Guy, Leon, Velzard and every demon in the in the palace watched the fountain of light pouring out of the humans body and creating a pillar that pierced the heavens.

The wellspring of energy slowed it's rapid pour until it stopped and what came was the human readying his wooden sword.

Velzard: "Simon, are you ok-"

Simon: "LEON!"

I lifted my gaze to look at the demon lord with determined, almost predatory eyes. I could feel my senses, my physical body, my spiritual body were all fired up.

Simon: "Let's finish this."

Leon give a near visible smile but no one could see it. "Come at me then."

The moments his words fell, I lunged at him faster. My mind and body were still adjusting to the new changes and overwhelming speed of my evolution but I had adjusted quite quickly.

My mind began analysing the sub-skills of 'Unpredictability', 'Huh… optimal action, automatic adjustment, martial mastery and future attack prediction.'

Optimal action: Allows the user to determine the best course of action in a given situation by allowing them to see through the flow of their movements. It also enables the user to perfectly recreate anything they've done once.

Automatic adjustment: automatically bends and contorts the physical body in a manner that will always cause opposing attacks to miss.

Martial mastery: instantly imbeds physical techniques into the spiritual body, causing them to become muscle memory.

Future attack prediction: self explanatory.

You might think I was wasting time analysing my new skill but that thought process all happened in 1/1000th of a second, and I wasn't even using thought acceleration at max power.

This skill essentially makes me unpredictable…oh, that makes sense.

My sword struck his, which sent a shockwave across the frozen continent.

He pushed me back and advanced forward, performing a flurry of slashes. That might have worked before but unpredictability made it so that anything he threw at me, I automatically dodged, parried and even countered. Despite being on the defensive, I was actually hitting him more than he was to me.

He stopped his advance, jumped back and sheathed his stick in holy magic, I responded in tandem and used Blasphemer to sheath mine in dark magic. Our swords clashed into an explosion of light and darkness that shot into the sky.

Me and Leon exchanged blows and I decided to experiment. I used blasphemer to erase the mass of my sword, our next exchange came and my sword phased through his, the moment before my sword hit his, I disabled blasphemer and struck him straight in his core.

Leon flew back violently and crashed into the ground. He got up immediately.

I charged him and threw a downward slash onto him.

He parried the attack but staggered backwards.

Leon got his bearings farely quickly and decided to move at lightspeed, moving so fast that even with thought acceleration and parallel processing, it was hard to keep up, but due to unpredictability, my body automatically adjusted it's stance to parry each cut.

As that was going on, my mind was coming up with a new art. I coated my sword like that of aura sword and then started moving and vibrating the aura around the sword. I applied magic so that it doesn't just count as a physical attack.

I charged at Leon who was ready to parry my attack. My sword came from the left against his. And the result…

His sword was cleanly cut in half.

I kicked him back…and waited.

"I… forfeit." Leon announced, his words echoing across the battlefield.

Hearing his declaration, I immediately dropped my sword which splintered as the aura around it left it.

"You know Leon… has anyone told you how much of a pain in the ass?" I said as I threw my hands up in triumph.

I heard an immense amount of cheering around me, it was only then that I realized that the entire palace of demons were watching our battle. My shirt was scorched and almost gone. I immediately created a new one from out of nowhere.

I felt a fast presence approach me and before I could identify what it was, a huggy Velzard had already crashed into me with her arms wrapped around me. "Well done, Simon. I'd expect nothing less from my family." Velzard embraced me closely, 'he's… so… warm.'

I decided to go to sleep. Technically since I have control over my spiritual body, I can choose when fall asleep and I doubt their would be a better place than in Velzard's embrace.

Velzard felt my body go limb and slightly frowned, "Jackass… having me to deal with this unfamiliar feeling all by myself." Velzard whispered to herself.

Guy just smiled at our exchange and walked to us, trying to take me off her hands but felt defiance from Velzard, "Are you ok with carrying him." Upon his word, Velzards embrace around my unconscious body tightened.

Velzard carried me in a very awkward manner that maintains she keeps hugging me.
