Chapter 36 - THE MORNING AFTER

Rama woke at dawn to find Sekar hadn't slept at all.

She sat at the dining table, surrounded by holographic displays showing news feeds, Hunter Association reports, and tactical projections. Her tablet stylus moved frantically, making notes, calculations, plans.

"Three years," she said without looking up. "That's one thousand and ninety-five days. Twenty-six thousand, two hundred and eighty hours. To prepare for an extinction-level threat we barely understand."

"You've been up all night."

"I sent messages to every S-Rank in Southeast Asia at 3 AM. Called emergency meetings with the Jakarta Hunter Association at 4 AM. Started drafting contingency plans at 5 AM." She finally looked at him, exhaustion evident. "We need infrastructure. Training programs. Resource allocation. International coordination. And we need it yesterday."

Rama sat beside her, taking in the scope of what she'd already begun organizing. "Sekar—"
