"Nom, nom, nom," Echo was happily eating her lunch, her tail swaying happily. This week's cuisine is Italian, and eating delicious food is always the best.
Echo nodded to that thought while chewing. She gulps down the last bite of the pasta before looking up from her plate. She is feeling lonely since Rudolf hasn't eaten with her today.
But it's fine; there was an emergency with the student president, and Rudolf was needed to help. She's fine eating alone.
Bizen Nishiki, Gold Way, Onward Cameroun, etc., are all busy currently. Echo tilted her head in confusion; she didn't know why everyone around here was so busy now. She doesn't remember any races this week that they have to run.
She licked her lips before getting up and placing the tray at the designated spot for trays.
"Hm..." Her tail swished side to side as she jogged to the training field. On her way, she was stopped by a stranger. It's another girl from a different class.
"Umm, hey?" The timid Uma asked shyly, her ears pinned against her skull. Her cheeks are filled with a gentle rosy colour.
"Hello?" Echo Eclipse tilted her head, wondering what the girl wanted with her?
"Um... um..." The girl's mouth opens and closes repeatedly before sticking her hands out while bowing toward Echo. Inside the girl's hands is a pink letter.
While this was happening, Symboli Rudolf just so happened to walk around the corner and found this situation. Instantly, she froze.
"Eh? What's this for?" Echo asked the girl innocently, taking the letter in confusion, "Wants me to give it to somebody else?"
Echo is unaware that Rudolf is behind them; her gaze slowly becoming colder. The girl tries to explain, but feels chills coming up her spine.
Rudolf walks up behind Echo and, thanks to her height, takes the pink letter out of Echo's hand while 'smiling' at the girl.
"Need someone to give this to? I can use my connection for that," Rudolf 'smiled' even more at the girl, which made the girl whimper and run away.
"Hey! What was that! That was rude!" Echo remarked while frowning, trying to take back the letter. Rudolf just sighs while dodging Echo's flimsy attempts to snatch the letter.
"Are you really this dense or somehow still pure?" Rudolf scoffed while taking a step back, opening the letter.
"What do you mean by that! Is that an insult?!" she growled in anger, but Rudolf graciously burns this adorable creature's attempt to be scary in her mind. Rudolf's tail sways as she observes the puffed-up cheeks, the adorable weak glare, and more.
Rudolf chuckles, "Think of it as a compliment," as she reads the content of the letter, before slowly freezing.
Echo saw this as her chance and snatched the letter away from Rudolf.
"H-Hey! Echo!" Rudolf snaps back to reality and tries to steal it back; sweat is forming like crazy. Echo stuck out her tongue before running away at top speed.
As the wind fluttered by her skin while running, Echo read the letter.
It was simple, but sufficient.
{Dear Echo Eclipse,
I wanted to tell you about this for a while. It's about Symboli Rudo-}
And before Echo could read more, Symboli Rudolf snatched it away. She can't let Echo read the entire content. She mustn't!
"Rudolf! Come on! Why are you so set on not letting me read?" Echo pouted even more than Rudolf hid the letter behind her.
"Trust me, Echo, you shouldn't know of this yet," Rudolf anxiously tries to calm Echo down while keeping the letter away.
While arguing, Bizen Nishiki and Onward Cameroun, who were supporting Nishiki, arrived behind Symboli Rudolf.
Nishiki discovers the two inseparable duo bickering about something, then spots a letter in Rudolf's hand. She leans forward and reads the content.
Onward Cameroun noticed this and read it as well. Rudolf didn't notice because she is currently entirely focused on Echo Eclipse.
After reading the entire letter, Cameroun and Nishiki froze before Nishiki's lips curled up mischievously. 'Oh, no wonder... I guess Rudolf is desperate to hide this fact~' she thought.
She nudges her elbow against Cameroun before whispering, "Help Echo"
Cameroun wanted to refuse, but then again. Rudolf and Echo's relationship has been going stale for a while. After a few seconds of consideration, she exhaled before nodding.
Bizen Nishiki found a pleasant spot to sit and was ready to watch the show.
Cameroun snuck up, "Yosh!" and wrapped her arms around Rudolf's armpits from behind, restricting her movement and causing the letter to be let go of her hand.
Rudolf was surprised before attempting to escape, but surprisingly. Cameroun is like a wall; Rudolf becomes more anxious.
Echo smiles brightly, "Thanks!" and she happily grabs the letter.
Opening it and reading it fully.
{Dear Echo Eclipse,
I wanted to tell you about this for a while. It's about Symboli Rudolf's feelings toward you.
It wasn't my intention at first, but I accidentally discovered her album of picture clippings all about you.
Which made me believe she is in love with you, and I want to support your relationship with her. }
Rudolf turns her head away, embarrassed. She thought that her confession should've been done in a more romantic setting, not like this! Damn that girl! I remember her appearance; I'll get my revenge!
Bizen Nishiki, who was smirking and enjoying the show, shouted out to both of them. "Echo, what do you think about the content of the letter?"
Symboli Rudolf stopped trying to get out of Cameroun's hold and gave up.
"Hm? I knew about the album; Rudolf got my permission."
Nishiki chuckles, "Not about that, her feeling. She loves you, you know?"
"Yeah? I also know that," Echo just said bluntly, shocking everyone present. Cameroun loosened her hold, and Rudolf escaped.
"Eh?" All three of them instantly responded, dumbfounded.
"Mhm. I also love Symboli Rudolf, too," Echo smiled brightly and so purely about that confession, causing Symboli Rudolf to squint her eyes and ask a question. She has a sneaking feeling.
"So, you love me too?"
"Mhm!"
"Do you also love Bizen Nishiki too?" Symboli Rudolf's response also shocked Bizen Nishiki, causing Nishiki to turn her head toward Rudolf in confusion.
"Mhm! I also love her! I love Gold Way, I love Onward Cameroun, I love our homeroom teacher, I love everybody!"
Suddenly, the realisation struck everybody. Symboli Rudolf covers her face as she squats; she should've expected this. Echo isn't like a normal person.
Echo Eclipse probably does not know the difference between her love and romantic love.
From this realisation, both Bizen Nishiki and Onward Cameroun gave Rudolf a sign of pity. Symboli Rudolf really has a long way to go to conquer Echo Eclipse.
"Ahh..." Rudolf exhaled before taking the letter. She's going to burn it and rethink her plans toward her. "Echo, want to run around the track?"
"Together? Of course!" Echo Eclipse gave a happy, bright smile, so pure that all three of them did not understand how someone so pure could still exist in the world of racing.
