"Quite the astute one, aren't you."
"Oh, shush. You were already keenly aware of my intelligence."
Me and Luminous had walked into an area that was less residential and more natural looking area. A garden that Luminous had been carefully started and tended to after our relationship was established.
" This place is beautiful. Why have you never brought me here?"
" I wanted to save it for a special occasion."
I looked at Luminous for a couple seconds, she seemed so serene, so graceful. For a second, I had thought she were a real god, supremely divine, " Jeez, you look like that and I might actually start falling in love with you."
" Funny, you have some deep-seated trust issues. I get that."
" Comes with psychopathy."
" I don't necessarily believe that what you have is psychopathy. Psychopaths can't feel emotions but you clearly feel a lot." Luminous took her seat on a nearby bench.
" Seems someone's been studying the books I gave her on criminology." I took my seat next to her.
" So have you figured it out… why I wanted this date?"
" I think I have. I assumed that everything now was some sort of manipulation, but it's simpler than that."
Luminous looked at me with intrigue, " Well don't keep me in suspense."
" The reason you wanted this date wasn't for some deal or to get some dirt to blackmail me. The truth is, you just wanted to spend time with me."
Luminous looked at me with deprecation and then looked towards the sunset, " Simon… I want you to know how much you mean to me."
" You do realize that your sudden shift in how you treat me isn't your own doing."
" Yes I've read the documents. Elysia right. I know it's probably been affecting me."
I smiled but wasn't happy, " So tell me, how do you feel around me?"
" Normal… human. Honestly, if I had the chance, I would have snatched you up myself."
" What makes you think you can't."
" Please. You think I'm stupid. I know you have someone else in your heart and I doubt you're the harem type."
I analyzed the women before me, " Are you saying that what you feel for me is romantic?"
" I don't know anymore. But I reiterate, I want you to know that I do hold you very dear to my heart. That is no illusion of mine brought by Elysia. If you ever need something from me, you are always welcome to return here."
I contemplated for a second before reaching my hand out while standing, "Come on."
Luminous looked confused and gave a weary smile, " Where are we going?"
" Just take my hand." I smiled at her.

We had appeared at a sort of flat and glamorous tiled area that was open to the nature outside.
Looking at this place, Luminous knew what it was, an outside dance floor.
"Would you take my hand Milady." Luminous turned around to see me in a suit holding my hand out.
Luminous hesitated for a second simply she wasn't sure of the situation at the moment.
She took my hand and from it came tendrils of light that wrapped around Luminous.
The light instantly vanished to reveal something new on Luminous, a long flowing open-slit cocktail dress.
" Would you care for a dance?"
" I'd love too."
Luminous readily agreed to the dance. Music seemed to come from no where and just seeped into the atmosphere around us.
" You know you never said whether you actually did it." Luminous whispered into my ear as we were moving.
"Did what?"
"Whether you actually gave up Leon to Guy as a gift."
"Oh that. So Guy is keeping that under wraps within the demon lords council. Yes I did give him up but the stipulations was I give him up, tied up, not that he wouldn't escape himself, but now I'm personally blacklisted from entry into El Dorado."
Luminous chuckled, " I doubt that being blacklisted will restrict your movements, but I understand his anger."
" You would be upset if I kidnapped you and forced you into such a suggestive situation?" I asked jokingly to Luminous.
" Oh you wouldn't have to force me, you'd just have to ask sweetheart. There's no way I could say no to you."
I'll be honest, that caught me off guard. My fave went into a deep blush, my mind raced into a storm of inappropriate scenarios that made me almost lose it.
Luminous cupped my face, "Shhhh, Calm down and let your mind loose."

I opened my eyes to the extremely bright sunlight streaming through the window. I looked down next to me to the naked vampire next to me and my mind went into overdrive.
"Morning there." Luminous said while laying down, she looked refreshed and slightly smug.
"…Did we… do something?" I asked concerned about the potential damage I've done.
"No, I expect reparations for the emotional and physical damages done to me." Luminous teased.
"Ok clearly you're fine and ready for the day." I said annoyed at her attitude. I got up, ready to leave her.
"Wait come back, I'm kidding. You don't have to worry, nothing happened." Luminous grabbed hold of me from behind, "Please… stay."
I looked behind me to Luminous's sincere face and got back under the covers with her. I looked outside and saw… snow falling.
" Do you know… that I'm actually a reincarnator?" I asked which Luminous just smiled knowingly, " Ah, so you didn't know but you had a hunch huh."
" Your knowledge is too unconventional for this world. Why are you bringing this up?" Luminous had her interest peaked.
Luminous looked up to me being perched up on my elbow. She could see in his gaze clarity, but also veiled anger.
" Um, is there something wrong?" Luminous asked, slightly afraid.
" You used Asmodeus to try and cure my illness, didn't you?" I accused her which made her flinch and a shrink herself into the blanket.
I just sighed, "I know that you wanted to help but messing with that will just get you stabbed in the end. Thank you though."
"I'll be careful not to do so." Luminous replied shakily, she knew that Simon was casual and caring towards anyone but she still gets caught off guard by this familial care he gives her.
I got up and went silently to the kitchen.
Luminous was alone with her own thoughts now, 'It might not have been an honest date, but I did enjoy myself Simon. It was nice to be human for once.'
