Three she-wolves from the restaurant and bar team rolled in a cart, setting it beside the table. Plates slid out one after another—pasta, seafood, warm bread, champagne catching the light.
Elara was already at the table, fingers hovering like she couldn't decide where to start. Emma moved in beside her, eyes scanning everything at once.
Bernard pushed his chair back, stood up, and made his way toward the door across the chamber.
Brandon glanced up. "Where are you going?"
"To Leo and Teddy's chamber," Bernard said, already reaching for the door handle.
"Join us," Brandon said, gesturing toward the table.
Bernard paused with his hand on the door, then turned back and sat down.
"Elara, please. I need to feed my pup," Brandon said, a mischievous smile tugging at his mouth.
"My pup? You're still calling her that? Hasn't she grown up?" Elara teased.
"To me, she'll always be my pup."
Laughter broke around them.
