Chapter 27 - chapter 27

Chapter 27 – Collisional Realization

Nameless suddenly froze.

For a moment, he stood completely still in the middle of the arena.

Then irritation exploded out of him.

"Ahhh—!"

He ripped off his cloak and threw it to the ground. He stomped on it repeatedly, jumping around like a furious monkey.

Several gods stared at him.

"…Is he okay?" one whispered.

Nameless didn't care.

Because he had just realized something incredibly stupid.

"Idiot! Absolute idiot!" he muttered to himself.

He had come to this tournament for a reason.

His fragmented soul.

The other part of him.

For centuries he believed that if he pushed himself high enough—if he forced reality to react—the missing fragment would try to connect with him.

If that connection happened…

His soul would become whole again.

And a complete Nameless?

Even Celestial Gods would not dare to face him.

He was already standing at a level that made Celestial Gods uncomfortable.

But if his soul became whole—

Those same Celestial Gods would look like children in front of him.

That was the level of power hidden inside his broken existence.

And that was why he came here.

But Nameless forgot something very obvious.

That other soul fragment…

Was also him.

Same personality.

Same stubbornness.

Same dominance.

Just with its abilities sealed.

If Nameless simply waited patiently…

That fragment would eventually grow strong enough to unlock its sealed powers and reconnect naturally.

No divine war needed.

No tournament needed.

No chaos needed.

Just time.

Nameless crouched down slowly like a cartoon character who had just realized his life mistake.

"…I started a divine war… for something that would happen naturally."

He covered his face.

"I am a genius."

Then he stood up again.

"Well… too late now."

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"My right eye shows the arena… my left eye shows that other world…"

Nameless smiled slightly.

"I've been bored for centuries anyway."

He stretched lazily.

"Let's treat this as entertainment."

Someone nearby actually heard him say that.

The words spread quickly among the gods.

"A divine war… entertainment?"

A few ancient gods nodded slowly.

For someone like Nameless…

That statement was not arrogance.

It was fact.

But suddenly—

The second vision began to crack.

The world seen through his other eye started collapsing like shattered glass.

Nameless stiffened.

"…Wait."

Then memories flooded him.

Not divine memories.

Not battle memories.

Simple ones.

He saw himself sitting in a classroom.

Books.

Pens.

A desk.

Friends laughing beside him.

Nameless blinked in confusion.

"…What?"

Then another memory appeared.

A girl.

She was holding his hand.

They were walking together.

He stared at the vision.

"Oh," Nameless muttered calmly. "So she's my wife."

Another scene appeared.

Exams.

Studying late nights.

College entrance tests.

Assignments.

Mathematics.

Physics.

Chemistry.

Then suddenly—

The memories shattered.

The images disappeared.

His eyes returned to normal.

Now both eyes showed the same thing again.

The battlefield.

The divine arena.

But Nameless had gained something.

Knowledge.

The emotional memories were mostly gone.

Faces.

Names.

Relationships.

All shattered.

But the knowledge remained.

Pure education.

Science.

Technology.

Physics.

Chemistry.

Biology.

Nameless stood quietly.

"…Science."

He whispered the word slowly.

At first, it seemed useless.

This world was filled with cultivators who could bend reality itself.

People here ignored physics like it was a joke.

The laws of cultivation were millions—no—billions of times different from normal physical laws.

But then Nameless realized something.

Something beautiful.

"Biology…"

He smiled slowly.

No matter how powerful someone becomes…

If they maintain a humanoid form—

Their internal structure remains the same.

Heart.

Liver.

Kidneys.

Lungs.

Brain.

Even gods followed biological structure unless they transformed into beast forms.

Cultivators.

Immortals.

Gods.

If they appear human…

Their organs remain human.

Nameless' smile widened.

Science had just given him something terrifying.

Not how to create life.

Not how to heal.

But something far more interesting.

How to destroy organs.

He chuckled quietly.

"Yes… the God of Illusions might counter my strategies."

He crossed his arms.

"He is smart. I'll give him that."

Nameless actually respected him.

"He's only about a hundred thousand years younger than me… yet he reached similar intelligence."

He shook his head slightly.

"I respect that."

Then his smile turned dangerous.

"But kid… you're still playing in the wrong arena."

Nameless cracked his neck.

"Against Nameless?"

He stretched his arms wide.

"Daddy's home."

His voice echoed loudly across the arena.

"I'm going to show every single one of you…"

His eyes gleamed like a predator.

"…what kind of beast plays at being a human."
