her body could not escape the suction from the other dimension.

Azshara kept her promise and did not take the enemy's life so easily. The Destructor struggled frantically to avoid falling into the abyss, but she could only maintain a half-fallen state, harassing her companions with her pitiful cries for help.

Realizing they had seriously underestimated their enemy, the remaining two Destructors, who had originally intended to continue the torture spells, finally couldn't hold back any longer and temporarily stopped casting spells to join the siege of Azshara.

Their plan was well-thought-out. The Flame Destructor used six enchanted fire weapons for close combat, while the Shadow and Frost attacked from behind, taking the opportunity to pull Fel Energy out of the alternate dimension.

A strange smile flashed across Azshara's face, and suddenly countless small spatial rifts opened in the hall. Energy arms extending from the alternate dimension grabbed the three Destructors and pulled them back simultaneously.

"What's this?!"

The three Destructors struggled desperately, trying to break free from the energy arms' grip, no longer able to care about the Fel Energy gradually sinking into the alternate dimension. The Destructor's desperate screams.

While Azshara was having fun, Andreas unleashed a chaotic beam of light that pierced the red orb in the center of the hall. He then used his exquisite power to pluck out all the energy threads one by one, and a sigh of relief and liberation echoed throughout the hall.

The souls bound in the four corners of the hall drifted out and gradually coalesced into four blurry soul phantoms in front of Andreas.

"Cough cough!"

The leading Titans spirit, dressed in a blue robe and with a full white beard, coughed painfully twice, let out a long breath, and collapsed to the ground.

"Unfamiliar deities, I sincerely thank you for your help."

Another Titans spirit, wearing a hood and dressed as a mage, said with a wry smile, "If you had arrived a few days later, the entire material universe would have been hopeless."

After a brief rest, the four men's spirits became more focused. The white-bearded Titans, who was in the lead, struggled to sit up straight and politely nodded to Andreas.

"I am Amanthul, the leader of Pantheon and the father of the gods."

"No matter where you come from, Pantheon and the entire universe need your help."

"etc!"

Khazgorite, the sculptor with bronze skin and a typical dwarf beard, suddenly reached out and called a halt.

His eyes were fixed on the greatsword that Andreas carried on his back.

"This is... a shrunken Tsarach?"

Khazgorite's words drew the attention of the other three Titans. Amanthul frowned at Andreas, who was barely knee-high, and asked, "Stranger, why is Tsarach, who has long been in Sargeras' hands, now in yours?"

By this time, Azshara had already dealt with four Destructors, and the infamous witch would become history from this day forward.

To save time, Andreas told them about the origins of tsarach as simply as possible.

While Andreas was explaining to the Titans, Azshara used teleportation to bring Eonar, who was hiding at the entrance of the hall healing Aggramar's soul, over.

Seeing that her four compatriots had escaped safely, Giver of Life was excited and planned to go forward to meet them. However, considering Aggramar's dire situation, she stopped after taking just one step.

Amanthul stroked his beard with satisfaction and laughed, "Haha~ So it was the helper my wife found. You've really worked hard these past few days."

With a gentle smile, Eonar shook his head. "That's not the case. It was these children of Azeroth who voluntarily crossed the stars to come to Argus. I was only able to escape the Burning Legion's pursuit thanks to their rescue."

" Azeroth?"

Norgannon stared at Azshara and Andreas in astonishment. " Azeroth can already give birth to children of divine caliber? So that means..."

"No, I'm sorry." Andreas shrugged. " Azeroth's Azeroth is not yet mature. The various influences caused by the three Old Gods over tens of thousands of years have slowed down her growth."

Azshara interjected at the opportune moment, "Gentlemen, now is not the time for long speeches. Sargeras could arrive at any moment, so we must begin preparations in advance."

Azshara's words startled the curious Titans present. Amanthul nodded solemnly and said, "That's right, we'll leave these minor details for after the war."

Turning his gaze to Andreas, Amanthul asked seriously, " Andreas, do you have a way to get us back to Pantheon?"

"Although our souls are still very weak, as long as we can return to our thrones and recover a little, we can activate the seal that was prepared for Sargeras long ago and end his mad expedition."

Back then, the Titans of Pantheon were not entirely unprepared for Sargeras. Norgannon and Khazgorite had long prepared a seal to seal him away, but Amanthul, out of his love for his brother, decided to make one last attempt to persuade him.

Unfortunately, his momentary leniency ruined a promising situation, and Amanthul regretted it more than once during his tens of thousands of years of wandering souls.

This time, the Allfather would not hesitate any longer; he was determined to seal Sargeras away for eternity, ending the chaos the Demon Lord had brought to the universe.

Andreas turned to look at Azshara, and the Queen responded to his expectation with a knowing look before stepping into the silent passageway that had been torn open.

"Spatial power?"

Gorgoneth, a junior among the Titans, sighed with emotion, "I never imagined that a god who grew from flesh and blood Mortal could wield such powerful authority... My prejudice was too narrow."

Before the Titans could continue their discussion about the flesh-and-blood creatures, Azshara emerged from the spatial portal once more, this time bringing Illidan with her.

The demigod squad has just finished a battle with the Antoran Council of Commanders, successfully killing three Eredar who remained loyal to Sargeras.

Before Illidan could even savor his victory, Azshara pulled him over. When he saw the several Titans present, even the proud Demon Hunter couldn't help but be taken aback.

Andreas solemnly said to Illidan, "It's time to open the passage to Pantheon. The local garrison should have been lured away."

Illidan was an efficient man; without much talk, he took out the Sargerite Keystone and opened a passage to the planet Pantheon.

Before Amanthul and the others stepped into the portal, the Weaver Norgannon gave them a final reminder.

" Andreas, please be very careful, the road ahead for you may not be so smooth."

"While we are preparing to seal it, please try to stop Sargeras and his remaining helpers."

'helper?'

Andreas glanced at Aggramar, who was being carried into the portal by Gogones.

' Aggramar has been defeated, Norgannon means... I see, so he still couldn't catch up.'

...

After sending the weakened Titans away, the battle that followed was beyond Illidan's capabilities. Andreas wanted Azshara to send him out of Burning Throne, but the stubborn Demon Hunter insisted on staying and following Andreas and Azshara into the Hall of World Souls.

Illidan has no intention of changing his mind: "It has been ten thousand years since I first met Sargeras. All the sacrifices and choices I have made have been for this moment. I must witness Sargeras' end with my own eyes."

' The end of Sargeras?'

Andreas shook his head and said, "Let me warn you first, the one guarding the Hall of the Soul of the World right now isn't Sargeras. If I'm not mistaken, that cunning demon king is probably on his way to Azeroth."

"What?!"

Illidan was startled. "Why didn't you say so sooner!"

"rest assured."

Andreas looked at the World Soul Palace that was right in front of him and pushed the door open with both hands.

"I have already made arrangements for Azeroth's defense. As long as we act quickly enough, we should be able to catch up with him before Sargeras can injure Azeroth."

"Clang!"

The heavy door slowly opened as Andreas pushed it open with his arms.

A giant with blue metallic skin stood in the very center of the Hall of the Soul of the World, holding a scythe. A golden helmet covering his mouth mostly obscured his face.

With eyes gleaming with energy, the blue giant stared intently at the three who stepped in. He remained silent, simply gripping his scythe and assuming a fighting stance.

' Argus the Destroyer.'

Andreas looked at the silent Titans and sighed regretfully.

Aggramar's soul was corrupted for a short time and could be saved with Eonar's healing.

However, Argus had been corroded by Fel Energy for tens of thousands of years, and neither Andreas nor even the Titans of Pantheon could save him.

The learned Norgannon should have already guessed that Argus' Azeroth was forcibly catalyzed to maturity by Sargeras at the most crucial moment, but the fact that he did not instruct Andreas to show mercy to Argus already speaks volumes.

" Illidan, you are also a seasoned veteran, so I won't waste any more words and will just give you instructions. You can handle it yourself."

Andreas placed the Staff of Ganir in front of him, lowered his center of gravity, and assumed a fighting stance.

" Azshara, get ready. Although the hastily created Argus won't be stronger than Aggramar, who has a fragment of a cosmic artifact, we must act quickly in this battle."

"If we linger too long on him, our home planet will face a huge crisis."

'I don't want Ai-chan to get stabbed by Sargeras' greatsword.'
